This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in GP. I went there a while back with some friends for breakfast and the experience was so refreshing. Very friendly service and excellent food. Went back again and the outdoor seating was new and done very well. The whole place has a very social feel and I love it! Every time I eat there it feels so casual and comfortable and all that seems to only add to the experience. The food is fantastic. Lot's of organic and local ingredients make me feel good about what I'm ordering and tells me that they have a very wholesome perspective on food. I recommend the corned beef hash or the huevos rancheros. Both great dishes though I'm curious to try more of their specials. If you haven't made this a regular stop for breakfast or lunch then you totally should! read more

We got a great seat on the patio where we could bring the dog, the food was fresh, local, healthy and delicious. What a great find while traveling through Oregon! Stop here, and it's especially worth the few extra block trip off the highway if you're traveling through! My boyfriend and I have been here about 15 times in the past year and a half, and while the food is to die for, the service is absolutely terrible to the point where while we would come every weekend, we just cant. The worst was when we spent an hour sitting at the back bar near the front window waiting for our order to be taken, we stared, raised our hands, and kept our menus closed. We would have said something, only our waitress didn't come by when that was our last option. We left. This is only marginally worse than the usual service we get. Expect a wait due to the waitstaff not turning tables. If you're down to spend three hours eating, the food is sometimes worth it. Like I said, we would be here every weekend if it were feasible. read more

Hash it over is consistently delicious. House made gluten free bread is awesome. They always have great jam and I like the selection of salinity salts. I used to eat here a couple times a week and it never disappoints. Good food takes time. Just don't be an a**hole. Have a good attitude when you're out to eat or eat at home. read more

Great food and friendly service....but the food takes an extremely long time. I also noticed that locals get much faster service...which is fine but not when our food took twice as long and local patrons. It seemed like they forgot our order until we asked about it. Also the indoor seating is limited to about 27 spots and the seating is very tight and a bit claustrophobic. They offer outdoor seating and the street parking on a Sunday is ample. read more

First of all this is a small place with limited seating. The seating doubles when the weather is nice because of the outdoor seating. If you need to be served quickly try Denny's or perhaps the Black bear diner. There is a casual vibe here that the regulars understand completely. The food is excellent and The menu is unlike any other place you'll find in town and better. This is a place to come and relax chill out with your friends or family and enjoy the wonderful food. Great Breakfast and Brunch Spot. Visiting from out of town and followed some yelp reviews to try this place. It did not disappoint. This is not a huge restaurant. We went around 1 PM on a Sunday and it was still busy. Our wait was only 20 mins at most for 4 and a baby. Good food and a small amount of tables means, yes...you may have to wait during the busy hours. I can assure you that the staff isn't sitting on their hands. They were flying around the restaurant moving tables as fast as they could. In my humble opinion the food is worth the wait and this is a great breakfast spot. What a lovely place to grab a lunch bite. Food made from scratch and fresh ingredients hit the spot after too many greasy spoon diners on the road. We went on a sunny day and sat on the patio with our dog. I ordered the fish tacos which tasted great but the tortillas we soggy because of the sauce and salsa so had to eat it with a fork. Not a big deal. Nice touch with a lime wedge per taco. Everyone here was so friendly, too. By the way if you can't finish everything off your plate they'll just use it for compost! Love this spot and will definitely keep it on my list of roadside eateries off the I-5. read more

We stopped here just hoping to grab a bite of something not totally bland and questionable like what you'll find in heaps around Southern Oregon/Northern California. MaMosa's did not disappoint. They had an impressive selection of mimosa flavors (I ordered the blood orange) and tasty bloody Mary's --or make it a "Maria" by subbing tequila. The chicken and waffles are INCREDIBLE. Beer battered, crispy and flavorful chicken atop a fluffy, classic Belgian style waffle. I won't be getting over this meal for a while. The wait was a bit long but the staff was so nice and working hard. It was also nice to see that they were having fun; they all cheered every time a bottle of bubbly was opened every few minutes or so. Highly highly recommend! read more

I found out about Ma Mosa's through a Yelp search. It is a great place to find great food and friendly staff using local products. It IS very popular and can take a significant time for your order to arrive, but they do encourage you to order something like a biscuit and jam or another option they have marked as *quick* on the menu. It's a little slower and a little pricier, but it's not a fast food joint, so pull up a chair, order a drink and chill the heck out people! read more

Went to MaMosa's for breakfast on Sunday based on my daughter's recommendation. OMG breakfast was delicious. A bit different than your standard fair, and very quaint place. Biscuits were delicious, and the cheesy grits were so good I'm trying to plan my next trip through Grants Pass around stopping in for more. Stopping in is so worth it. If you have to wait for a table, just go grab a coffee at the Dutch Bros coffee house next door. read more
