I was referred to Diamond Auto Body by a trusted auto mechanic who was helping me Somewhat restore a 90's era truck that was sentimental and I needed some paint/body work done to it it to prevent further deterioration but didn't really justify in my mind the full "back to new" type of job or expense. I thought what I needed was a quick bit of grinding and sanding and some primer and then I would be safe to cover over my issue with my chrome pieces and other accessories and all would be good. I was grateful to learn that to give me the piece of mind I was looking for, assuring the rust wouldn't be an issue right away, he needed to be more thorough than what I was thinking and that it would require paint and clear coat or I'd be wasting my time and money because the primer, even tho I'm covering it and won't be seen, is way too porous to protect the metal by itself. Long story short, this gentleman performed magic on my truck! Not only do I not have to worry about rust haunting me down the road, the paint matches perfectly (which has to be a challenge on a tan color from the 90's) and he was able to get it done for me quickly thru his shop. He even re did the pin striping on the sides to boot! All the while, doing everything he could to keep the cost down for me. So appreciated! This is actually an addendum to my original review...I was pleased beyond belief with the work restoring my car to what it was before my accident; however, there was an issue with the driveability and I took my vehicle to my dealership to have the alignment dealt with (expecting to pay for the service myself). They determined it was something to be handled by Diamond Auto Body, who gladly took my car back and dealt with all the issues I was concerned with and DID NOT CHARGE ME for anything! Their guarantee means just what they said. I will recommend Diamond Auto Body for all things dealing with body work, because they go above and beyond. VERY satisfied with their work and their word. I brought in an old 1990 Toyota Carolla station wagon with a lot of front end damage...it was my wife's car and she had a lot of sentimental attachment to it, since she ferried the neighborhood kids and our sons in it...needless to say, but trying to find parts for this vehicle was daunting, but they were able to restore it so that it was not only presentable, but it runs, drives, and looks absolutely great! I just had a wonderful experience with Jay. I came for an estimate on some minor bumper damage. I already had a claim filed with my insurance company. Jay took one look at the bumper and immediately identified the issue as house paint from a brush with my garage door. He got some lacquer remover and rubbed the paint marks right off. Done! I had to have some expensive electronics work done on my 08 Prius due to corrosion from humidity. Evidently, there was leak on an interior body seam which was allowing water to pool up in the spare tire well. Diamond did a very thorough job of locating the leak and sealing it back up. I hit a deer and it completely smashed the right side of my brand new car. These guys took it in and and made it look as if nothing even happened.
