Quick response to my plumbing leak, with accurate diagnosis of the problem, and repair was reasonably priced. This company actually is now Urban Design. Nice job! read more

MD plumbing came out to help with my water heater. They came on time, were extremely friendly & helpful. Their tech Randy was fast, thorough & helped me deal with our warranty company (which saved me over $800)! Though I don't want any more plumbing issues, when they do arise, I'd love to have MD plumbing back in my home! read more

I've had MD come out twice now for home warranty stuff and they were amazing each time. Fast response time, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm a perfectionist who takes pride in any work I perform and I expect the same when someone is doing work for me. MD Plumbing definitely didn't disappoint. I would absolutely recommend them and will only deal with them in the future and since my house is from the Nixon administration I'm confident I'll be contacting them more. read more

Always our go-to plumbers. We have had some emergency situations, and they came through with the assistance we needed.

I recently had M.D. Plumbing do several plumbing repairs at a home I own in Chico. Work was done well, done efficiently and at a lower cost than I had expected. read more

Had MD install new hot water heater recently. Very pleasant experience and affordable. Very happy with communication and Randy's installation. Highly recommended. read more

Love this plumber. It is a husband/wife business. They show up when they say they will and their fees are reasonable. They do not do work you don't need. Honest and reliable. I won't use anyone else. read more

Randy installed a new toilet rim seal for us this week. Confronted with an unpleasant and overdue task, he worked efficiently and did an excellent job. There was no follow-up cleanup for me to do. Randy is fastidious. He was pleasant to have in our home, but he wasted no time before moving on to his next job. Our family has chosen MD Plumbing as the only one we will call now. read more

Our sink was leaking and this was the company our Insurance set an appointment with. In the mean time we wrapped plumbers tape where the leak was coming from. When they came out they did nothing. Looked at it and said it was fine. We explained that we just did a quick patch job. They said "That's what they would have done". By this point the drywall and cabinet were soaked. MD closed the claim with Insurance stating everything was fixed. Very frustrating situation. read more

I was so pleased with these guys. Found them through our home warranty program and they were super prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and the price was reasonable. It was late on a Friday when our water heater stopped working and I was afraid we'd have no hot water all weekend. The owner sent over a mechanic so fast I was blown away and he quickly assessed the problem and got it back up and running. Also gave me some helpful pointers of what to watch for in our aging unit. I would definitely recommend them! read more

These are good people... I called at lunch, they showed up at 4:00 as promised, and after looking at my water heater, told me to stay with the system I had. He could have bid the job and done it, but he told me to save my money. This is the kind of vendor that I will call whenever I need help. read more

This company was sent to me by a Home Buyers Protection Company. I now use them for all my needs on my home and rental properties. Great to deal with. Melanie in the office is accommodating and tries very hard to get to you as soon as possible. The workers are knowledgeable, show up on time and clean up after themselves. read more

Phenomenal service - if I could give 10 stars, I would. We've had MD Plumbing come to our house twice in the past 18 months - once for a kitchen plumbing issue, and once with an outside faucet issue. Both times, they showed up on time, did a GREAT job, were extremely reasonable and very friendly. I could not ask for better service. Randy showed up both times and got the job done quickly, efficiently and very effectively, all for a great price. I could not ask for a better plumber, and I'm pretty picky. Just can't say enough good things about this firm - highly highly recommended. read more

Fair warning! MD Plumbing did the plumbing on my new home. He dropped a worker off on his very first day with two minutes of instruction that I had to explain everything to and watch his every move, failed to install items contracted for, and almost never supervised the job. His employee started a fire in the wall and the house would have burned down had My friend and I not shown up after lunch. We had to tear the sheetrock out in several places to repair faulty work after the house was built. The owners, Don and Melanie Carstensen, were arrogant, rude, and all that seems to make a difference to them is their money and to heck with workmanship and customer fairness in my opinion. I wrote the whole nightmare story at http://www.chicoplumbingcontractors.com if you really want to hear more of my opinions on their company. read more
