    Seafood casserole is fantastic!!!

Absolutely loved our visit to MacCray's Seafood in Tiverton, Rhode Island! We almost skipped it tonight, thinking it would be packed and impossible to find a table--but to our surprise, there were tables, and we're so glad we went. Everything about the experience hit the spot. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared--you can really taste the quality in every bite. And topping it all off with a cold, refreshing Del's made the night feel like summer in a cup! I try a lot of seafood spots when I'm in the area, and MacCray's is a consistent favorite. It's always a hit--delicious food, fun and friendly staff, welcoming fellow diners, and a relaxed, almost tropical atmosphere that just makes you want to linger a little longer. If you're in the area and craving fresh seafood in a laid-back setting, don't miss MacCray's. It's the kind of place you'll come back to again and again!

Very cute. Little parking. The dining area is under a tent which was very hot. No fans. Food was good. On the expensive side and served with plastic silverware on paper plates. Will not be back

3.5 stars. On the search for the best clam cakes. Heard about this place from a few people and knew I had to give it a try. these were ok. They were of good size but a little dense and doughy. Had nice amount of clams. They came out fresh from the fryer but weren't as crispy.

I don't even know where to start! We were in the area being tourists looking for some great seafood...and this place did NOT disappoint. Everything we ate was amazing. Do NOT sleep on the place! The chowder, seafood bake, and lobster roll were delicious!

We were visiting Connecticut from Ohio and went on an adventure to locate some local fresh lobster. We googled and found this local gem and decided to try it especially since the pictures posted from the restaurant looked good. Well we were EXTREMELY impressed by the service of our waitress and the owner who came by to speak to us. The frozen lemonades ( with alcohol ) were amazing . We all had different entrees and they all were absolutely wonderful. They were even presented to us like we were in a fancy restaurant. We were also surprised to learn the chef was from Ohio as well . I almost forgot the prices were amazing for what you get . Not expensive at all .

Stuffie, clam cakes and a wachusett blueberry... perfect!

Let me just start with this... Macray's is the #1 place you should be heading to when you are craving fresh clam cakes, fried fish, clam strips, etc. my wife and u needed a kid friendly spot to have a bite to eat for lunch and decided on this place since we had not been there in a few years and it was such a great decision! We arrived and were greeted with smiles and sat immediately. It's right off a main road but the atmosphere gives you summer time in Rhode Island with the decor. Tables are surrounded with box car seating so you can see the street. Music is great and summer vibes come through for sure! The there is a huge tv for entertainment as well. Service was quick and our orders were taken as soon as we were ready. There are a variety of drink choices including Rhode Island staple Del's lemonade (you can even order it boozy)I ordered a wachusett blueberry and my wife got a Miami vice. Both refreshing and delicious. For food I got a stuffie and clam cakes. My wife ordered fish nuggets and oil ion rings. When our food arrived at the table, in less than 15 minutes mind you, it was hot, fresh and well presented! The batter on the fish was flakey and not soggy at all! The stuffie was one of the best I've ever had with just the right amount of clams and chouriço! The clam cakes aware the star of the show! They are hands down my favorite in the area. Hot, fresh and filled with flavor and huge pieces of clam! We will Be back for sure! Give this place a shot and it will be your new favorite!

Loved the heated tent they have set up. The fish and chips were very good. It's a beer batter but not too thick. The service was excellent

They have some of the best seafood around. LouAnn had the clam roll, I had the burger (wasn't in the mood for seafood). The clams were delicious, fresh, sweet, and crispy. They were not greasy at all! The portion was good considering many places have cut back. Considering seafood prices $24.00 seemed reasonable. The burger was one of the best I have had. A juicy burger with American cheese served up on brioche roll with roman lettuce leaf and sliced tomato. It was cooked a perfect medium and required a napkin to hold it because it was so juicy. I have been to places that specialize in burgers and frankly with one exception this one was better and only 12.99. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. To wash it down we had a tangerine Dell's with Tito's vodka! Wow! What a tasty and refreshing summer drink!

We decided to try Macray's again after a previous bad experience. Very glad that we did! They have an assortment of outdoor tables, igloos, and tiki huts set up for your outdoor dining pleasure. We still grabbed ours to go. We ordered clam cakes and chowder, both were piping hot with a good flavor. The clam cakes had clams as did the chowder. They were both way better than some of the other local clam shacks that I do not enjoy in the slightest. We will certainly have to come back and try out one of their igloos or tiki huts, not to mention something tasty off of their dinner menu!

Way better than the 3 1/2 star rating I see currently on Yelp. I had a 4 1/2 star experience, I will go with a 4 here, but it's more of a round down. The staff was super efficient and friendly. It was busy when I was there and they did great. The food was very good for what it was, ... casual seafood that is heavy on frying. I had fried clams and a fish sandwich. The clams exceeded my expectations and the sandwich was exactly what I expected. My daughter had a lobster roll that she loved. We both had a Tito's and Del's cocktail and that was tasty too. We visited with the family dog who was welcomed. All in all our visit was a really great experience. This place is a Tiverton gem.

Fisherman's platter: fried whole belly clams, fried shrimp, friend scallops, clam cakes, tartar sauce, and Cole Slaw.
    Neil S.

Food is good I got the Fisherman's platter. ***WARNING*** My only gripe for this place is the hidden surge charge when using a card. There is NO mention anywhere of a surge charge at this establishment. You will only see it after you pay on the card machine and the final receipt.

My initial visit was on a Monday night when they had all kinds of cheese specials for $10. Including a delicious cheese pizza. However on my second trip I discovered the real value was on their Sunday specials where you get a soup or salad, 1/2 portion of lasagna, a choice of chicken entree and a special pasta. All for $29. Needless to say there were doggie bags coming home with us. Dani our server was a sheer delight and most punctual with her attention to us. Unfortunately, that's where things started going downhill. It took 30 minutes before anyone even took our drink orders. During that time we weren't offered water, bread, or asked if we had any questions. Drinks, which were just water and soft drinks, took another 15 minutes to arrive. Around 8:45 our server finally came to take our food order and told us the kitchen had asked her to wait before putting it in. By that point, one person in our group had already left to get Wendy's because he was tired of waiting. Once we finally ordered, there were still no drink refills. We asked for waters for the table and were brought five glasses with, "I have five waters, who wants one?" We had 17 people. It was just kind of unbelievable. Our food didn't come out until almost two hours after we arrived. By then everyone was hungry and thirsty. There were two kids in our group, and it would have been nice if their meals had at least come out earlier. Or bring us bread or something to hold us over. We also had to ask for salt and pepper because there wasn't any on the table. They brought one set for all 17 of us. We asked for another and eventually got one more set. I understand large parties can be challenging, but if the restaurant can't handle a reservation that size, it probably shouldn't accept it. The one positive was our server. She was very nice and seemed to be doing the best she could. I really wish I could say the food made up for the wait, but it was just average. Nothing was bad, but nothing was memorable either. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience.

We walked in just after 8 on a Friday night and were greeted by two very friendly young women at the host stand. We opted to sit at a high top table in the lively bar area. Every seat at the bar was taken. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection. I ate the whole thing, felt a bit overstuffed and unable to taste the burger (next time!) I am very happy to report that Pine House Kitchen & Bar got four thumbs up from us, and I look forward to visiting again with family and friends.

The parking lot was packed, but it wasn't very busy inside. It was a lot smaller than I thought. There was a dining room room to the right when you walked in with a few table tables, and then a larger bar area with tables around that. We were seated in the bar area. Inside was really nice. I really liked all of the wood finish inside and how it was decorated. I had the crispy coop, which was a fried chicken sandwich dipped in hot wings sauce with Gorgonzola and coleslaw. The chicken was really good, very tender. It had just enough spice. I ordered truffle fries on the side and they were unbelievably good! I ordered a special winter cocktail with tequila and apple cider that was really good. It was a decent size drink too for the price. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was really good. She ordered plain fries as all of the meals come with herb fries automatically. My friend had a burger and actually complained because it was too salty. They were kind enough to take half off of her meal. Our waiter was excellent. He was super attentive and we were never without a drink. We will definitely be going back here and trying other stuff.
