Let me start by saying, "I adore SAS shoes". These are the only shoes that I have ever owned that I have to replace the inside before the outside looks bad. When I went inside 2 employees were very helpful in showing me my options, not just one choice of insoles but 3. Along with the insole I also purchased some new shoe laces so my 1 year old shoes look and feel good as new. I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet all day, so shoes are extremely important to me. At $200 a pair, their shoes are not cheap, but they wear extremely well. This is money well spent!

For example...this past week I finally earned my $10 coupon with their rewards card program and I got a pair of asics and a pair of work shoes for $70 total....not bad. The work shoes were on sale for $20, so half off = $10. One problem I do have here often is finding my size which is 9 1/2. I always seem to find alternatives though when it comes to athletic shoes. I also compare their selection to kohl's ...they may not have the best and newest of shoes that just come out, they seem to be a season behind or something. In fact, I'm pretty sure I did not find athletic shoes that I liked and opted for Kohls or Famous Footwear. But, of all my visits here the staff are friendly, don't bother you like they're trying to sell you shoes or anything like that. I will continue to come here though as an option for shoes, especially when they're having a sale!

I asked if maybe we could check out at a different register, they said no, I asked if we could maybe jump in front of this women, check out in 90 seconds and they could continue troubleshooting, they said no that wouldn't be fair. I do understand that sentiment, but we were the only other ones in the store... and it was just irritating that 3 of them were standing there so clueless with no answers... I mean what if it took another hour to figure out the gift card issue? Should they just close down the store and not check out any more customers until they figure it out? I'm very disappointed with the way this way handled.

This woman gave me such a hard time, telling me I should exchange this for something else, they have so many new things, etc. I kept telling her no thank you, I'm not interested. So, she started to show me scarves and a purse that she thought would look great on me, again, I said no, thank you. This went on for like 10-15 minutes. Then finally, as she was processing my return, she said I have to give her my phone number, email and address in order to finalize the return. I said no, you don't need that information. Then she smirks at me and says, I'm sorry, but we won't be able to do the return then. Really? You need all of this information to make a return? I called another location (Oak Brook) and asked if the above "policy" about returns was valid. She said absolutely not. I was working out across the street and made it 10 min before close...it was the only opportunity to try on a dress.
