I purchased a used truck in May and bought it before the dealership had finished preparing it for the used lot because I was assured it would be completed and would look and feel almost brand new when I took delivery. Unfortunately, that promise was not kept. The cabin air filter was packed with debris, there was still trash left in the bed of the truck, the doors creaked badly every time they were opened, and multiple interior cabin lights were burned out. These are not major repairs--they are basic details that should have been addressed before handing the keys to a customer. What is most disappointing is that it felt like the level of care and attention ended the moment the sale was finalized. The vehicle I received was not the vehicle I was promised, and the dealership's lack of follow-through left a poor impression. My sales representative was excellent and did a great job throughout the process, but the overall ownership and delivery experience was disappointing and fell well short of expectations. read more

We took our F150 (2018 with 92,000 miles) in for a scheduled oil change on Friday. We told them the service engine light came on the day before and wanted it checked out further as well. The service rep stated we could only get the oil change that day as was scheduled but could get a diagnostic the next week. The following Thursday my husband called for an update and the service rep said we needed a new cam shift and the price would be 6,800. He said the vehicle had high mileage and oil change at 8-10,000 miles wasn't adequate.We called back Friday morning ( one week after dropping off vehicle) and asked if oil had been changed because we were going to pick vehicle up. The Service Rep stated they were still working on it. I went up there to pick it up after calling a second time that morning and telling them I was on my way. The service rep stated there were several vehicles in front of mine and it was going to be a long wait. An argument began over the length of time the vehicle had been there for an oil change which was still not done. I told them to put enough oil in it so I could take it somewhere else. I also told them I was going to the general manager to report everything. Another rep in the service dept then said " And do what?" They were extremely disrespectful. It turned out the service manager was in there the entire time and said nothing the entire time. After my complaint she stated the oil should have been changed every 5,000 miles. I then paid 215.00 for a " diagnostic test " and to top off my oil. I took the truck to an oil shop and got the oil properly changed then went to another auto shop and got a diagnostic test.. Guess what? The diagnostic test came back completely normal. Mac Haik has lost my business forever. I would not take my vehicle there for anything to be serviced. I will never buy another vehicle from there because of the treatment I received in their service department. I feel they were dishonest about everything. The service manager lady did not do anything to help. She stated she would never step in on one of her employees.. She did nothing whatsoever for her customer either. She helped in Mac Haik losing our business forever. read more

If I could give the Dealership a zero, I would have. They got me in, made me a deal, in writing, not knowing that my payoff was about $800 cheaper than in their paperwork, then , backed out! Their GM, or I would call him a DA, then decided to not make the deal because my payoff was less than originally was. Not my fault I over paid my current car note, they were defintlty hiding something in the figures, and Ryan, did not wish to actually have a customer get a good deal on a new Mustang. I wishI purchased a truck that was used and supposedly passed their highest inspection with flying colors. Little did we know that this was not true. I got the truck to Oxford and it wouldn't start and then when I took it in they said there were parts held together with zip ties that needed to be repaired $1200 no warranty. Is that what passing the inspection means? Then to make things even worse when we called makHaik and their GM was more focused on dodging meeting with us than anything else. Joel, a sales manager here, has been nothing but disrespectful and prideful without admitting to anything about how they didn't see the problem on the inspection. This leads us to believe that they were purposely deceptive about the inspection and that they were just trying to make a quick dollar. Now that they have had us bring up things like the parts held together by zip ties, they are in defense mode and won't own up to any of it without giving an attitude back. If anyone in the Jackson area is thinking about buying from here think 2 times about how you might be scammed for a quick dollar as well. They care more about selling the car than making sure the customer is happy. Even the service employee at Oxford's ford dealership thought that this was embarrassing for the makhaik dealership. Go to Gray Daniel's they do a great job over there and were very professional when we were shopping for cars. If we would have known the management was like this at makhaik we wouldn't have bought from here. Edit: Was washing my truck a couple weeks after I bought it and noticed that the paint on the front right fender felt weird while I was drying it. Noticed that the clear coat was peeling off. Then one of their guys in finance called the $70,000 car I was about to buy a "Piece of sh*t" when he thought I couldn't hear him. SOLD US A LEMON. The trucks been in 6+ times in the last year. Already replaced the transmission at 60k miles...... Latest visit was $2k for minor maintenance/repairs of which one of the issues was not even fixed even though we were charged for it. They also tried to tell us the wheel bearings were bad but when we went for a second opinion that mechanic could not find any issues with the wheel bearings meaning that Mak Haik either tried to screw us out of another 1k or they have inexperienced techs who have no one checking their work. On top of all of the scandals, the representative in service that we've been dealing with, Chris at the Jackson location, has always been a real prick. Very unhelpful. Very sarcastic and overall just a pain in and of himself. Save yourself and buy somewhere else. read more

Buyer beware! Avoid this dealership at all cost! You will get no service after the sale. They will get the wrong city on your paperwork, which you have to chase down to get it fixed. Had to take off work to do that. And, they won't honor what they said they would do. Haven't fixed an issue they promised they would (in writing) when I bought my vehicle. You will be lied to. Dealing with them will do nothing but cause you stress. One thing I should mention as well is that you should be prepared to more or less fight with them if you buy a used vehicle and don't get the extended warranty. I almost walked out of the finance guy's office because he was determined to make that commission on an extended warranty. I didn't want it. Once again, Buyer Beware! WORST EXPERIENCE PURCHASING A VEHICLE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I would give zero stars if possible. I do not recommend buying from this car dealership unless you want to be lied to and left on the back burner like I have been. I've been left with several thousands of dollars worth of repairs 8 hrs after purchasing a vehicle with a "fresh service" from what seems to be a D rated service center. Not only is their sale department a joke, their service center isn't far behind the cometic act they call Mac Haik Ford. I purchased a $43,000.00 2017 F150 with 77,000 miles on it. After paying sticker price with no negotiating. The trucks torque converter went out in the way home. I'm from Pensacola, FL, nearly 4.5hrs from the dealership. I contacted the dealership immediately to let them know do the issue. Finally, after several text and phone to my salesman, Anthony, weeks later their "sales manager" Perry contacted me with a solution to my problem. They offered to take the truck back on trade. That's great, thank you! (Wait, it gets better..) So, I found a close to comparable truck on their website to trade. Got a buyers order from them (Perry and Anthony) got my credit pulled AGAIN (it's been several weeks by this point) and a new loan for the trade. A before I was supposed to make the 9hr round trip journey to bring their broken truck back to them, I receive a cal with them telling me they sold the truck i just got the new loan for. More than frustrated by this point (2 months in) I called Ford corporate to see if I had any option for assistance. Once Perry "the manager" found out I contacted corporate for assistance, he pitched a fit and had his salesman (he didn't see the need to call me himself to tell me), call me to say "deals off. We aren't gonna do anything to help you because you called corporate for help" Basically he sent the message saying it's your truck and your issue to deal with now even tho it happened hours after purchasing it. That said $43k, hours of phone calls, text and emails with zero help later, I'm stuck with a $4,000+ transmission repair, among other issues with the truck they were made aware of, and no help from a "reputable dealer". With this kind of management practice and customer service, you'd be better off going to a buy here pay here lot and save yourself some money. Learn from my mistake of purchasing from Mac Haik Ford and STEER CLEAR OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AVOID THE FRUSTRATION THEIR DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND POOR FOLLOW UP CUSTOMER SERVICE. The buying experience was excellent. Our sales associate, Charles Taylor, was professional and attentive to our purchasing needs. That's where the the good customer service ended. The service department was horrible. Beginning with my interaction with the service advisor to the fact that you cannot make an appointment to bring your vehicle in to have a problem evaluated. You have to leave your vehicle so it can " get in line" to see seen. The first month I had my 2020 Expedition it was at the shop for almost 3 weeks . The old saying that service after the sale is the most important thing in buying a vehicle has never rang truer. I keep my new Expedition for less than 6 months because I never wanted to step foot in the service department again. read more

This is a review for the service department as I have not had any interaction with the sales staff. I'm never a huge fan of going to a car dealer for service as they generally charge more than most independent garages out there. I do believe they are worthwhile going to if you have an electrical problem as they have tools that only a few independent guys have. I usually feel they are able to better diagnose a problem. I have, at times, gone to a dealer to get the diagnosis and then gone to my preferred guys to get it fixed or do it myself. SO, with that said, I took my car here as 1) it is a Ford and 2) it had some very strange electrical issues. The service guy was really nice, very upfront on pricing, and very, very clear about what would and would not be done. He called me when there was something additional needed and had my car ready for me when he said it would be ready. Clear communication is always much appreciated. read more

In August, when my sister moved to Jackson, she took her 2017 Ford Escape (50,000ish miles). During orientation, the car started making a horrible noise. My dad took it to Mac Haik Ford Jackson. They got the car Aug 8 and returned it to us on Aug 19. They indicated it was a complicated fix involving a broken spark plug. It cost $544. On October 26, my sister said the car was making the same kind of noise. It was a Saturday so we had her take it to Firestone. They ran a diagnostic on it and said the engine had an internal coolant leak. Firestone said that it need to go to the Ford dealership but that the powertrain warranty should cover it so we were relieved. We rented a car. Oct 28- the car was in the service department at Mac Haik. My dad called - they told him that a few cars were in front of so it could take a few days to know exactly what was wrong. On November 7, my mom called Bubba Holley(the general service manager?) because Trey, the service manager kept not giving my dad a straight answer but that we were going to need a new engine and that the dealership had many 2017 escapes with the same problem. Bubba called back and said he had no information but he would find out. The next day he called to say they were waiting on parts. On Friday the 15th Bubba called my mom and told her that they had everything they needed to fix the car. So my mom extended my car rental yet again... this time hopeful for resolution. Yesterday (November 21), Trey told my dad that they didn't have the engine and had no idea when they would get it. So we currently are at their mercy as to when we will get the car back and we are definitely getting dishonest vibes. read more

While treating you like the village idiot and belittling you. If I were Mr. Watson I would be greatly concerned as each GM, and other people on my dealer's team is representing me, and Watson is liable for everything done in his name. Totally irresponsible to call your customers liars without investigating the situations. In fact, I am not a village idiot, and I have proof, and a lawsuit is in the works a Federal Lawsuit under United States Code. - Being the humble person that I am, I am waiting 30 days to give Watson a chance to humble themselves and make things right and stop treating me very poorly, belittle me and making false claims and calling me a liar. PS You guys do not realize that the average Joe is smarter than you give them credit for as we can see a scrubbed reputation a mile away and the funny part about it is when you lie and use your long history reputation as your defense. I went to Watson to compare the new Ford F150 to the Dodge Ram. I liked the truck but it was not what I had expected. Seemed like they have a good truck I just thought the Dodge was a better truck.
