It's just a piece of toast with plain smashed avocado, nothing great about it and quite flavorless. If they changed it up, adding ingredients and spices to it, it would elevate it. After waiting 35 minutes for my latte, I finally had to go ask about it myself. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, just "we'll make it." After another 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed the cashier remind the barista again. She eventually brought the latte to the table, dropped it off, and walked away -- no "thank you for waiting," no apology, nothing. It's a shame because the place has so much potential, but customer service can completely change the experience. Sadly, after this visit, we won't be coming back. I really hope they improve their service because the atmosphere alone is not enough.

My girlfriend and I recently moved to Hollywood and try to shop locally wherever possible. We are coffee addicts and finding a good roaster was the first on our list. We sampled coffee from the handful of local roasters and Palm Coffee was not only the best in the area, upon first sip, it was the best we ever had. We now exclusively drink it, always the Plague Doctor Dark Roast. Also if we ever have guests, I make sure to brew a pot and I don't taint the jury by lavishing praise on it. My dad, a true coffee snob, immediately said how good our coffee was. Other coffee snob friends of mine were visiting from Vermont and I neglected to put in our order in time. Camilla at Palm made special arrangements for me to get a 12 oz bag just in time. These people are sweet, local, and their coffee is absolutely bananas good. Also if you buy a bag, it comes with branded cups and stickers! STICKERS! They're the best.

We had an amazing "tres leche" cold coffee, served with some sugar, which for me was the perfect amount, and sprinkled nutmeg on top. So flavorful, and hits the spot. We also had a hibiscus, lime mixed, with jalapeño, YES, jalapeño. This drink was not only beautiful, but also delicious. Served cold and so refreshing. The wall displayed many bags of coffee beans with mixed flavors from Brazil, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The owner Marcela was extremely informative about her coffee products and grinded a fresh cup of Nitro Cold Brew called Genova which was a mid level roast consisting of brown sugar and almonds - this taste was truly an idiosyncratic treat. Most of the single coffee bean bags were priced from $15 - $18. Her shop provides a workshop on various dates for $130.00 that explain in depth the use of espresso equipment and the internal workings of coffee preparation which would be a fun event for any coffee enthusiast.

They probably do lots of other things that I don't know about. Maybe wholesale distribution? It seems like an interesting operation. What I do know is that they have great coffee. I have enjoyed great cups of fresh, hot coffee. I have bought and loved bags of fresh roasted coffee; Jamaican Blue Mountain I savored in my own coffee maker. Special occasion coffee. I will come here during weekdays when I'm around. And I expect I will continue to learn more.
