It was a terrible day because the door was smashed so badly it wouldn't open, and the rear door wouldn't open either. I chatted with some friends to see where they'd had collision work done, and the first place I called told me it would take months to fix. Another friend mentioned Autobody Specialties, so I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, they said they could get it done in a couple of weeks, depending on shipping. After that, I just confirmed with my insurance company where I was getting the work done, and ten days later, the car was ready. Of course, when I drove, I noticed another part wasn't working right, which I hadn't noticed in the original repairs. But they took it in and replaced the part with one they had in stock in just a few hours. They also updated the repair estimate with my insurance company for no extra cost to me. Overall, I'm really happy with how quickly the repair was done, and the paint job matches the original paint perfectly, which I was worried about because my car is black with a glittery finish. Second time around the insurance company ended up totaling it, so no repairs were done, but they were still solid to work with.
