We came here for brunch partially because of the convenience that day, and partially because of the menu (we really wanted mochi pancakes)! The food was decent, but. A few things to know: - Restaurant is inside the hotel. - There are 2 sides to the restaurant: one side of the restaurant on the left is bright and airy, and on the right it's the complete opposite (fluorescent lighting with a few booths and an old school diner style counter. It's pretty quiet and there are a few TV screens on, so I'd say there isn't any vibe whatsoever. You can very clearly hear everything your neighbors are saying in this space, so it's a little awkward. The host told us the room on left is for reservations only, although it seemed to have plenty of open tables. We settled for the right side room since it was raining and we needed to just have breakfast, but in hindsight I would have just gone elsewhere. - Overall it was fine, but we got better mochi pancakes elsewhere in Waikiki and the strawberries on top were very brown and bruised in some spots and didn't look great. I know that berries aren't native to Hawaii so they are hard to get fresh strawberries, but again we did have better strawberries elsewhere in the area.
What an amazing experience! The pancakes with strawberries are fantastic! Exactly as pancakes should be ! Fluffy and golden ! The coffee was also very good.
Average food open 24/7. The edamame with ginger with fantastic. Rest of the food - just okay. The fish & chips was wahoo fish and served with winder (curly) fries.
M.A.C. 24/7 is a mixed bag y'all. At least that was my experience. The Bad: it's hot as hell, both at the host stand and in the first dining section where my party was seated. No air flow at all. Not exactly ideal in a climate that was incredibly humid the entire length of my visit. We had to ask for water, which was refilled sparingly by dumping more ice on top, instead of any actual liquid. The service was abysmal. The host and our server were cold and unfriendly and put off the vibe that we were taking up their time.... by eating at their restaurant? Our server followed the food delivery robot to the tables around us and deposited the plates, asked if they needed anything else, but was nowhere to be found when it came to our table. In fact, several staff walked right on by while the robot shouted at us that our food had arrived. We ended up just grabbing them ourselves just to shut it up. The Good: goddamn the food was good! The ube pancakes were perfection! The sauce was so dark and luscious I wish I could've taken a gallon of it home with me. The Hawaiian Style Eggs Benedict is hella filling, you could easily split it between two people! The sriracha hollandaise really sets it off too. The coffee cups are big and they leave the carafe on your table. Would I return? Probably not. Those ube pancakes are THAT good that I'd definitely consider it.
Pretty decent. Service: 5/5. Yoon was so sweet and funny. Food: 5/5. I got Fresh Picked pancakes ($22) with an upgrade to mochi pancakes ($2? $4? See photo. Bait and switch on the price. I would've disputed, but the person paying didn't feel like it.) SOOOO good tho. I've never heard of mochi pancakes before. They were chewy, didn't get soggy like normal pancakes. Extremely generous amount of Chantilly whipped cream and fresh fruit (pineapple, orange slices, banana, strawberry, blueberry). I'm a big eater, and even with me eating my fill and 2 other people picking off my plate, I still left some of it behind. Def recommend sharing with a friend! Drinks: 1/5. Don't get espresso here. Cappuccino and latte were terrible. They don't have an actual espresso machine, only a Nescafe. I took 1 sip of the cappuccino and abandoned it. When I told Yoon it was terrible, she got me a replacement from the coffee shop next door. MAC 24/7 really should just partner up with them and get all their espresso drinks from there.
How does a restaurant room service mess up breakfast room service so bad- truly ruined my vacation. The first time that they arrived, the milk that I required was missing. They brought up the milk and after they left I realized I had no silverware so had to call down again. So they bring me silverware of knife and fork- no spoon for my oatmeal. i had to call them AGAIN and they brought a spoon but by this time oatmeal was cold I had ordered the healthy oatmeal w flax- the new batch was brown sugar and bananas- NOT what i ordered. I finally went downstairs myself to get my food right and the manager asked what did I want him to do that? He's already given me a free meal. I said give me back the hour and a half that I went without eating that I needed to show some respect and some concern for the terrible customer service I received with him as manager. All the ladies who work there are lovely, but this guy was the worst. He did take this off my bill, but I thought that they could've gotten the extra step by actually being apologetic and getting me the items that I had actually ordered within the first two tries. I will never order from this place again. Hawaii is a once in a lifetime experience and this manager ruined my day.
I had the chance to dine at M A C 24/7, two times during my recent stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. I visited once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both times, I sat at the counter. I had excellent service from the bartender/server at the counter both times, who was very pleasant and talkative. For lunch, I had the Kalua Pork Quesadilla and an Iced Tea, which was excellent. For breakfast, I had the Stuffed French Toast with a side of Spam, also very good. I would say the prices are good for the portions served and considering the location. Overall, it was a nice place, clean, bright and friendly. The only issue, is that for people sitting at tables they use a robot for delivery, which on one hand is very nice and convenient; however, if the server is busy --- you just sit there and stare at your food, as you are supposed to wait until the server shows up to retrieve it from the robot. That part is a little awkward.
There was no wait, the service wasn't bad. So that was good but I didn't know they stopped serving certain breakfast items at 11. We got there at 1115 and I couldn't get my omelette. Kind of the only reason I chose that location to dine. However, since we were already there and sitting, I didn't want to be rude and leave. We ordered mostly "favorites" thinking it must be really good.. sadly, it wasn't and the food took long to come out.. The kalbi is way too sauced, my son didn't care for it. The katsu was way overcooked, The corn beef wasn't anything special either, he said the spam was weird. I think out of my husband's plate, only the egg was good. He didn't like the fried rice. The Oreo pancakes were good, said my daughter. I enjoyed the chicken salad. Can't say that we will be back though for the price versus the quality.
My friend brought me here for my birthday. She said when her and her husband stayed and dined, they really enjoyed their meal(s). The restaurant is semi hidden within the Hilton, and upon arrival, you're supposed to seat yourself. We did awkwardly stand around for a while (although there was a sign in front), till a waitress told us to do so. After sitting we were provided menus and then waters. We got: - Mixed Plate (With Huli Huli Chicken and Spicy Ahi): My friend got this but I got to try it. It's nothing special but everyone was executed well. The chicken was more like shoyu/teriyaki chicken. If you've ever had huli huli chicken, this does NOT taste like it. - Fish & Chips: This was decent. I was just craving fish and chips for no reason, but to be honest, half way into eating it, it was getting tired of the one dimensional taste. There was 4 fish sticks/filets, they're fried decently well and crispy. The crust was pretty much separated from the fish but I think that may be intentional? The fries were also one dimensional, just tasted like fried potato. The coleslaw had pineapple in it which was a surprising twist. The condiments like hot sauce and ketchup helped saved it (combined with tartare sauce). I would say their portions are definitely decent, especially for being in waikiki. I personally wouldn't come back again, just as there are so many similar/exact alternatives within the couple of blocks radius.
What a treat! Our first breakfast in Honolulu- located in the hotel was delicious! They have a buffet but we chose to order from the menu - don't miss the spam and the fried rice! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable! Would visit again
It was a great end to our staycation in Waikiki. The food was plenty and ono and of course, had lots of extras to take home for later. Coffee was fresh. Our server was extremely nice & helpful. She was a pro at packing the extras and also gave me a fresh cup of coffee to go. Would recommend!
Can't believe i m giving it 5-star when other fancy places only received 3-4 stars. Clean & comfy environment with fun vibes, staff attentive & friendly. I was expecting the typical heavy fatty diner food, it delivered and more, but in a good way. Kalbi short ribs with eggs & rice was very good. The kalbi was succulent, smoky, juicy & delish. Its prob 80% equivalent to any top notched Korean restaurant version. I did not expect it from a diner. Mochi pancake was surprisingly good. I m usually not a pancake fan but Liked the chewy texture of these giant hotcakes; the soft whipped butter was heavenly. Other than the japanese Gram fluffy pancake back in SF, this is one of the best American style pancake I have had. They have a pancake challenge in which you must devour 5 lb worth of pancake in 90 min. We witnessed a guest next table who accomplished this feat, thus earning a free meal & a T-shirt commerating his Herculean effort. The waiter also struck the gong to alert other diners of this occasion. We saw other guests' food & most looked very tempting. There's always next Hawaii trip. read more

I had a few options for brunch but I was impressed with the friendliness of the hostess when I called so I selected M.A.C. 24/7. She was warm and inviting, reassuring me that I did not have to be a resident of Hilton to visit their establishment, which was the reason for my call. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly even though I was not next in line! My temperature was taken by the hostess and she also wore gloves, as did the rest of the staff. I was seated in a spacious booth, each booth partitioned, with a lovely view of their garden to my left and large screened televisions tuned to local and national news. The food was delicious! Eggs were perfectly cooked to my specification...bacon was crispy and not too salty....the oatmeal was creamy and the fruit was fresh! The potatoes were seasoned just right with grilled peppers on top! And the service was immaculate! Very kind and accommodating waitress/server. And being open until midnight is a huge bonus as lots of places close early due to covid so it's a great after hours spot for us late night owls! This is the first non-chain restaurant I've sampled since I've been here and it is certainly a Total BB referral! read more

Not sure how to even start, but the whole experience was more wonderful by having our server Joel attend us. The restaurant is inside the Hilton, and it's very open with booths and TV's. We ordered our food, I got the chicken and waffles and it was nice and crunchy with the delicious waffles. It tasted fresh. Joel would check up on us occasionally and he was just super friendly and an awesome person to talk too. He even gave us some Hawaii traditions to do while we are visiting. A very pleasant surprise after enjoying a lot of local island eats during our stay on Oahu. One night we were looking for a simple but fun place to accommodate a group of 6 and since it was my birthday and my turn to choose, pancakes and breakfast sounded great for dinner! Although limited to 5-6 breakfast choices during dinner time, I really enjoyed this! 4 stars all around for the food, and a 5th star for our waitress Elaine, who was just amazing all around. Last thing, I questioned 19.00 pancakes, + a few bucks for toppings, I first thought it was due to being in a Hilton property but I was wrong... These aren't your typical sized pancakes, easily shared as a side for 3-4 people. I had the mochi pancakes topped w Mac nuts and bananas, my wife had the breakfast dish that included a side of pancakes topped with strawberries. They were excellent. This will be my first stop for breakfast next time I'm in Waikiki. Other dishes order in our group, Fish and Chips, Kalua Quesadilla, Roasted Chicken. All around a pleasant find amidst the sea of restaurants in Waikiki. read more

I visited this place a year ago and looks like they updated the menu a bit and took away the reason I came to visit this year! The chicken and waffles were some of the best I've ever had but sadly it did not make the new menu. Even though I missed out on that, I found more amazing dishes MAC 24/7 serves up! I tried their chef specials, corned beef hash and peach cobbler short stack, and they were delicious! For the price, this was a great place for breakfast! The service was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of! I highly recommend giving this place a try! Can't wait to be back next time I visit the beautiful island! read more

Located inside the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel. Ate breakfast here the morning of departing Hawaii on Memorial Day. Staff was friendly. Our party of 3 didn't have to wait for our table. If you're pressed for time, don't give the staff a difficult time for your poor planning. Person next to our table clearly didn't plan her morning right but kudos to the staff for accommodating her. Plenty of options on the menu and that pancake challenge was enticing but I'm not a pro to eat 5 lbs of pancakes nor did I want to fork over $42 for the challenge only to fail it. Maybe next time when more people are with me, I'll share those massive pancakes. Ended up getting the M.A.C Attack which included eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and potatoes. Very filling. Wish I asked for the flavored pancakes but I'll make sure to ask next time I go to Hawaii. read more

The two times we can here we had great service. The waiters that we had were both good and quick. The food was also great both times we came. The first time we came I had the Mac attack and my girlfriend had the stuffed French toast and they both were so filling. The second time we went I had da loco moco and my girlfriend had omelette your way both wasn't as filling as the one we had the first day but they were still good. read more
Decided to venture out to breakfast. Heard about this place and we walked down to it. Decorations are on point. So cute. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered the omelet with potatoes and my daughter ordered the pancakes, eggs, bacon and a side order of potatoes. Everything was really really good. Hit the spot. We actually were able to bring some of our food back to the hotel. I had told the waitress that it was my daughter's birthday and she said they didn't do anything for birthdays. And at the end of our meal, she brought out some ice cream with whip cream. So sweet. I would definitely go back for a return visit. read more

My family and I were able to make a last minute reservation for 17 people for a Saturday afternoon and they were able to accommodate us :) We haven't been here for a few years and boy did they downsize their menu.. in any case, the food was really yummy! We ordered ALOT, so much that it arrived on 3 rolling tables. We were seated in a private room bc there was so many of us, it was a quiet and intimate place. Clean & very modern. The service was awesome! Our bill was pretty outrageous lol so we will probably stick to cooking breakfast at home lol read more

My friends and I came here for the 5lb pancake challenge and the 5lb pancake challenge only. I knew I had no chance of finishing it, but I decided to give it a try anyways. There are a variety of preset toppings, and I ended up choosing the fresh picked fruits. I was very impressed with the quality of the fruits, which included strawberries, oranges, pineapples, and blueberries. No doubt, the 5lb pancakes were gigantic. I honestly could not believe what was in front of my eyes. There was a load of whipped cream and it also came with a bunch of syrup. The pancakes were actually really good and moist. I clearly did not finish, but I did take home a few boxes of pancakes to eat for leftovers. It was honestly such a steal - only $35 of 4lbs of pancakes + 1lb of fresh fruit toppings. Our waitress was so nice and funny. I think she knew I knew I wasn't going to finish and giggled with me when she saw how much I ate at the halfway point. But she still encouraged me to try and finish. I will definitely not be coming back for the pancake challenge anytime soon, but I'm glad I got to experience it. And I will definitely be down to try their regular sized menu options. read more

They've reworked their menu since the last time i ate here, they don't have their meatloaf anymore , it was the best, bring back the meatloaf please! I ordered the kalbi steak and eggs (I forgot what it was called on the menu) with mochi pancakes. Very delicious and it seemed like a lot of food for the price. Thank you to Mona, our amazing server who had great conversation, local advice, and quick and genuinely kind service. Delicious food all around. Definitely get the Chicken and waffles, gosh the spiced butter was amazing, it's a lot so you can split. The fish and chips were delicious, and the breakfast menu options are definitely splittable, really I think everything here is splittable. Big portions for sure. Had the olympics playing and it's a spacious place good for groups, it gives airport lounge vibes in a good way. read more

In the lobby of a hotel so there def can be a wait. I was a single so was able to sit right away at the bar. The prices here are far more affordable then other places in the area and especially for something at a hotel. Portion sizes were massive! Only issue so had was my waitress seemed to be having a tough day. I had to ask for coffee multiple times and she was very sweet and apologized for forgetting each time. I eventually stole the cream from a patron who left their table haha but over all very good read more

We were looking for a brunch spot on Sunday. Well all places were 1h + wait we walked to MAC 24/7 and wow! Food was amazing and more affordable! It wasn't packed! The staff was so lovely! I highly recommend it! I like the diner vibe and decor! Made the experience even better! read more

This breakfast spot caught our eye so we decided to try it. NOTE! This restaurant is located inside the Hilton. The restaurant is a decent size & waiters were extremely nice. I also experienced a server cleaning up after a big party & they cleaned the table & each seat w/ a bleach solution. I was very pleased with their cleaning. M.A.C. Attack - THIS IS THE BEST BREAKFAST I'VE HAD ALL WEEK!!! I've been here for 7 days on vacation and this has been the most flavorful breakfast I've ever had. Potatoes were cooked to perfection with the just the right amount of seasoning and spice! Eggs were great!!!! Bacon wasn't crispy - but it was still great! Pancakes were CHEFS KISS !!! That spiced vanilla butter was everything. I cannot say anything bad about this place it was purely my family and I's favorite breakfast meal thus far! Thank you Hilton! read more

This small restaurant resides on the bottom floor of the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel. Service was fast and our drinks were constantly refilled. The food came out on a beautiful tray and was as aesthetically pleasing to look at as it was to eat! The MAC attack was a tasty assortment of eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. The bacon was thick and full of flavor. The biscuits and gravy tasted rich and were lightly toasted. The pancakes were a bit thicker, but the maple syrup and batter ingredients made them taste incredibly good. My only complaint is that MAC 24/7 is not a 24 hour restaurant and closes pretty early. The hotel has not updated the hours advertised around the property even though this has been changed for over two years. read more

Apparently it's time for an update: 1. Yes, FYI for you first-time visitors, there is parking! Valet only. Don't forget to have your parking ticket "validated" (your server will "validate" the ticket and add the $3.00 to your bill). Tip optional. 2. Yes, you can make a reservation. Available via open table. We made a res for 6:00pm, but later modified it (same day) to 7:15pm. Surprisingly a reservation wasn't necessary as the restaurant wasn't crowded at all when we arrived. 3. Yes, seating is at the bar (which was totally empty sans 1 customer), booths across from the bar, or tables/booths in the main dining area. 4. Yes, you can order breakfast 24/7. Other menu options include appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees. 5. No, don't order an adult beverage. Well, that's not entirely true. Just don't order the sangria (my choice) or the lava lava flow (my friend's selection). The lava flow had absolutely no taste......I mean you really couldn't taste the alcohol or any of the other drink components really. You could "taste" the small particles of blended ice though. The sangria seemed like someone poured day old red wine and ice into and cup served it with a pineapple wedge. Not recommended. 6. Yes, the fish tacos AND beef stew may or may not be the best items on the menu. Per the server's recommendation(s), we chose these dinner entrees. I don't see how either of these are the best items or popular items on their menu. Though the beef stew had large chunks of meat and a generous helping of vegetables, I didn't think it was that great. I prefer my dad's beef stew any day. My friend found his fish tacos mediocre. Nothing noteworthy to mention about either entree. 7. Yes, service was ok. Just ok. The server was friendly and polite, but I felt like he was overdoing a bit with the conversation. I'm guess he was trying to build up his tip perhaps. BOTTOM LINE: With such an enormous array of eateries in Waikiki, I won't be back any time soon. read more

First off it is no longer 24 hours, due to the labor shortages from the pandemic. However the good news is their food is still as good! Came here for bfast and there was no wait and bonus, with valet parking at the Hilton. The original pancakes were delicious and the local style eggs Benedict was delectable too. Everyone's food looked really good and the portions were huge. Definitely a great place for bfast! read more
