Roslyn Brewery.
Trista H.

My least favorite brewery (not beer) to date. Our arrival was coldly acknowledged. The gal working never warmed up in the least. The tip jar sitting on the counter was a huge turn off. This brewery is so small (one table) that it's best to fill growlers and enjoy at home. The copper bar was cool. Beer prices were inexpensive compared to the west side of the mountains. I suggest either skipping this brewery and enjoying tasty Roslyn craft beers at The Brick Tavern or fill a growler to go and enjoy at home.

Came here after doing a distillery tasting near by and it was a nice change of pace. It was sunny outside so we were able to sit and enjoy the sun. Maybe i'm used to Seattle prices but my friend and I split the beer flight and it was only $6 for 5 large tasting!! WOW. I really liked the red lager, belgian ale and the Roslyn. I'd say the Boomtown and Brookside taste like any basic beer. Would recommend making a pit stop here. Super casual and the person who took our order was nice.

Great beer and cute space. We entered Roslyn Brewing through the patio walk-up window. The weather wasn't great when I visited, so we opted to sit inside instead. There is only a handful of seats at the bar top, on either side of the room. They have about 4-5 local beers on tap and I opted for the Red Ale, which I loved! They have a beer for every kind of beer drinker, and at $4 a pint, it's a great spot for a cold one! The woman behind the counter could be a bit more friendlier and warm, but otherwise the beer was a solid choice.

Yes, they only have 3 beers on tap here (2 regulars and one "special") but they are pretty good for out in the middle of nowhere. My friends and I stopped in after a weekend of camping at Lake Easton State Park and to cross off another brewing from our WABL List. The inside taproom is very small but that's why their outdoor space is perfect for a hot sunny day (and enjoying a beer or 2). They do growler fills and carry 22 oz. bottles of their brews.

Great little place! Glad we stopped here on our way home from camping. We ordered the sampler (about 6 beers) and really enjoyed the Roslyn Dark Lager the best. The others were all pretty good & especially refreshing on a hot day. I think it was $8 for the sampler. The tap room inside is lovely with room for a few people on the bar but the dog friendly back patio was the best! There were about 6 tables set up (some in sun, some covered, some in shade) and some great music playing. Lovely little area - can't wait to come back! Also, who knew that downtown Roslyn was so cute? I loved the "old town" vibe. PS - There is no food but they have the menu for a local pizza place.

Make sure you are in Roslyn not CleElum as our first attempt. The brewery is pretty nice with an indoor and outdoor area. Beers are mostly Lagers so if that's what you like then this is the place for you. If you are a non beer drinker they only have root beer or water. Get your food and drop on in for a friendly visit and good beer.

Awesome copper playing and yummy Dark Ale!

Good beer but rude service. Do not expect to feel welcomed. The decor and ambiance is good.

This is a great spot located in the heart of Cle Elum! They have a food truck on site, which we unfortunately were not able to try because they had closed a bit early. Luckily, they had a number of sandwich and salad options. Our group enjoyed the Cuban, the chicken pesto, the Roslyn Rider, and a Caesar salad, which had some of the best croutons we've had in sometime! Another notable find was the snack mix... Not something that you would normally gush about, but this was filled with all of the best things the world has to offer Cheetos, bugles, Cheez-Its, and pretzels. If the Gardetto rye chips were in this, your head might just explode. For a relatively small outfit, the service here was very fast as they pumped out all of our food in about 10 minutes. There is ample indoor seating, and a lot of outdoor seating, which is shaded, and all of which is lovely! They've got a nice area with cornhole and some other games to play. They also have board games available inside. The only thing they are lacking is a big grassy area kids can go run around, but the asphalt worked just fine this spring day. We very much enjoyed our time here and will likely be back!

The tacos were a 10 out of 10, the fire pit was awesome outside and I note several little improvements wherever I look. I haven't been at this place for a couple of years and was passing through so I thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm super glad I did. It is once again on my list of cool places to stop in my travels. Well... we finally did it... and shame on us for waiting so long. Such a very cool place and the vibe was great. An open concept inside, with a couple spots outdoors as you enter inside. My wife and I decided to split our meals and we ended up ordering the Chicken Tinga Street Tacos, as well as, a platter of Chicken Nachos. Both very delicious and the cilantro is simply supreme on this! The radishes was a nice touch, with some sauce over corn tortillas with that Cotiga cheese. I would prefer flour, but I'll take it! We also had the Saison which was light, a bit dry, crisp and sort of lemony. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and the neighboring tables. Had some good conversations with local folks. As always, enjoy and Happy Mule Elking!

And since they don't have a kitchen, dogs are allowed inside. Service is friendly and helpful, although there's usually just a single bartender working which means you may have to wait for a beer during busy times. I normally would rate them 4 or 5 stars, but they don't list either the prices nor the type of glass they serve it in, so it's up to them how much they'll charge you for a drink and how much they'll give you. They don't even list this info on their website. I could ask the beertender, but when they are busy I feel bad doing this to them and inconveniencing those waiting in line behind me.

The beer is excellent, especially the seasonal releases. There's always something on tap that makes you slow down, pay attention, and then mentally note, "I need to have this again before it's gone." Thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly brewed with care. The space has real personality. Han frozen in carbonite on the wall... solo, no Jabba in sight. It sets the tone immediately. Add pinball machines (yes, real pinball), and it feels more like a hangout than a tasting room. There are pinball tournaments! The staff is a huge part of why I keep coming back: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. They know the beer, they like the beer, and it shows. Bonus points for being able to bring in local food. Grab something nearby, bring it in, pair it with a great pint, and you're set. They often have food trucks outback, which is great for those nights when you aren't in the mood to cook. Dinner + beer all in one spot. Amazing beer, amazing staff, and a space that gets it right. Volition is exactly what a local brewery should be.

From the stunning views over the valley below, to the tasty cocktails, to the wonderful eats it was a great way to chillax on a lovely Saturday evening. Having had a not-great experience with wine (at a different venue) earlier in the day, we opted for cocktails here. My extra dirty martini with cheese-stuffed olives was phenomenal, and my friend enjoyed her old fashioned. We shared a roasted beet and burrata salad as an appy, then moved on to our main courses - I got the prime tenderloin and she got the cider glazed pork. We washed it all down with a couple of chocolate espresso martinis for dessert. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. What really put our experience here over the top was the absolutely amazing service we received, especially from our waiter, Trevor. He was friendly, funny, and helped us navigate the menu when we couldn't decide what to get. He also told us a little about the geological history of the area, which is built over an old coal mine. This place wasn't cheap, but for a fun night out of splurging, it was perfect!
