He ended up just adding another valve body instead of just replacing the solenoids which would have been cheaper. Instead of calling me to confirm what his team would do they just decided to add another valve body charging me $1000. In the future I would have liked him to call me to let me know what would be done and yes you can add other OEM solenoids from another valve body or using the ones I had and getting the caps put on better so they don't fall off in the future. I would have felt that would have been more honest towards me.

I got my oil changed here today after receiving a coupon in the mail. I was looking for a cheap…read moreplace with good ratings and that coupon showed up at the right time. I called yesterday to see if they take walk-ins - they do but they take longer to complete since they are squeezed in between appointments. I decided to make an appointment for today instead. I dropped my car off at 1pm and Donovan checked it in for me. He was super nice and fast and didn't need much info from me. I told him I had the coupon in my glovebox and he honored the price without needing to take it. Donovan called me around 4pm to tell me my car was ready to go and I went and picked it up immediately. He checked me out and took my payment quickly, allowing me to get home super quickly. My car is driving great and the inspection sheet they put together is thorough and gives me an idea of what else needs to be done soon. The building is easy to find and park in front of. They have a secured fence to protect vehicles overnight. There are a couple of chairs in the lobby for you to sit in if you choose to wait while the work on your car, which I didn't do since it was going to take a couple of hours for my oil change. The prices are very reasonable and Donovan didn't try to upcharge me or push me into getting more work done than I asked for. I paid $50.59 for a full synthetic oil change, significantly less than I've paid for my past oil changes. I will definitely be getting my oil changed here exclusively going forward!

They Lyfted me home for free, and I got dropped back off later by my partner to pick up my vehicle. I did not have the correct card with me to make my payment, and had to reach out to my partner to bring my other card from the house. It was already nearly the end of the workday. When I finally got through to her, I had found out she had been in an accident. Upon realizing I was dealing with an emergency situation, Mike offered me my car keys and told to me to come back and pay tomorrow. This kindness, this willingess to take a chance on someone they had no prior relationship with, allowed me to arrive on scene of the accident and be there for my partner during a very difficult time. I was happy to return the next day to shake their hands and thank them, and of course pay them! They then worked hard to help me strategize the best approach to tackling the issues they had uncovered, which ones were most important to prioritize, the costs of each of those solutions, full on top notch customer service and transparency. Then I bring it to absolute automotive! They replaced my valve cover and even replaced my tail light for 1/3 the price! They said I had 75% life left in my brakes! We assumed they would do their job correctly but they charged us for 6 hours on a job that shouldn't have taken more than 3, killed a replacement blower motor and still didn't know why it happened. Ended up paying over $500 for an oil change, the main issue we brought it in for wasn't solved and they blew up a $150 part. Not only did they over charge us, but were rude in the process. We are a local business and brought our Transit Van to Kurt down at AAMCO. We wanted a brand new…read moretransmission put in and paid the roughly $5,000 for it. Well about a week later the transmission seized up and wouldn't work. AAMCO towed it back to their place and said their tech didn't do something right so they "fixed" it. We gave out 12k miles on the new transmission over a 2 1/2 year period. Now it is doing the same thing it did when they didn't do it right the first time. Kurt informed me we were past the date on the warranty. My question is how that can stay in place when it's doing what it did the first time you "fixed" it after your tech messed it up. Please tho k twice before going here. It's nice to feel like a national company is behind the scenes but they are not. The cooperate office told me today that they do not do quality checks on their franchises as long as they pay their fees. In short I would warn against using a company, especially if they cannot maintain mechanics that are qualified for the work.
