Service here is AWFUL! They had my truck for over a month to tell me they could not find anything wrong! I went 3 weeks without an update. Called everyday and nothing. Finally got my Consultant (Daniel) who could have cared less promise to waive the diagnostic fees for my inconvience to charge me 2 weeks later and state that he did not recall the conversation. 2 mangers within the month they had my truck!!!! I called the dealership trying to find a quote on a part, the lady informed me that because the part was "hard to find" it would be around $2400. This price did not include labor which another department would have to tell me about. That department didn't answer the phone thankfully. I called another dealership and the entire job, parts and labor, was quoted at about $800. I will never use this dealership again. They have tried to overcharged me on several different occasions. SCAM Dealership! Had two modules in my vehicle both go out at 31,000 miles. Both modules were covered under warranty. "No Charge" They replaced one of the modules and snipped the wires to the other module. I was told that since the wires were snipped it wasn't covered and the repair cost was $437. No wires were snipped prior to dropping the car off!! I briefly spoke with the manager regarding this issue and he stated "Oh we don't do that here"and immediately sided with the mechanic without ANY PROPER investigation and stated "Well I'm not covering this!" (although it makes absolutely no sense as to why I would do this to my vehicle considering that the vehicle is currently under warranty and the module can simply be unplugged and replaced) STAY AWAY from this dealership! When I went to buy a car the staff was extremely rude, one girl by the name of Mary was extremely sweet and was very helpful but when she was taking the time to answer all my questions the manager was extremely rude to her to try and make her rush, another coworker by the name of Hayley was also rushing everything and she spoke to Mary on the side and I over heard Hayley telling Mary that I was "just some kid" and that she needed to hurry up and sell me a car and not help me as much as she was. Both staff and management were extremely rude and therefore I will not be buying a car from them in the future and that is how they lost my sale. Gray Daniels has had my truck since 5/6/21 for some me mechanical work and body work. The mechanical was done on 5/19/21 and as of today, 6/10 they had not even started on the body work. We were told the repairs would take about a week and told 2 weeks ago that it was going into the shop to be repaired. I went up there today to complain and they said they'd get right on it. I was told that our truck, a big diesel truck with lift kit and big rims, was mistake for a "service truck" and they never started on the work! Mind you we have been calling weekly about it and getting the run around, to find out today that the work was never started. It's seems that the original person was fired and they dropped the ball! BY FAR THE WORST DEALER/CUSTOMER experience I have EVER had with a dealership. I'm not just stating Gray Daniels. I'm saying all of Chevy in general. I rebuilt my credit to buy a 2020 ZL1 Camaro and started the search for the car in October 2019. Through many bad dealerships leaving bad tastes in my mouth I finally settled on Gray Daniels as I found the car I wanted their. From the get go their sales staff was very uneducated on their vehicles... Next. They where willing to sell it to me out from under another buyer when I said I would buy it with cash. Then when i decided to finance they made me wait to see if the other buyer was buying it. Next good news. The GM Darren or something like that restored my hope in Chevy (he later in this review just becomes another bad person hired by Chevy). He got me financing. I flew into the airport from across country. They picked Me up. Thing are going good but I'm super skeptical because it all seems shady from the moment I get their. Every sales guy was bragging about how nice the car is. Yayaya I don't really care. I'm regretting my flight at this time and even showing up at this place. And almost took a Uber to a hotel. Test drive went normal. Then I finally met probably the nicest person at the dealership. The finance manager. Only reason I still bought car was because this guy was kind.. now the problems start ... I noticed the tires where super bald before I left. I did say something and they assured me they where ok. While I understand that these tires are racing Supercar tires they assured me they where good. I trusted them. I get to Vegas and they are showing cords. And one is leaking. I take it to a Chevy dealership their to have the warranty on the tires done. They tell me that they are not even legal do drive on and both front and back tires are showing cords and that no way did 3500 miles of driving cause this. So I call Darren and he immediately accused me burning off the tires etc. and profiling me as a aggressive driver because I changed my last name to Camaro. When Im litterly scared of the power this car has and is very bumpy uncomfortable ride. I've drive it like a grandma most the way never once even chirping the tires. I told him I had not and he said they where not showing cords. I said some swear word in the conversation and he said he would not do anything because I swore and that he "would fly to Oregon " In a aggressive threat to me and to never call him again. I called a few more times. Said some choice words to him as he got more threatening . I have the all the conversations recorded. What he said and what I said. He refused to do anything to help me. My humble advice is to stay clear of the dealership. I was basically robbed. I was excited to possibly trade my Silverado in for a new Impala. While test driving the car for a few days, my truck was taken to detail, cleaned from front to back, new Gray Daniels tags and stickers placed on the truck and my belongings were "thrown away" and when I asked my salesman what happened.... he informs me that he is not sure how my keys got from his desk into the detail department. He apologized and states that I need to get a detailed list of my trucks contents and the dealership would reimburse me. I did just that, and a week and a half passes and the sales manager FINALLY contacts me and informs me that "I'm not going to like what he has to say" Gray Daniels says they are not responsible for a vehicles contents while on their property. So Apparently they have the right to get my keys from my salesmans desk, clean any and everything from my vehicle and "Trash" my items. Without a contract of sale! For 2 weeks I attempted to contact with Sr. management via Voicemail, email and stopping by........ Nothing!!!! I advise anyone to just stay away!! It just cost me $1200 to look at a car. We found a truck we liked. There was a hand-written sticker in the window with a good sale price. There were no notes about any special circumstances. When we got ready to sign the papers I realized that the amount was $1500 more than the sticker. I took my car to them Wednesday because it was sounding strange when I got to red lights. I called them back yesterday to see what they discovered. Come to find out it was the cam cover. The same cam cover that I had fixed at Gray Daniels last year (not to mention they kept my car for three days)! The guy even told me that it shouldn't be going out that fast. Duh! Last year it was still under the power train warranty. It's not covered anymore. And because GM covered it under their warranty I was told Gray Daniels doesn't warranty their work that they did on it. Pissed is an understatement!! Well, let me preface this by saying that most of the people at the dealership seemed to be friendly and tried to be helpful, but their execution and organization could definitely use a lot of help. I started by filling out a request for information form online to get someone to call me about a used vehicle on the lot (Just an FYI, do not ever do this unless you want a barrage of emails, marketing phone calls from some 3rd party firm and tons of other spam). Over half a day a later I get a call, seemed friendly enough and asked when I could come by. I showed up exactly when I said I would and when I got there, they attempted to sell me a vehicle that was not what I requested info for, maybe an honest mistake, told them I was not interested in that one, and they sought out the one I actually contacted them about. They did find the vehicle, but had no idea where the keys were, 1.5 hours later of sitting around waiting, I had to leave. They called me the next day to make me an offer on my trade and the deal sounded fair, but I needed to drive the vehicle first. When I got there, the sales person I was dealing with was not there, they had sold that vehicle and then attempted once again to sell me the same one I was not interested in... needless to say I took my business elsewhere, found a vehicle I wanted, got in and out of the other dealership with a deal in less time than I wasted on Gray-Daniels Chevrolet. If you want to come and sit for 2 hours while they "figure numbers on your trade" before you even get to look at the vehicle you want to see (after driving 2 hours to see it), then I reckon this is your type of car dealership. The truck we drove to see was loaded with crap like a homeless dude lived in it when he wasn't off being "an offshore guy". This is the most run around I've gotten anywhere, ever. On October 20, 2017 I brought my vehicle in for a broken dip stick tube and to replace a hitch plug. They did a diagnostic check which I didn't ask for. Spent 7 and a half hours waiting for them to repair a transmission dip stick tube, and repair hitch plug. I also needed a quote on four tires which took my service advisor Bob 5 hours. Got an estimate for over $2,300.00 in alleged work that needed to be done to include the tires. There was also a recall on the vehicle. After misinforming me that they didn't have the parts to fix the recall. The parts miraculously appeared. The Manager seems to be disconnected and is not managing this service center. Not concerned about his customers, and oblivious to what is going on in the service center. My service advisor sat at his station form 8:00 am until his lunch break at approximately 1:00 pm. Came back and sat right back down at his station until 3:00 pm. Waste of my time!! Would not recommend anyone bring their vehicle here unless you have a couple of days to sit in the waiting area so they can tell you they don't have any of the parts needed, and present you with an outrageous estimate on work you didn't even ask to have done. read more

The dealership has a great sales division. However, the service department is poor. They were dismissive of my concerns, not even addressing two issues that I wanted checked. They were difficult regarding the loaner vehicle and refused to give me one that was at least equivalent to my Chevrolet Impala Premier 2017, and they took an inordinately long amount of time to make the repair which was covered under warranty as, of course, this is a brand new car. I had to finally call them multiple times over several days to find out when my own vehicle was ready for pickup. Unacceptable. The two other issues I asked them to check out were not done at all and no reason for this was given even when I repeatedly asked. Unacceptable. We wanted information only about trading my previous car in for a newer one.. instead of just giving us the information, they pressured my husband and I into buying the new car and gave us reasons why it was a good idea. When we said no, they brought in other people to tell us that we were making a mistake when we said no and that the trade was the best option. Yes we should of just kept our answer, but we were there all day for info that we could of gotten in maybe an hour. They made us feel bad about saying no and pressured us. We are now in more debt because we are paying wayy more than what the car even costs and regret ever going there. The service department continues to have a problem with the meaning of 'service' - I had an appointment for a 20-40 minute process per the dealership - the appointment took over 75 minutes and I arrived on time for my appointment. I also asked them to simply check the PSI of my tires which they obviously did not do because as I pulled out the PS was 29-30 on each tire. I called back with a question ( to the 1-800 number which obvioulsy is handled out of the country) and then had to wait for them to connect me back top my service advisor - left a message around 2:00 on Friday - call returned Monday AM - I have other examples too just not sure it will do anything to change the 'service'. American Car companies have got to realize they underperform the imports hands down when it comes service. The service deaprtment is treated as cash cow by too many dealerships and they forget that their goal should be customer service - if you provide great service it will be reflected in the bottom line - I only wish Honda made an SUV similar in size to the Tahoe - read more

I took an entire day off to bring my truck in for 4 items: 1. oil change 2. fix passenger window switch 3. fix headlight 4. fix charge port on driver side dash the service manager made me spend an extra 30 minutes with him to 'make sure' we got everything on the sheet to fix. I was told that all of the items had been fixed, so i came up to pick up my car and paid for the items. When i got in the vehicle nothing but the oil had been changed and the window was fixed, i notified the service manager and he told me i could come back another day to have the other items fixed because he 'FORGOT' to tell the technicians. I deserve a service on these items for wasting my time, and bald face lying to me. It took their service technicians an entire day from 8 am to 5:00 pm to change my oil and fix my light? Then i was told i should take ANOTHER day off work and COME BACK to fix what was supposed to be fixed in the first place. Compare this with Paul Moak dealerships and the incredible customer service experience (I have bought a Subaru at Paul Moak) and now am planning on buying a second Subaru OUtback from them, not only is it a great vehicle (performance) but the incredible customer service is second to none.... nice waiting rooms, appointments for service, customer service lounge with drinks and a customer service rep stopping to check on you every 45 minutes or so if you are there that long at all, clean and well maintained. I have been a loyal Chevy Suburban customer for almost 30 yrs (7 suburbans) but you folks and many other dealers across the country cant compete with their service. First of all I am going to be blunt and get this off my chest... All salesmen at these dealerships are out to make commission doesn't matter if the person can pay a note or not.. I have been trying to get a vehicle from this dealership for over a month , been strung along asked 1000 questions and they were all the same, I transferred to my new job back at the end of April and been there every since, I make 16 and hr. and also have a night job been there for 3 years make about 600.00 a month doing that.. Well apparently I don't have enough income to make these new payments... WOW !!!!!!!!!!! I am paying for my Tahoe right at 600.00 a month and you tell me I cant afford it.... I am 35 years old I don't need a co-signer... So I let it go... 2 weeks later I get a call from a woman at the dealership stating that they are having this HUGE DEAL !!! I brought in a 2006 Chevy Tahoe for service on the air conditioner, check engine light and a recommended 100,000 mile service. It was done in a timely manner. I was very pleased. I do wish some of the people were alittle more friendlier but most of the employees are always very friendly too me. I would highly recommend this dealership service dept to anyone. My wife and I went to Jackson on July 26th (7-26-2013) car shopping. We went to Gray Daniels Chevrolet and test drove a couple of SUV's and decided to go to Watson Ford and look the Explorer; we then returned to Gray Daniels and settled on a used 2012 GMC Acadia. The overall buying experience was not bad; although, the figures quoted were different from the written quote. The Acadia had a dent in the rear hatch and we wanted it fixed and they agreed in order to complete the sale. We were to bring our SUV back the following Wednesday to have a dent Dr repair it, he could not and they had to send it to the body shop to have it repaired and they gave us a rental car. Sounds simple! This is where the fiasco began. It was supposed to be ready on Friday. Friday evening rolls around and since I had not heard from them I called Grady my salesman, he apologizes and tells me they have not even started the repair because he lost my keys and needs me to bring my other set and we did so the same day. He apologized and I told him it was fine. Wednesday is here and no call so I called and Grady said he had been trying to call me, I was surprised since I had no messages, missed calls, or voice mails. I told him I would come Thursday morning (8-8-2013). I arrived about 8:45am and he asked if I saw my car and I said no so he walked out with me to show me, I immediately asked where my license plate was and he replied "you have a tag?" and I said yes. He said let me call Jason and ask him. This process takes 2 hours. In the mean time he brought me my keys and an IOU so I could take it to the shop and get the key he lost programmed. After much agitation and his avoiding me I went to the sales manager and he assured me the guy was on the way with my tag. While Grady was putting was putting my tag on I notice how bad the repair job really was, NEW DEEP SCATCHES by my license plate. I questioned him and he said he didn't do anything in this area. Excuse me, if he didn't do anything in that area why did he take my license plate off and lose it. It turns out that they sent my car to some guy who fixed it in his carport (Aren't you a dealership with a body shop?) I am going to have one of my church members who owns a body shop repair it properly. I don't even know if unprofessional is the correct word to describe my thoughts of this dealership. So after calling multiple times this week about a recall on my vehicle, I was able to take my car in. Of course no rentals were available, so I ended up leaving my vehicle with a specific request to be notified when it was completed. I wasn't. I had to call and find out it had been complete and ready for pick up at closing time. Upon arriving, I overheard a man complaining about getting a new car serviced and having to come back a third time for more problems. That should have been my cue to expect the worse. Anywho, my car was driven up to me & left running where I was promptly told to have a good day. I never checked my car before driving off the lot - silly me trying to get my infant child out of 90 degree weather. After a 5 minute commute home - literally 5 minutes - I find I have a now blown tail light and a dead battery, absolutely nothing electrical worked. To add insult, when calling back the next day I was told 'what they fixed had nothing to do with it', and it was implied I killed my battery and that it wouldn't be able to be looked at until Monday (once again I can't be without a vehicle I have a 2 month old infant child.) And, If my battery was supposedly dead before I dropped it off to be fixed wouldn't decent curtesy be to tell me that upon pickup it had to be repeatedly boosted off with cables? Now I'm screwed out of extra money for a tail light and a battery (both of which were working perfectly fine) all because I took my vehicle in to be serviced on a recall for a default. I made an appointment via the phone. I specifically asked about pricing. She stated she would not be able to give me pricing until someone looked at my vehicle. This was understandable. I then inquired about an oil change and she quoted me $29. When I arrived to the dealership a gentleman checked me and showed me to the waiting room but never discussed rice with me. My ride showed up to pick me up and I asked if they could call me before doing anything to my vehicle. The rep said this would be no problem but I could expect $50 just to have the car looked at and $39 for an oil change. I said no one told me of a $50 charge and I was told it would be $29 for an oil change. The rep then told me I don't know why the phone service is quoting that price but you can go on the website and get a coupon. Which I did. Once u got home the rep called me with 1/2 a quote. He stated he did not have a quote for the other 10 things wrong with my car. I approved the oil change and fixing the breaks and asked him to call me with the price quote for the rest. This was around 4 pm. I never received a call back. At 1 pm the next day I called the direct service department line 3 times before I got an answer. The first call I left a message with Ted Smith, my service rep with no call back. The second time the receptionist answered and transferred me and no one answered. The third time I finally got through to Ted. He stated he still did not have a quote. I told him I would be there to pick my car up. I will not return to this service station nor buy a car from here as I felt the staff was rude and did not care if they had my business. read more
