I had a problem with the ancient sewer line for my house. A very well known company had come out to work on the line and only partially replaced the line and had much difficulty in getting the job done which did not include replacing the entire line. Soon enough , I needed the rest of the line replaced and E's had to know that just a partial replacement wasn't going to last . For those interested sewer line material back in the 60's was essentially wood fiber, adhesive and coal tar pitch prone to collapse over time. I fortunately found Absolute Best Plumbing by searching online and thought I would take a chance and get an estimate. We have used Absolute Best a few times and they have been fine. We had a shower leak and called them. They came over and told us that we needed to cut a whole in the wall and replace the unit and do some other things and quoted us $950. They didn't even take anything apart to see what was wrong. It seemed like way too much and we called another plumber (Accurate Plumbing). They took the handles off and found it only needed a washer, saving us over $800. I'm late writing this, but a few weeks ago I had an issue with leaking under my sink. I had called around the area to a couple other companies and they one quoted $80 and another $280 for an estimate which would be included in repair cost if I hired them, which I was fine with. Then I called Absolute Best Plumbing and not only did they offer a free quote, but were able to come out pretty quickly. When Tom arrived he took a look and told me that what I had was such a common issue, and would be easy to fix myself. It was a simple connection issue regarding the sprayer hose. He explained to me what part I would need, found it and sent it to me over text, and explained exactly what steps to do to fix it. He even offered to walk me through the steps over the phone if I needed assistance while fixing it. I can't thank him enough for not only doing a kind service by not taking advantage of the situation for his financial gain, but going above and beyond to make the situation right. I am a single parent so this meant a lot to me. Imagine if I had paid $80 or $280 for a $10 part and a 10 minute fix! My disposal stopped working about 3 days ago. My extensive training in sink repair led me to look straight down the sink drain and conclude "Yup, it's busted." So I got on yelp and starting asking for quotes online. One company refused to give me a quote online so I passed. My next stop was Absolute Best Plumbing. Tom gave me a quote and communicated with me online shortly after I sent in the request. I felt the quote was a reasonable approximate price so I scheduled an appointment online for the same day a couple of hours later. Tom showed up early, even going so far as to send a message through yelp right before he arrived. This is nice because my office is in the garage and sometimes I don't hear the front door (I know; I'm going deaf). Tom found the problem and fixed it immediately, and since it was such an easy fix he took the time to show me exactly what to do next time. He also found an issue with a related appliance and fixed that as well. All for a very reasonable price. He even offered to tighten the fixtures on my sink as part of the service (very polite). I cannot rave enough about Tom's services and the job he did!!! We called him on a Sunday due to a main line backup... he was at our door within an hour. Unfortunately the line to our septic tank was shot. (The house is pretty old). He was able to set up an appointment to come out at 8:00 am the next morning and he and his team worked all day digging up and replacing the line. By the time we got home from work we were able to take a much needed shower and use the plumbing again. They came out the next day and filled the whole back in, working in the rain all day. On top of the amazingly quick turnaround, very reasonable pricing,and spectacular service he went out of his way to research costs to connect to sewer and find out where we would need to connect. We called Tom and asked for an estimate for low water pressure in the shower. I couldn't believe it when he said he would be here in 45 minutes! Tom diagnosed the problem and said he would have to cut into the wall to get the sediment out of the pipes and flush the line. He was back in two days and finished all the work, along with putting my wall back together and putting sheet rock over it again. You can't even tell the wall had anything done to it!!!
