He said he makes sure that the car is back within factory tolerances on the body and he even blends the paint on both sides so it doesn't look like a repair. The color was a great match and nothing stands out between original and repaired. Jennifer was great with coordinating with insurance to make sure that we received new quality original parts on our low mileage and garaged vehicle, rather than settling for older salvaged parts that were unacceptable for the condition of our car. Our VW looks new again! The VW dealership even said it looks as if it was never in an accident, and they see a LOT of body and paint work come through their shop. I take great pride in maintaining and ensuring that my car stays and looks as clean as possible. Coming home from work one day, a truck blew its tire which smashed into the front of my car, leaving behind the remnants of what had once been my beautiful bumper. I got in touch with my insurance who informed me that I could get it repaired, and that I could choose my own shop. After looking through some reviews on Yelp, as well as a friend referral, I decided to check out Kustom Auto Body. I stopped by the shop after making an appointment to see what my options were. Matt was professional, friendly, and down to earth. He certainly knew his stuff, and after looking at my bumper recommended that it should be replaced. I ended up going with a bumper which required a bit of "kustom" work to get it to fit, and Matt along with his team did an excellent job. Not only did Matt do an amazing job installing my aftermarket bumper, but he even spot painted my rear bumper and deck lid which had peeling paint. After seeing the finished product, I can assure you that Matt has an eye for detail and takes great pride in his work. I would highly recommend checking out Kustom Auto Body in Eugene. Even though my insurance paid for everything, Matt's pricing for labor and paint were more than fair, and were far less than what other places would have charged. I would trust Matt with any job I could think of, and I know I'll be back in the future.

It was a terrible day because the door was smashed so badly it wouldn't open, and the rear door wouldn't open either. I chatted with some friends to see where they'd had collision work done, and the first place I called told me it would take months to fix. Another friend mentioned Autobody Specialties, so I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, they said they could get it done in a couple of weeks, depending on shipping. After that, I just confirmed with my insurance company where I was getting the work done, and ten days later, the car was ready. Of course, when I drove, I noticed another part wasn't working right, which I hadn't noticed in the original repairs. But they took it in and replaced the part with one they had in stock in just a few hours. They also updated the repair estimate with my insurance company for no extra cost to me. Overall, I'm really happy with how quickly the repair was done, and the paint job matches the original paint perfectly, which I was worried about because my car is black with a glittery finish.
