After arriving at my new condominium, my cat became temporarily misplaced. I asked the movers to stop while I searched because I could no longer supervise the move. Instead, they loaded a substantial portion of my belongings onto their trucks and removed them without my knowledge or authorization. Those items were supposed to remain in my condominium, not be taken to storage. I never requested storage, signed a storage agreement, or authorized storage charges. After I filed my BBB complaint, the company claimed I owed approximately $4,000 in storage fees. I never received a storage invoice, billing statement, demand for payment, or any documentation supporting those alleged charges, and I dispute that I ever agreed to storage. For years, I tried in good faith to recover my belongings. Despite repeated emails and requests, I was never provided with documentation supporting the claimed storage charges or explaining the authority under which my belongings were retained. As late as August and September 2025, I was assured my property was "safe and secure." I relied on those assurances, only to later receive an email from the owner stating that my belongings had been donated without my knowledge or consent. Among those belongings were my dearly loved late mother's cremated ashes, irreplaceable family heirlooms lovingly created by my parents, treasured photographs, jewelry, personal records, and other priceless possessions. I continue to request a complete accounting of what happened to my property, including when, where, how, and under what authority it was disposed of. I encourage consumers to carefully review all documentation, ask questions, and proceed with caution before hiring this company.

Matt stated "you had more items to move than you told me over the phone" I will say there was one glass whiteboard ($1,500.00) piece, that I might have forgotten to mention. I will also say he didn't come look at the move or send someone prior. The white board Didn't matter much because they completely shattered It. Left glass in the room they shattered It in where my 2 dogs go in and out of their dog door. **ITEMS SO FAR IDENTIFIED TO BE DESTROYED** 82" flat screen tv $(2,400.00) lines across the screen destroyed LG 49 inch ultra wide ($3,500.00) same thing lines across the screen destroyed. Not to mention the 3 or 4 55,65,& 75" inch tv's I haven't plugged in yet because the chords are MIA. Not to hopeful about those. My huge book cases (3500.00 - 4,500.00) gouged, ruined, and now look like used furniture from good will. My automated desk sit/stand (2,000.00) gouged , destroyed. Somehow gauged heat sealed powder coating off of It. Custom steel backyard furniture from CC COUTURE. So durable... strapped outside the moving truck.. gouged black powder coated paint off of it. This furniture set was ($15,000.00) A foot massaging device I purchased for my fiancé.. ($250.00)chord ripped straight in half. It is the thickness of an extension chord.. how is this even possible? They even found a way to literally destroy a STEEL shelf $(2-300.00) It is bent??? These things hold so much weight. I don't know how this could happen. Destroyed our bed frame($1750.00) and it's finish, did not put It back together correctly, finish totally ruined now looks like goodwill furniture. Nothing was strapped down.. just smashing around in the truck. I viewed this when the truck was opened at my new home. I would recommend 2 fellas moving if you plan on moving your hard earned and cherished furniture to the dump. I said to Matt if you replace the whiteboard I will let this all go. He offered. Half the value and I stated "I am being generous, beyond generous where I should be." He then offered to cover the $1,499.00 replacement cost. I told him he would have to cover the sales tax and deliver cost as well and at this point he refused. I am pursuing this company legally for multiple things from the difference in cost burden from the quote to what they actually charged as well as for every piece of furniture he destroyed. Tim and his staff were very gracious in being able to help me twice in essentially the same week for both moves I had, going to and from the same locations. I appreciate him and his company for their help and I plan on reaching out if I ever end up having another domestic move here in the future! As a side note, he charges/quotes based on the furniture you have over hours of service. I found this to be cheaper than other companies out there (especially if you just have one room of furniture like I did) so he's really nice for smaller moves like mine and I recommend him as well because of this. He even helped my mom take an old TV stand to consignment for us which was very much an appreciated favor of his company with the original job and furniture that I had with him.

I provided 200' of rope and they told me they didn't need to tie anything down because "the van was packed tight!" Umm wrong! They knew I was traveling 1800 miles across 7 states. Because of their shitty work, nearly every single piece of furniture I own was scratched or damaged. They were so proud they fit everything on, only they didn't tell me that they basically threw my stuff in as though it were garbage going into one giant trash can. Unbelievable! I've filed complaints with multiple state agencies because of their negligence and the damage they caused. Additionally James stood next to me and strong-armed me into inputting the payment code because the job was "done." What they don't tell you is you don't have to input the payment code until you arrive and see it went ok, which in my case, it clearly did not. So they got paid for a hack job. Lastly, $140 went missing from my wallet while they were there. My bad - I hid my purse in the closet and forgot to lock the door.

We explained to James our situation and he was very understanding and accommodating. The moving crew arrived and packed everything into the pods that we didn't need. They did a stellar job in organizing each pod and maximizing the space in each. The night before the pods were to be picked up, James and crew came back a second time to pack up the essentials that had to remain out until the last minute. I thought it was an amazing level of customer service that they would be willing to show up on two separate days in consideration of our special circumstances. My family and I appreciate the professionalism, dedication and awesome customer service of Small Time Moving and when we move again, I'm asking if they'll make a special trip to New Mexico to pack us up again! Fair pricing and they don't waste your time to get an extra buck. Last Spring, they helped us move into our apartment. We were driving to AZ from another state and at around 3AM with 3 hours of driving left, we realized we were really going to need help to unload our U-Haul truck in about 9 hours. The guys met us at our apartment and unloaded our truck in the heat quick! We couldn't have done it without them, especially with the stairs! Today, Tyler and Todd helped us move some items from our self-storage. They must us with their truck, loaded, and drove to our house to unload. Friendly guys and handled our items with care. My son and I injured ourselves recently, so Tyler and Todd helped us immensely moving everything. We 100% recommend Precision Moving and will be using them again with our future plans! We've had nightmares with commercial movers (broken items, missing items) and are relieved to have found these guys!
