This was our first Leavenworth meal. It was the one place my boyfriend wanted to try, so we waited in line. There was someone handing out menus while we were waited our turn. You order at the window & are given a buzzer once your food ready. There is a variety condiments for you to try on your food. We got the Big Bob bratwurst, dirtyface beer wurst, & the warm bavarian pretzel. The Big Bob which according to the menu is the best seller for a reason. The more simple choice which gives you free range to sauce area. The bratwurst itself was so juicy. Boyfriend enjoyed & said it was his favorite meal of the trip. The pretzel served warm, so soft with just the right amount of butter & salt. Oh & can't forget about the cheese sauce it comes with, was amazing. Highly recommend getting the pretzel too. These guys worked the line down pretty quickly,so we didnt wait too long. Definitely stop here, you wont regret it.

Warm German Pretzel

We visited in March. Line around lunch time to order was fairly fast. Smaller seating area than expected for how recommended this place was, but we were able to find a table easily. Pretzel with Beecher's cheese is a must! Kid and pet friendly. Offers free temporary tattoos at beer station. Military discount given!

This place is so fun! We got in the long line and it did not disappoint. There was a QR code in the line that you can scan and quickly look over the menu. We decided to order the Big Bob and the Han's Jalapeño and cheddar along with a bowl of Chilli de Carne. We were then guided to the seating area where we shared the large table with another couple. Not long, our food was ready and I went to pick it up. At the condiment stand, there was a lot of sauces for the brats. I put what I thought was tasty on the brats and bought it back to the table to share with my husband. The Big Bob goes well with the Chili. I would definitely recommend those combinations.

For a bunch of non-Germans Leavenworth does a great job of making this German girl feel homesick! This is very Bavarian. Stand in line. In the cold. Order brats. Stand in line. Order beer. Get beer. Get brats. How many styles of mustard do these guys have? If you're lucky enough to find a heated table you'll have a great time. If not you'll at least have a good time!

Delicious!! Loved their hot dog! I'm picky with sausages and bratwurst só I didn't order that. But their hot dog was really good!! The potato salad was not good tho. I did not like how it was cold and very simple in flavor. Other than that this place is cute! We came when it opened as there was no line. In the evenings it looks like the line packs up huge so we didn't think it was worth the wait lol.

Okay so I found the place slightly over rated from what was in my mind. The place is still pretty decent and if you are hungry and wants to try some german good - be sure to check out the place. Personally the Spinach Chicken Sausage I tried was very average and also not up to the mark. However they made it up with their delicious tasting Pretzel . Pretzels were actually super good. I also tried the local beer from Icicle Brewery and I loved it. The ambience is cool..they have indoor sitting area which is quite spacious along with rooftop which you stood try out.

For what it was, pretty decent. I loved the options for sauces and pickles This place has a long line but the line moved fast. Also got heating lamps

Warm German Pretzel and The Big "bob" Bratwurst

Pretty good pretzel and sausage for a chilly day in Leavenworth! The pretzel was soft and the sausage was their best seller. The sausage felt a bit bland on its own so it required lots of the toppings and sauces. I like that there's ample heaters so even if you're sitting outside you can stay warm. Our food was out quickly despite a long line though!

Great location slinging out great food. We came here during Oktoberfest and this place didn't disappoint. Stand outs- the homemade sauerkraut and the plethora of mustard and other condiment options. Sausage and Kielbasa were both delicious. The pretzel was perfect and the potato salad was great as well. Service was quick and efficient. They got the line moving and made sure nobody cut in line. And their Biergarten is what you would expect in Germany during Oktoberfest. Well decorated and plenty of seating (as long as you come early).

If you're in Leavenworth and want the ultimate Bavarian food experience, look no further than München Haus. My friend and I stopped in before Oktoberfest, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We shared the jalapeño cheddar sausage and a pretzel with melted cheese, and both were outstanding. The sausage had the perfect snap and was grilled to juicy perfection, while the pretzel was pillowy soft inside with that golden chew on the outside. Exactly how a Bavarian pretzel should be. The chunky salt was generous, and dipping it into the warm, melty cheese was pure comfort food bliss. One of the things that makes München Haus stand out is the condiment bar. They have around 14 different mustards (everything from sweet honey mustard to spicy stone-ground), plus toppings like onions, dill and sweet relish, jalapeños, ketchup, horseradish sauce, and more. It's a choose-your-own-adventure for your sausage, and it really elevates the experience. The atmosphere is fantastic. There's a patio in both the front and back, and some of the back tables even have firepits in the middle to keep you cozy on chilly evenings. There's also an upper deck/balcony for extra seating. German music plays in the background, foliage hangs down from the balcony, and it all feels authentically festive without being gimmicky. The process is super easy: you order your food up front (they give you a buzzer), then head to the back to order your drinks. Service was fast and friendly, and prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portions. A fun bonus is that they're dog-friendly and even sell merch like dog treats, steins, hats, and more. Overall, München Haus nails the German beer garden vibe while serving seriously delicious food. Whether you're just passing through Leavenworth or here for Oktoberfest, it's an absolute must-visit.

Honestly, this place feels way overrated. We stood in line for over 30 minutes under the blazing sun (about 90°F) only to then scramble for seats inside. Sitting outside was impossible - every table and bench was scorching hot. We went for the classic Kielbasa, which turned out to be nothing more than a regular hot dog for $10 - and unfortunately, nothing close to an authentic Polish dish. If I'm paying that much for a hot dog, I expect at least some resemblance to the real thing. The potatoes were very much hit-or-miss - I personally didn't enjoy them. The beer, however, was excellent - easily the highlight of the visit. If you're here just for a drink, it might be worth a stop. But honestly, in Leavenworth you can find plenty of other spots that serve a full, hearty meal for the same price (and without the endless line).

Helga's Giant Kelbassi

We arrived from the back alley, but the main entrance is at the front of the main street. The line was a little long, but quick. There's a decent amount of seating with mist spraying on the hot day we were there. We ordered the big Bob bratwurst and Helga's giant kelbassi. Since the kelbassi was so thick, the bun split open, and my toppings were coming out. It's probably easier to eat the kelbassi with utensils. Other than that, the kelbassi is one I'd eat again. I didn't like the flavor of the bratwurst, but I usually don't prefer bratwurst anyway. It was nice that there's 2 stations with the different mustards to choose from. I tried multiple on mine, but it was hard to tell what was what once I put them on, and I could only really taste one kind.

Potato salad - quite good

It seems appropriate to have beer and sausages when you're in a German town like Leavenworth. When we first arrived, there's a line about 30 people deep and we were discouraged. But then the line started moving, and menus were passed out to those in line. By the time you're at the front of the line, your order is taken by a staff member. Then you go around to their courtyard / beer garden and find seating. Many of the tables are in the shade. Once your food is ready, you visit the condiments area where you'll find 14 different mustards, relish, and apple cider sauerkraut. I'm not a sauerkraut fan, but this is quite good and complimented my Spinach Chicken sausage. The food was good, but having lunch in a pretty courtyard on a sunny day somehow made it even better.

Being able to put in song requests made the whole experience even more interactive and memorable. We came with a friend from Germany and he said the food felt truly authentic, which says a lot. We ordered the pretzels, schnitzel, Sauerbraten, and the sausage platter. All were hearty and what you'd hope for at a Bavarian-style beer hall. We also had a hot toddy and mulled wine, perfect for the Leavenworth vibe and delicious. Between the food, drinks, music, and cozy ambiance, it was such a fun night. We were especially excited to order the Kohl Roulade (stuffed cabbage), since we had tried it at another nearby spot earlier on our trip and absolutely loved it. When we arrived, there was about a 15-minute wait for booths and tables, but we were seated right away at the high tops. We were already starving and had plans to catch the fireworks afterward, so that worked perfectly for us. Shortly after sitting down, we were served warm bread with both regular butter and garlic butter. The garlic butter paired with the warm, soft bread was to die for, honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We placed our order for the Kohl Roulade, and it came out in about 10 minutes. As soon as it arrived, I cut into the roll, made sure to smother it in the marinara sauce, and took my first bite...then my second...and my third. Overall, it was just okay. The meat wasn't quite as flavorful as what we had experienced elsewhere, which was a bit disappointing given how high our expectations were. The plate also came with red cabbage, sauerkraut, and fried potatoes. The red cabbage and potatoes were tasty, but the sauerkraut wasn't really for me though that's more of a personal preference since I'm not a big sauerkraut fan. We really wanted to love this dish, but it just didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. That said, you can't win them all, right? The service was good and the staff were very friendly, which we appreciated. Would I come back? Maybe, but I'd definitely try a different dish next time.
