Marvelous Peach Gose at Dru Bru!
Alden C.

I always liked Dru Bru and was very pleasantly surprised as we were driving through Cle Elum that they opened a second location here. We didn't have it in our schedule but we had enough time to come here and kick back to enjoy a beer. I think I like this taproom a bit better than the original location. Their outdoor seating is very enticing on warm days I'm sure... unfortunately it was just a bit too gusty to enjoy outdoors so indoors it was. I had a lovely Peach Gose and it was everything I was hoping... having peach being at the forefront of a sip but not a rush of sugary sweetness which I got tired of with so many fruited sours last summer from various breweries. Very well done Dru Bru... you didn't disappoint!

My girlfriend and I stopped into Dru Bru for a couple beers while passing through Cle Elum. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Credit cards are accepted. Family friendly brewery. Dru Bru provides indoor and outdoor seating. Canned beer can be purchased to-go. Dru Bru paraphernalia can be acquired as well. Wait service is not offered. Beer orders are placed inside. Sandwiches and wraps are made by Stella's. Outdoors one will find Swiftfired Pizza truck. Swiftfired offers a 10% discount to active and retired military as well as to first responders with proof of service. For non-beer lovers, Dru Bru offers hard cider. I enjoyed a couple tasty Alpha Female IPAs while enjoying the outside sunshine. This location feels much more modern than the Snoqualmie location; however, one can expect friendly service and great beer at both locations. Looking forward to stopping into this location when I'm in the area again.

Bottom line: an unique experience and definitely should be a place to visit if you're in Cle Elum. They offer a variety of local favorites and the venue is relatively large to host big groups both inside and out. Very limited food menu, however, there is a pizza food truck right outside the door that we ordered from. Relatively priced and my favorite drink was the Cle Elum classic. The Blueberry Sour was ok but way too sour for me. The service was a bit slow but the venue was undermanned and had the Memorial Day rush so that was understandable. I would definitely revisit this place. Great customer service, food variety of drinks, great vibe, and family friendly. Put it on your list to visit.

Pizza from the truck and tasty beer

This place has an incredible outdoor patio that is dog friendly and their indoor seating is also plentiful. They had an extensive selection of beer styles, fresh hop trio and the fest bier were my favorites and especially this time of year. The pizza food truck on site was so delicious and the place was a really cool on stop shop for drinks and food. The interior was so clean and the decor was modern and fun with a large community collaboration coloring wall. The staff was awesome and made great recommendations on beers and we'll absolutely be back!

Awesome brewery!! We came here while on vacation at Suncadia - they have a huge outdoor area with the Swift wood fired pizza truck. There's some fire pits to keep warm as well. Plenty of space to social distance. We couldn't decide what to order so we tried a flight first, it was perfect size and gave us a good idea of what we like. We ended up getting a bunch of crowlers and they were all good - I esp liked the lighter beers (pilsner, hefe), and the ciders are really good too!

Our flight... Didn't love any and one I couldn't even drink.

Meh... Nothing special here. The atmosphere is cold and the beer wasn't our fav at all. It is fam and pet friendly, but nothing special. I would stop here if you are staying in or around Cle Elem to see for yourself. Dry Bru has a ton of beer, so if it's something you like then it's worth trying the brewry. They also have a lot of outside games.

The outside area seating.

Massive Brewery in Cle-Elum, WA. If you like beer and are in Cle-Elum, you should stop by the Dru Bru Brewery. This is a cavernous building seemingly in the middle of nowhere. They brew the beer right here on an industrial scale. There is lots of room to sit and enjoy tasters or pints of beer, both in the enormous indoor air-conditioned building or outside at one of the picnic tables. They do not serve food, but a pizza vendor trailer is outside that cooks your order fresh. I ordered a flight of 6 beers and enjoyed them all. Of course, I ordered only IPAs, pale ale, and one pilsner. I wouldn't make a special trip from Seattle to go here (There are many great breweries here), but if you are visiting friends or have a cabin up there, this is the best (and the only) brewery nearby. So, excellent beer, Air conditioning, ample seating, and friendly service. And for those reasons, I am awar4ding five stars! BTW, if you enjoyed my review or found it useful, funny, or cool, please don't hesitate to click the little button to say so, or better yet, go ahead and friend me. So go on! Press that button, and never miss one of my epic reviews in the Seattle area and beyond. Excelsior!

I haven't been at this place for a couple of years and was passing through so I thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm super glad I did. It is once again on my list of cool places to stop in my travels. Well... we finally did it... and shame on us for waiting so long. Such a very cool place and the vibe was great. An open concept inside, with a couple spots outdoors as you enter inside. My wife and I decided to split our meals and we ended up ordering the Chicken Tinga Street Tacos, as well as, a platter of Chicken Nachos. Both very delicious and the cilantro is simply supreme on this! The radishes was a nice touch, with some sauce over corn tortillas with that Cotiga cheese. I would prefer flour, but I'll take it! We also had the Saison which was light, a bit dry, crisp and sort of lemony. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and the neighboring tables. Had some good conversations with local folks. As always, enjoy and Happy Mule Elking!

Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------

What we got was some of the best pizza we've had anywhere, full stop. The crust alone deserves its own fan club. Perfectly blistered, airy, crisp on the outside with that chewy, authentic bite you only get when someone actually cares about dough. You can taste the quality of the ingredients immediately. This isn't "brewery pizza." This is legit, crave-it-again pizza. And then there's Summer, the owner. She served us herself and embodies everything people love about Leavenworth and small-town businesses done right. Warm, welcoming, proud of what she's built, and genuinely invested in every table having a great experience. That kind of hospitality changes a meal into a memory. The drinks absolutely hold their own too. Great beers across styles, excellent cider options, and a menu that goes well beyond pizza. But honestly, the pizza alone is worth the trip with kids, friends, or anyone who appreciates real food made by real people who care. Families: this is your spot. We showed up last night, late, after we'd both been working downtown doing physical work that just wore us out. Sure, we're in our seventh decade, but we both stay busy! And we just didn't want to cook a dinner after we have given out all our energy. So we walked in, and noted that the place is brightly lit and feels homey while also feeling like a place to be comfortable and not worry about who's watching. We went up to the bar to order our food and drinks, and sat at a table with our drinks. We maybe were there about five to ten minutes and our food came out, fresh and hot and with amazing scents of delightful ingredients. I had the Spicy Burger, which comes with a *six* ounce patty, with cheese, lettuce & tomato and onion, and a spicy chipotle mayo sauce and pickled jalapenos on a brioche. I *love* spicy food anyway, and this hit the spot. Spicy enough to fill the craving I had, and juicy enough that I needed a dozen extra napkins to catch all the juices and spices. My wife had the fish & chips. The fish was made with battered cod, and it was flaky and tender to the point of being "fall apart in your mouth" fresh. The tartar sauce was very good, too. And we both were so very pleased with the fries. They cut the potatoes into strips maybe 1/4" thick and 1/2" wide, but then they dip them in beer batter before deep-frying them. They were *amazing* - crisp and hot and tasty, and well seasoned. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we have made it a plan that the brewery will become one of the local restaurants we will return to often for a good meal after a hard day.
