The Macy's located at the south Coast Plaza have a lot of beautiful items. This has the largest selection than most of the Macy's stores. If you are looking for an evening gown, go to the third floor, where they have them located. Some are on clearance. The only drawback is that the store is a bit messy people don't tend to put back what they got off the racks to try on the Services iffy. I didn't have anybody help me, but the value is good.

I came in for a dress red dress shirt. The men's store is three levels. I found Lizz and Osep and they were more than happy to help me. Osep measured me. The two of them helped me find the right shirt. I was pleased with the service I received. I don't wear dress clothes often, but when I need new clothes I'll return.

I love Macy's. I've been shopping at Macy's for years and years and just about every week. Especially this location at South Coast Plaza. Such a nice store, and when they have a sale (several times a month, ha ha), I usually find many good buys. I also like to order online. They have excellent delivery services. Orders always arrive super fast without having to pay for shipping fees.

Macy's at the South Coast Plaza is a large store. Women's dress department is spread over a large area. There were not too many helpers here but I found a few of items in the smart casual department. The people in the women's shoe department are quite not helpful. I think they were super busy with a long lines to waited to need help. But there were lots of choices and prices were reasonable. The perfume store was good, the lovely lady was helpful. I bought a skincare online their also sent me the wrong item I think with such a busy holiday they need to hire more people whether it's online or in store they really need to hire more people to make it easier for people to shop

My favorite department store of them all. There's something for everyone, whether you're a baby, a young teen, a college kid, a young mom, or older. The South Coast Plaza mall location has this store completely dedicated to woman, then another store further down in this same mall for men, and then another separate store across the bridge for home items. They also recently put a Wretzels Pretzels station inside the main Macy's on the first floor by the shoes. If you shop here regular, or even just once or twice a year, it really pays to get the Macys credit card. I've had credit here since my early college years. You get points for every purchase and birthday deals. They also always have sales going on throughout the year. The big sale days are during the holidays, but they also have random Flash sales and One Day sales that will give you 25%, 50% and even up to 65% off on select items. Once they email about the sale though, you need to shop fast or lots of sizes will be sold out by the evening. Sometimes it'll be an online only sale, and other times it'll be both in-store and online. The app is really the best way to make your purchases. You can choose to have your order delivered to you, or sent to one of their locations. And for returns you have 30 days to either mail them back, or take them to the store. They make everything so easy no matter how you prefer to shop.

I've been a long time shopper of Macy's as they always have the best deals when it comes to shopping at a large department store. They have a last act section where you can really score some good deals and you don't need coupons. The personnel are always friendly and helpful. What I enjoy at Macy are the special events they have throughout the year to celebrate the various holidays. I happened upon the Lunar New Year celebration today so was treated to a Lion Dance and a Vietnamese dance as well. There was also a handful of local AAPI vendors there to showcase the unique culture. Macy's will continue to be one of my favorite stores to shop at!

Don't buy from here , they damage your items and then claim them as final sale so that you can't return . Jewelry department is sketchy .

This was the closest place here in OC to find BBC stuff but it doesn't look like they have much of it anymore. I know some of these are limited edition but c'mon.. if you want $250 for a jacket you're gonna have to add more than a patch or small graphic to a regular looking jacket/hoodie to get my business. Also, this place could use some better customer service. I don't know how many times I've stopped by and the guy at the desk just sits there clicking away on the computer.

Only based on shopping experience…read more I had a lovely experience. Tried on multiple items, had an associate help bring my items to a room (because I had so many), and I continued to shop around. He was so lovely, and even remembered my name and checked in with me prior to leaving. I can't remember his unfortunately (he was tall, dark, and handsome). I got lucky enough to purchase items that were new/clean and for an extra 50% off. A Levis sweatshirt, Aritzia tank top, Princess Polly jeans, and a Patagonia dryfit shirt, for a total of $23 with tax. Surprised they have 12 employees working that day, a lot for a thrift shop. Checking out took abnormally long due to one register, and a buyer being upset from a past purchase and not agreeing with stores policy, felt bad for the worker handling that issue/confrontation. Apologies to everyone else who had a terrible selling and shopping experience. Hopefully they improve, and I definitely will return again for the meantime.

As a buyer, I love this place--so I figured I'd try selling here. Almost a huge mistake…read more The offers were honestly shocking. An Alo hoodie? $2. A vintage 100% silk Victoria's Secret top? $0.10--yes, ten cents. A rag & bone handbag? Also $0.10. When I asked for clarification, they said maybe the buyer didn't realize the brand... but even then, how does that justify ten cents? The only offer that felt remotely fair was $50 for my Balenciaga hoodie. Everything else? Basically nothing--$1 total for four additional items. They were also "authenticating" my vintage Dior bag, and at that point I just stopped the process. I wasn't about to risk them offering me such a low price for it. It genuinely felt absurd. I understand resale businesses need margin, but this felt extreme. It honestly made me feel bad for people who sell here--like you'd have to be in a really tough spot to accept those kinds of offers. What's more frustrating is that nothing in the store is priced anywhere near that low. As a buyer, I've spent real money here--I even bought a beautiful vintage D&G belt for $250. Now I can't help but wonder what they paid for it. This experience definitely changed how I see the store. I still think they have great pieces, but the selling side feels incredibly one-sided. Offering even 20-30% of resale value would feel a lot more reasonable. Their "coding" for buying, It's a huge scam. As much as i loved shopping here.. you are better off not selling. Don't give your items away unless you're truly okay with the price--don't make a decision out of desperation. (If you have that luxury)
