    Egg burrito

Small, cozy eatery, only open until late afternoon (but they serve their breakfast items all day) so plan accordingly Great staff, diverse menu, would eat there again

Monte Christo with gluten free biscuit & Tuscan Benedict! AMAZING!!! I wanted the coffee cheesecake too... next time!!!! Owners are amazing and sweet! Service was wonderful even though they were busy. Cute ambiance. Love this place!

Just went in for my second time today after having such an awesome experience before. I was so excited to dig in I forgot to take a picture this time I got a different sandwich this time with another soup of the day and my partner got the French toast. Both dishes had us happy dancing until we finished our plates! Always fantastic friendly service and groovy music too! We will be back!

    Monte curto

We had a great brunch here! We both ordered the monte curto and it didn't disappoint! The sandwich was not super sweet and had a nice salt balance. Would get again! Super efficient service despite only one server for the whole place.

Gluten free friendly. Highly recommend if you're in grants pass. Chefs wife is celiac so it's safe. Enjoyed the friendly Saturday atmosphere. Good food. Good atmosphere. Has a tv shown BMX which was interesting. We also got a GF coffee cake to go. Looks so decadent.

Best muffaletta I ever had. Bread was amazing. Whole family loved their food. Wife had the vegetarian sandwich and also loved it.

I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, asked for it on the rarer side since you never know with steak), and it came out perfect -- great char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Exactly how it should be. Also... don't skip the specials on the chalkboard there's always something worth trying. And the crepe berqueno is AMAZINGGG -- seriously out of this world. In my opinion, it's the best savory crepe ever. I always customize mine by adding egg and avocado and it never misses. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Him and his son Brandon take great care of their guests and make you feel like more than just a customer. Service can be a little slower at times, but honestly... give them grace. They're balancing a busy spot, connecting with locals, and creating a really welcoming vibe. It feels lived-in, not rushed -- and that's part of the charm. Nothing but love for this place. ‍

Being harassed for leaving honest reviews about experiences shouldn't be happening on this platform. It doesn't help at all. There's plenty of reviews stating similar nuances. It can be improved. Honorable mentions The bloody Mary with the dill salt and white chocolate blondie WERE AMAZING. Staff were so friendly too!! But....BUT. We waited almost 40 min for food after ordering :/ we both had breakfast burritos that were just very average tasting. They did comp my Bloody Mary and the desert but man oh man that wait for the food was crazy and it wasn't a packed house either. In total after we left we had spent three hours there: waiting for table, waiting for food, eating it and finishing. We intended for a lot less time there. This was a Saturday. Maybe there's a problem going on in the kitchen or not having a food runner. Not sure ! Mediocre food for an absurd long. Unfortunately I will be back for that dill slat rim Bloody Mary. But not worth the wait for the food.

Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.

The caprese salad was excellent with fresh flavorful burrata, cherry tomatoes lightly dressed in oil and garlic, balanced balsamic, arugula, microgreens, and edible flowers -- thoughtful and elevated. The bacon-wrapped filet special was one of the most tender steaks I've had in a long time, and we were told it came from a local butcher. The mahi mahi tacos were juicy and well-cooked, though warm or toasted tortillas would make them even better. It would be great to see more detail on the menu about local sourcing. As a visitor, that makes the experience feel even more special. Looking forward to stopping in again someday!
