Had an underground leak by the water main. They dug down and found a broken irrigation manifold that continued to leak due to a faulty shutoff value. Quick response and same day resolution. Friendly and professional. Will use again. read more

Never got me the bid I asked for. Didn't seem like he wanted the work. Told me to YouTube the job.

Today was the 2nd time I've called Tom. This man works hard and will do his best to fit you in if your need is high, like mine was today. The toilet was plugged and my old time tricks didn't seem to work. Five minutes later, the plug was clear and tested. Thanks a million, Tom! read more

They replaced all of the plumbing under my house 5 years ago an I'm still fixing problems from it.

Got in touch with Tom on a Sunday, he told me a time he could appear on Monday, followed through on his word, stuck to the price he quoted me even though a bit more needed to be done on my garbage disposal replacement than originally thought, and was done in 30 minutes. Amazing customer experience. Don't go anywhere else, seriously. read more

Buy a home, they said. It'll be fun, they said. All joking aside, I encountered a front yard underground pipe leak mere days after purchasing my home. My frugal self attempted to repair the leak on my own - bad idea. Fortunately, Yelp pointed me in the direction of Absolute Best Plumbing. I can confirm that this company lived up to their namesake. I found Tom and crew to be efficient and professional. They initially stopped by and he let me know (free of charge) how to fix the leak myself with a $10 Home Depot plumbing part and a little elbow grease. As grateful as I was for the complimentary advice, I opted to have his crew perform the fix as I was worried I'd end up causing more harm than good had I attempted to continue fixing myself. It's rare to see a small business owner dish out free advice so I was very appreciative of that. Tom and crew were able to professionally and promptly repair the leak. I found them to be friendly and polite. The pricing was fair and the payment process was simple. I appreciated how they provided a one year warranty, too. In a town of many plumbing companies, I'm grateful to have chosen Absolute Best. They got the job done and provided me with peace of mind. read more

Absolute Best Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me

Very prompt responses and on time. I thought we had a leak but Tom checked everywhere and didn't find anything. I always fear that my lack of knowledge of plumbing or electrical or mechanical will be taken advantage of. Tom's honesty will keep me loyal and I'll refer all my friends. read more

Although Tom was very busy, he responded right away for a drain issue. He was patient, communicative, efficient, and careful about not tracking mud inside. He explained that work I thought needed doing, was in fact not needed. Saved me a lot of money. I think his company is great! read more

I had a problem with the ancient sewer line for my house. A very well known company had come out to work on the line and only partially replaced the line and had much difficulty in getting the job done which did not include replacing the entire line. Soon enough , I needed the rest of the line replaced and E's had to know that just a partial replacement wasn't going to last . For those interested sewer line material back in the 60's was essentially wood fiber, adhesive and coal tar pitch prone to collapse over time. I fortunately found Absolute Best Plumbing by searching online and thought I would take a chance and get an estimate. Talking to Tom during that estimate had me confident that he was the man for the job. Price competitive, fast repair , and no issues after the job was done. I know who I will count on for any other plumbing issues. read more

WOW..... Great service. I will be a return customer and would highly recommend. I contacted them very early in the morning not expecting a response until later. Tom responded to my message right away & came out to my house shortly after. They were extremely professional, honest and fair. Couldn't have asked for a better service. I will be only using this company from now on. Thank you !!!!! read more

Tom has been out multiple times to help us with issues in an older house that we are renting. Time and time again, he has done great work, been at our house quickly, and charged very reasonable rates. I would highly recommend using his services. He is an extremely nice and honest man as well. I feel you can really trust him. read more

11/10 service, showed up on time with a call ahead of time to let us know they were on their way, fast and friendly and quality service at a reasonable price. read more

Had trouble with both toilets, one totally unusable. Turned off the water to broken toilet. Called next morning and got an appointment . He and his apprentice came, knew what was needed and both toilets operable. He was in the middle of large installation out of town but didnt hesitate to fit me in. Very friendly and explained problems in layman's terms. Extremely happy and i now have the plumber i will always call for any future needs. read more

Tom responded right away to my emergency plumbing needs. He got his guys out by the same afternoon. They were quick and did a great job and his prices were super reasonable. Will definitely use Absolute Best Plumbing in the future, they were professional, and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend them! read more

We have used Absolute Best a few times and they have been fine. We had a shower leak and called them. They came over and told us that we needed to cut a whole in the wall and replace the unit and do some other things and quoted us $950. They didn't even take anything apart to see what was wrong. It seemed like way too much and we called another plumber (Accurate Plumbing). They took the handles off and found it only needed a washer, saving us over $800. I won't be using Absolute Best again. read more

I'm late writing this, but a few weeks ago I had an issue with leaking under my sink. I had called around the area to a couple other companies and they one quoted $80 and another $280 for an estimate which would be included in repair cost if I hired them, which I was fine with. Then I called Absolute Best Plumbing and not only did they offer a free quote, but were able to come out pretty quickly. When Tom arrived he took a look and told me that what I had was such a common issue, and would be easy to fix myself. It was a simple connection issue regarding the sprayer hose. He explained to me what part I would need, found it and sent it to me over text, and explained exactly what steps to do to fix it. He even offered to walk me through the steps over the phone if I needed assistance while fixing it. I can't thank him enough for not only doing a kind service by not taking advantage of the situation for his financial gain, but going above and beyond to make the situation right. I am a single parent so this meant a lot to me. Imagine if I had paid $80 or $280 for a $10 part and a 10 minute fix! If I need repairs in the future that I can't fix I will definitely be giving these guys a call. read more

My disposal stopped working about 3 days ago. My extensive training in sink repair led me to look straight down the sink drain and conclude "Yup, it's busted." So I got on yelp and starting asking for quotes online. One company refused to give me a quote online so I passed. My next stop was Absolute Best Plumbing. Tom gave me a quote and communicated with me online shortly after I sent in the request. I felt the quote was a reasonable approximate price so I scheduled an appointment online for the same day a couple of hours later. Tom showed up early, even going so far as to send a message through yelp right before he arrived. This is nice because my office is in the garage and sometimes I don't hear the front door (I know; I'm going deaf). Tom found the problem and fixed it immediately, and since it was such an easy fix he took the time to show me exactly what to do next time. He also found an issue with a related appliance and fixed that as well. All for a very reasonable price. He even offered to tighten the fixtures on my sink as part of the service (very polite). SO: 1. Deals well with customers quickly and online 2. Gives accurate quotes based on his experience 3. Shows up early and gives notice before he arrives 4. Does the work quickly and within cost of the quote 5. Explains what is wrong, and shows you how to fix it in the future 6. Capable of recognizing other issues and offers to fix those for a reasonable price. 7. Was friendly when he arrived. 8. Shook my hand and said have a good day. Excellent experience all around. Great customer service. Great personality and reasonably priced. How could you ask for more? I don't think I need to look any further for my plumbing needs. read more

I cannot rave enough about Tom's services and the job he did!!! We called him on a Sunday due to a main line backup... he was at our door within an hour. Unfortunately the line to our septic tank was shot. (The house is pretty old). He was able to set up an appointment to come out at 8:00 am the next morning and he and his team worked all day digging up and replacing the line. By the time we got home from work we were able to take a much needed shower and use the plumbing again. They came out the next day and filled the whole back in, working in the rain all day. On top of the amazingly quick turnaround, very reasonable pricing, and spectacular service he went out of his way to research costs to connect to sewer and find out where we would need to connect. I can not recommend Tom and Absolute Best Plumbing enough. Will never call another plumber again!! THANK YOU!! read more

I'm pretty sure it's a good company but one of the employees feels the need to skip the mask requirement at the gas station.

This review is after our second service using this company. Both were a positive experiences. I had a toilet replaced the first time and recently they came out to fix a cracked pipe/ joint on a leaky spigot in my front yard. Very knowledgeable and professional. My fee came under the original quote too! read more

I just had these gentlemen to my home and am so impressed as to how professional they were. The explanation of what was going on as well as the best way to address it was eloquently explained. The quote was exactly what I was charged, and they even put down paper to protect my new hardwood flooring, unasked. Use them. I promise you'll be glad you did. read more

Tom was amazing! Truly great guy that cares about your needs, not his wallet. Tom, installed our kitchen faucet and gave us an estimate for another plumbing issue that was caused by a sloppy plumber. Tom saved us money on his estimate, he gave the truth about what actually needed to be done, not extra unnecessary labor costs. Oh and he gave us a 15% discount. One last thing. Tom and his assistant were very friendly and caring. He treated us like family. Tom will give you his best everything. Attitude, price, and service. Call Tom, you'll be glad you did. read more

Our go-to plumber. We started with calling Tom for small problems with our aging home. He was the most trustworthy and cost-effective. Then, we hired them to replace our plumbing and connect from septic to sewer. Great work all around. Tom is straightforward and honest and hires people on his team to meet the high standards he gives his clients. Highest recommendation! read more

Can't recommend this company enough. Tom and crew are awesome. We've used them for a few jobs in the past and have them lined up for more work. We recently had a small job scheduled but their crew was delayed due to an unexpected issue with another job. Rather than cancel or reschedule, they still showed up after hours and got the job done with a great attitude. Highly recommended! read more

Absolutely the best plumbing services! Responds quickly, always fair and very professional. Guaranteed great work!

Tom kicked ass! Got here within a few hours a fix a busted pipe in the yard. Nice guy very reasonable prices.

Tom was the first to respond to my yelp request. Immediately made plan for same day even though it was after his business hours. Showed up on time. Found out problem with our broken water heater right away. Then gave us a part # to call around for a Better price than he could get.. when we went able to find one, he called around and had it sent from Redding the same day and fixed it by that same evening. Nobody can top this guys dedication and reliability. His price was more than fair and his work was done fast! Thanks Tom!! read more

Tom and Pedro showed up in less than an hour on a holiday and fixed a serious leak on our main pipe. Admittedly, I caused the leak. They cut a small hole in the sheet rock and patched the leaking pipe in probably 20 minutes. Great price for an emergency call! Humble and cool local business. Looking into doing some upgrade in the future and I will definitely be calling Tom. Thanks Tom and a happy 4th of July! read more

This is the 2nd time we have used the services of Absolute Best Plumbing. The name is a perfect description of what to expect from Tom and his crew. I couldn't get a bolt loose on a toilet seat I was replacing. Tom managed to squeeze my request to replace the seat into his schedule the same day. The crew was here when I was told they would be here and the job was completed without any issues. They are definitely the "go to" plumbers in the Chico area. read more

New Year's Day, 8AM, phone promptly picked up! Tom asked me to text me my address, so that he could let me know arrival time. He called me a few hours later, showed up wearing a mask, and was great with my dogs! He promptly diagnosed the problem and fixed it, all at a reasonable rate for a holiday. He even loaned a blower to help dry the area where leakage had occurred. Truly great! read more

I have to thank my lucky stars this company exist. My youngest stuck a toy cell phone down the toilet and I called everyone trying to find a reasonable quote. My man Jared came and helped us out and didn't give up. He took the time and got it out! read more

I just had Tom & Meyer do a complete replumb under my house and let me tell you they are the best people to work with. Their work is superior to none. The next time you need any plumbing work be sure to make them your first call. read more

These guys are great! They reponded quickly, arrived on time, were professional and polite and checked out my problem--even though the leak had mysteriously stopped! I contacted them to let them know I no longer seemed to have a leak, but they were near my house and checked it out anyway. I really appreciated their help, and will certainly call them again if and when my water heater starts leaking again! read more

By far the best service I've ever received. Literally the name says it all. This is the second time I have used Absolute Best Plumbing and as far as I am concerned will use only them for any future work. I bought our house in June of last year and have a Home Guarantee. Had a break in the back yard sprinkler system, paid the $75.00 fee and a company was assigned to fix. Company came without notice and no one was home. Tried several times after that and no response. Finally called Absolute Best and they came out the same day and fixed the line the way was supposed to be. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST! read more

We called Tom and asked for an estimate for low water pressure in the shower. I couldn't believe it when he said he would be here in 45 minutes! Tom diagnosed the problem and said he would have to cut into the wall to get the sediment out of the pipes and flush the line. He was back in two days and finished all the work, along with putting my wall back together and putting sheet rock over it again. You can't even tell the wall had anything done to it!!! Great price and super knowledgeable. We won't call anyone else! Super honest guy! read more
