Not to knock that *at all*, because we all have our hobbies. Clothes just happen to be a prominent one of mine. I get no love from AT Loft. None at all. The staff is always helpful and patient. My daughter is only 11 and quite thin so she's usually a size XS or 0, we always find an employee willing to walk us around to show us all the new stuff they have in my daughters size, then they take it and set up a fitting room for her....sorta makes my daughter feel special as you don't get this type of service at most stores these days. As for the bad reviews saying the service is not good or employees are rude have have never once encountered that type of problem at this location.

Came across this store while looking for possibilities to find tuxedo shirts near work and it was a…read moregreat discovery because it ended up being the most affordable option out of any clothing stores in the area. I was a little confused as to the location of the store because it's tucked away behind Roadrunner and Michael's in Finley Square but a big sign above the passageway leading to the entrance helped me find my way. The tuxedo shirts were pre-packaged so I wasn't able to try them on in-store but a staff member who had directed me to them was nice enough to offer to measure me so that I could be sure of my size. I grabbed a slim fit one which was regular price for myself and a regular fit one for my brother since it was on clearance and he had mentioned he might want one. Once I had the shirts I did a loop around the whole store and noted a nice variety of men's suits and dress wear as well as women's dresses and other clothing available at competitive and in some cases fairly discounted prices. There is even a decent shoe section with lots of Stacy Adams and a children's section too. As I was looking around the staff member who assisted me beforehand checked in on me and I noted that he was very attentive in helping several other customers with sizing and tailoring suggestions. The variety of bow ties available was the best I had seen during my search and once again the most affordable although they didn't have any self-tie options. I was happy with the pre-tied slightly oversized butterfly one I was able to find though. They also had a good amount of black satin neckties available and I ended up purchasing two of these--a slim one as a backup in case I didn't like the bowtie look and a more traditional one for my dad because he wasn't sure he had one. In the end I opted for the bowtie but am keeping the necktie for the future. My dad ended up already having a tie he could use and my brother didn't need the tux shirt but the return process was nice and easy and the cashier was just as friendly as when I made my first purchase. Although the store can be a bit rough looking in certain areas and the options are more limited for someone with a smaller frame like me I still think K&G is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a new suit or anything else that goes with it.

So this person walks away and gets a manager I guess which took way longer than just checking me out. And the manager comes up and she says can I help you. I said yes I just want to purchase this she says okay ring her up and the person said she didn't go through the line. I said I absolutely went through the line which is why my items are sitting right there behind the counter. So she was gracious and she took care of me and I told this person that it's not cool that they lied to the manager. They said I didn't lie. I'm done. I am far prior to that stage of life and am here to tell you that this store has much about it to like. For one thing, their habit of cutting tops and jackets in loose, boxy shapes is improving; styles are looking more fitted in recent times, so that quilted jacket doesn't look like it could double as a microwave cozy. I particularly love the Travelers line: skirts, dresses and so on made of a microfiber that doesn't wrinkle, so you can wad it up and throw it in a suitcase and it will forgive you. I've had a skirt from this line for several years that's calf length and printed with bold flowers; it still looks stylish, i get compliments on it all the time, it flows beautifully and no wrinkles! Chico's really has great jewelry: if you like big, bold, unique and interesting pieces, check it out. I was told recently that they got a new buyer and their style is being reflected in the jewelry choices. Along with jewelry I will include accessories: I am not normally a belt person, but I found a FABULOUS metal-accented belt there that I have been wearing with various skirts and jeans; quite literally, every time I have worn it I've gotten at least one compliment on it, generally more, and I love it, so it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. I bought a second belt but it didn't quite work (stiffness made for difficult adjustment, and also it just didn't sit right on the couple of pants that I was going to wear it with), so I had to return it. Easiest and fastest return I ever had to make anywhere, so the staff is to be commended. The staff is to be commended in general for personable and efficient service. Jeanine helped me both on my shopping day and today when I made my return, so kudos to her for good work. The downsides here: price range is on the high side. Also, they have a weird size scale, (0,1,2 & 3, with some half sizes on some items), so it takes a bit of work to determine where you may fall. Overall, unique pieces and friendly service add up to a nice shopping experience. Though I am on the younger end of their clientele, I will check out Chico's particularly for unusual jewelry, accessories and the Travelers line.
