Absolutely delicious sandwich! I got the pulled pork sandwich, with side of roasted potatoes. The meat was incredible. The sandwich had a great mix of flavors and plenty of aoli so it was not dry but perfect the way I like it. The potato's were soft and roasted to perfection. I really enjoyed the flavor of their coffee too. Took a while to get our meal but it tasted so good I did not even mind the wait. We had reservations for Mother's Day today and when we arrived there was only one person working the kitchen and the dining area. His staff had all called out on this special day. I met a couple friends here for lunch and it was a delight. The restaurant is very small and has a limited menu but WOW! The food is awesome. I had the Monte Curto. It is a cross between a sandwich and French toast. The bread was yummy thick artisan honey wheat bread filed with ham, bacon, Turkey and a berry compote then dusted with powered sugar. I opted for the house salad side which was made up of crisp micro salad mix with cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes and pickled onions. One of my friends had the grilled cheese off the kids menu and it was a gourmet version of a grilled cheese. Artisan bread. She said it was great. My other friend had the vegetarian. Again artisan bread piled high with a mix of veggies. My friends both opted for fruit for their side. It was a mix of melon and strawberries. The fruit was cut to meet the order not a mix that had been precut and setting in the refrigerator. On the day we visited there was only the owner on duty. And yes, that meant the service was a little slow as he was doing everything but it was not much longer a wait than at many other diners I have visited. He was pleasant. And the food was well worth the short wait. The decor was very pleasant and the dining area spotlessly clean. I will be going back here often. read more
