What else could you ask for in a brewery? Great beer - check! Had a flight of some of their IPAs (Bootjack, Dragontail, Prusik and Stuart Lake) - favorite was Prusik Great outdoor and indoor space- check! Great service- my server asked me to tell her what my favorite beer was. Great way to build a connection with your customers. Great merch- check!! I wanted everything, especially one of their tackers but I was traveling and wouldn't be able to fit it in my luggage :( All in all an excellent experience on a beautiful October Sunday afternoon.

Always a stop whenever we pass through Leavenworth. The beer is tasty and the setting is wonderful. Dog friendly outside and very easy to order. The food is a great compliment to their beers, all while following the Bavarian style within the community. Lines can be long but just go walk some shops and come back, it will be worth it.

Great place to recoup from walking up and down the main drag of Leavenworth. Awesome selection of beers and small bites. The patio was warm on a winter night with heat lamps and table fires...yes TABLE FIRES!

I'm shook I've never left a review before?? This is my favorite place for a drink in Leavenworth. Great outdoor seating with fire pits and heat lamps in cold weather. Indoor is cozy too (more seating downstairs.) they always have a local hard cider, which I love. And the beer is great per my beer drinking friends. You order at counter, then take your drink and food order number back to your table (typical brewing behavior.) love love love this place.

Nestled in the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, the Icicle Brewing is the perfect hang-out spot to grab beer or wine and seasonal food. The menu changes often, so what is posted on their website may or may not reflect what's available in the taproom. You order at the counter and seat yourself. There's a lot of outdoor and indoor seating available. Since it was cold, we decided to sit indoors on the 2nd floor. I had their red wine blend and brisket chili. We also ordered another item, but I don't remember its name. I will attach a picture ( I highly recommend this)! Overall, the ambiance was great, laid back, and family-friendly. Their staff was excellent and very welcoming.

Food was excellent and the server and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived right at opening (11:00 AM) on one of the hottest days of the year but the restaurant was air conditioned and some windows open for a slight breeze. Would return beer is fantastic.

Icicle brewing is one of our favorite pubs in Leavenworth! Their beers are fantastic and our kids love the indoor gondolas (they are pretty awesome!). There's seating outside and on the main floor as well as upstairs and downstairs, so be sure look around for a spot that meets your needs. The staff is friendly and quick, you can always find someone to help get you a spot. The food is pretty good as well - last time we were in I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was fantastic! Just the right amount of spice I was looking for. And my kids always smash on their pretzels. I highly recommend Icicle Brewing! Great for couples and families alike.

Icicle Brewing was a great brewery. Counter service was friendly and they bring the food to your table. There is some great seating areas like the two gondolas you can sit in on the top floor. The beer is solid, I especially liked the German chocolate stout. Pretzel w beer cheese was pretty good too! Their beer was sold at some other establishments in the area as well and for being in a small, tourist town, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Well done.

Must stop for a beer tasting! There are so many award winning beers for every palette, from pilsners to IPAs to a stout. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The vibe is great; indoor and outdoor seating for all kind of weather.

Leavenworth is full of all kinds of eating and drinking establishments. It's a major stop on the Cascade Loop and it does a great job catering to the masses. We were in the mood of some good beer and snacks so we decided to checkout Icicle. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food/drinks: Good. We got a German pretzel to share that came with a warm Beecher's cheese dipping sauce. I gotta say...it was the freshest softest pretzel that I have ever had. It was warm and wasn't overloaded with salt. For beer we tried their decadent Dark Persuasion which is a German Chocolate Cake Ale. The beer tasted very rich and very satisfying and paired nicely with the pretzel. Décor: like a brewery. There was a first level and a ground level that provided plenty of space to sit and socialize. Cleanliness: good. The tables and the bathroom was clean. Service: good. You have to place both your food and your drink order at the bar which is a little weird. You get the beer right away and have to carry it back to your table. The food comes later based on the number that they give you to display at the table. Price: typical. The pretzel was $8 and so was the beer. If you're in the mood for some really good and fresh German pretzel paired with a local Washington beer then Icicle is a great choice.

They have a ski lift for a chair!

Stopped by for just a beer after enjoying dinner down the street. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Love that they have automatic misters in the bier garden outside. They seek to have music or something fun such as a tournament every night during the summer. Would stop by again id in the area!

Amazing beer selection and a nice small bites menu. Great front patio seating area. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.

What we got was some of the best pizza we've had anywhere, full stop. The crust alone deserves its own fan club. Perfectly blistered, airy, crisp on the outside with that chewy, authentic bite you only get when someone actually cares about dough. You can taste the quality of the ingredients immediately. This isn't "brewery pizza." This is legit, crave-it-again pizza. And then there's Summer, the owner. She served us herself and embodies everything people love about Leavenworth and small-town businesses done right. Warm, welcoming, proud of what she's built, and genuinely invested in every table having a great experience. That kind of hospitality changes a meal into a memory. The drinks absolutely hold their own too. Great beers across styles, excellent cider options, and a menu that goes well beyond pizza. But honestly, the pizza alone is worth the trip with kids, friends, or anyone who appreciates real food made by real people who care. Families: this is your spot. Casual, welcoming, delicious, and the kind of place where everyone leaves happy. We'll be back every time we're in town.

Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------
