I was here for an early dinner the first time I was in Paris. I heard it was supposed to be pretty good. I got the pot of mussels and they were decent, but not great. I generally enjoy mussels and there wasn't anything wrong in particular with these, but there also wasn't anything noteworthy about them. The flavor of the soup was fine. The restaurant was pretty empty when I got there, but it filled up relatively quickly. The waiter spoke decent English and was pretty friendly. I think in terms of value, there's definitely other places in Europe that offer quality food at a cheaper price. I would be willing to try this place, but not sure if I would come again.

I have been coming here since 2003. Moules (mussels) is what they are all about. Léon's has been my standard to comparing steamed mussels every where else. A large pot of mussels steams with butter, white wine, garlic and herbs. Devine. My other favorite dish is moules escargot. Mussels arranged on an escargot plate steaming in butter and garlic and blanketed with melted Parmesan. This requires almost a half baguette to sop up the juicy goodness. It's also served with a small bucket of French fries. 18€. I did get a chance to taste the curry mussels- they were nice. In the summer I recommend the large enclosed seating out front so you can people watch on the Champs-Elysées. Inside seems huge compared to most European restaurants.

Soggy salad and very small portion. Dry chicken. McDonald's do better chicken than them.

Restaurant tried to intimidate me to take down my reviews. This practice is as mafia as it gets. I hope no more tourists will fall under their traps. They tried to even lie to tourists that in France you need to give tips. No way. Look at my other reviews at other Leon establishments. The tips are already included. If any restaurant tells you the contrary, they lie. Go to other Leon's. There are plenty in Paris. Don't fall for this overpriced chain food that you can enjoy from other Leon chains.

Located near Arc de Triomphe, this place is a good choice for seafood. I gave it 4 stars because it took forever until someone came to take our order. Forever to get drinks and food. But our server was multitasking and was great. Food was okay, fish and chips were very bland but desserts were out of this world good.

Saw this on my first night in Paris. My late husbands fave dish - Moules frites. Just had to have it. It is a 'tourist haven' located along the Champs Elysee boulevard. Waiters are friendly as they are used to tourists. I chose the fix menu of The authentic marieniere mussel casserole with fries and dessert of creme brulee. I remember my father in law saying that you should only eat mussels during the months with n R . Their peak season is around winter. No wonder the mussels I got were a bit small and the pot, even when full, didnt seem to satisfy my cravings. The frites made up for it as well as the creme brulee. So good! I also added a drink of lambik beer - Mort Subite.- refreshing drink! Good pairing with the mussels and fries. It was an ok dinner considering I was really hungry and it was the first thing I saw coming out of my hotel. Will definitely go to a better restaurant next time especially here in Paris.

Fish fish fish! Know for their mussels. It felt like the TGIF of Parisian seafood brasseries. I believe there are now 3 Lyons around Paris. The mussel were good. I opted for the curry broth. It was ok. A bit weak. Seemed like they were appealing to the masses verses bringing the flavor. A well used plastic bucket was place on the table for shells. The service was nice. The place is kid and group friendly. So a large group may be the way to go.

This time is much better then then a couple years ago. Service is improved and they more veriety of food beside mussels. Eventhough they have a longline, they were able to make line move quite quickly.

I consider myself an expert in Belgian cuisine, having lived there for 3 years and tasted food from every province. We now live in Paris. I took my daughter into Leon de Bruxelles for a small bite of authentic Belgian frites, hot cocoa for my daughter, and a nice Belgian beer. On the menu this came to +20€, but after I ordered the waiter said the following.... "This is a restaurant, and you should order more than just this." Apparently my money is not good enough for this place. We walked out. This would never happen in a real local restaurant. BTW, tables were dirty, and they only had a few customers. Says a lot. My first truly negative review on Yelp, but well earned.

Ah, Leon! A fun chain that had a nice ambience. A little cheesy, family friendly joint that had good food, friendly service and tidy spaces. The petite poissons were unexpectedly delicious, beer flowed freely and the muscles were tender! I wish I had selected the muscles in red sauce but now I know for my next visit! Dessert was more for my date but a nice way to end the meal!

Do not be fooled by this place just because it's located on Champs Élysées and has a nice outdoor area. The customer service is terrible! The wait was under 5 mins on a Saturday night. The server actually argued with us and told us we ordered the wrong item (even though he spoke perfect English and we made sure to point at what we wanted to get). Took forever to bring our drinks. Food was mediocre. No refill if you order tea. & server decides to be extremely friendly and talkative once he brings us our bill...

If you want to spend 22 euros on tomato soup topped with overly cooked pasta, by all means please go to Leon de Bruxelles. Setting aside the fancy name, my evening dinner was riddled with poor and rude service, tasteless pasta, and slimy creme brûlée. Our waiter did not know good enough english to take my order and when the pasta arrived, no mussels were present on the dish- when i asked why he had told me that I wanted none of it. Of course, he had to oblige and took the order. When he came, the plate was not redone and rather, was topped off with yet another blob of overly cooked pasta with a side of mussels. Look, if you want to just get mussels then go for it because they were not bad! but anything else i would NOT recommend since it was a huge waste of money and prepare for rude service. Just because its in a nice spot in Paris does NOT mean the service/food will be up to par.

This is a must try on Champs-Élysées! I loved this place! I got the mussels with prawns & fries. The mussel pot was huge! & so yummy although I did add salt. The Mayo here was also the best I've had in Paris. Try it with your fries lol. Also had the rosé. Really good. They speak little English here, but the service is still good. 10/10 recommend.

Okay mussels and BAD service. I am shooting fashion week in Paris and wanted to go to a lunch restaurant that is quick and delicious to go. I googled where I can get the best moules-frites in Paris, and Leon de Bruxelles in Champs-Elysees came up as #1 on multiple sites. The service is very poor. I had to ask for bread, water; pepper, salt... You basically have to beg to be served, and they take forever to bring anything. I was not into big of a rush, and it was around three, so it shouldn't have taken this long for the food to come out and for me to be seated. It's not very crowded even. I got the mussels in tomato sauce with fries. It was fair, but what was kind of disgusting was that there was a random olive in one of the mussels... How did that get there... Must have been a careless kitchen because that is not OKAY! It is gross to have random bits of other dishes within one dish! Not cool. I sat outside and it is pretty pleasant. I wouldn't go back here, but it definitely served it's purpose as a mussels restaurant.

moules a la creme, frites, et biere = yummmm

This place rated high on both. It was early about 6:00 and very few customers. We were seated without reservation, by 7 this place was jumping surely u would need one by then. Charming restaurant but they pack u in a little tight. Seems like this is standard in Paris. Customer Service Julien out waiter was the best. Very attentive and friendly, no rushing. Little language problem but I pointed to menu and he helped me pick my entree. He was great. Assortment of cheese Very good Rigatoni with truffle sauce topped with shaved cheese Did not look like much but the truffle sauce had rich flavor. Veal chop with chanterelle mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Wow never tasted anything like these beautiful flavors. Going to make this dish at home. Brioche French toast with salted butter caramel and ice cream. Too sweet for me but delicious, my honey loved it. Plating Lots of pride here. If I am ever in Paris in Avenue De Champs Elysees I would come here again u should to. This was a perfect dining experience. I would rate this place a 10 if I could.
