Easily made a reservation through TripAdvisor and had one of the best meals of our trip here! My friend and I both did the 2-course pre-fixe, where you can mix and match an appetizer, entree and dessert. I went with the bufalo mozzarella appetizer and salmon entree, while my friend also did the salmon, and chocolate mousse for dessert. The mozz was amazing, but the best part was the cantaloupe it was served with - it may be the most delicious cantaloupe I've ever had. The salmon was perfection, and I'm so glad we both got it because I wouldn't have wanted to share. Crispy and melted on the tongue, with great flavor. A great restaurant in a fine neighborhood. Invalides' museum is just on the other side of the road, Rodin museum is nearby. A few hundred meters and you can see the Eiffel tower. We visited Invalides and stopped by this restaurant both years we visited Paris 2011 and 2012. It was that good! Excellent Prix Fixe lunch menu and pretty affordable. Upscale, quiet, not touristy with amazingly flavorful and unique dishes. Some of the waiters do not speak English well but there was always someone who could. An older gentlemen walked us through the menu and explained everything very politely. We were very curious about the "andouilette" (colon sausage) which we heard so much about and he delicately steered us away from it as it sounded like an acquired taste. Lunch here was not too crowded. The atmosphere is polished, but not too stuffy. Service is wonderful. The food here is incredible. Fresh, delicately prepared, amazing depth of flavor. I had the most fabulous seafood risotto, chilled lentil soup and prawns here. Each dish is a sublime explosion of textures and flavors. I will never forget this place. We attempted to come here one night on our visit to Paris and were turned away because we didn't have reservations. As we were leaving, a couple dining inside overheard us and didn't hesitate to tell us we should come back with reservations, because their meal was just that good. So, we took their advice and came back the next evening. Lesson learned: MAKE RESERVATIONS! We certainly had an unforgettable meal at Pasco. The food was very tasty and well prepared. For starters, I ordered the eggplant, and my hubby ordered the melon salad. Both were probably the best starters we had on the entire trip. My eggplant was perfectly roasted and extremely flavorful. Don't think I've ever had eggplant prepared better than that. My hubby's salad was so refreshing. The dressing complimented and brought out the sweetness of the cantaloupe. Our entrees were just as delicious. I had the braised duck with mashed potatoes. At first I was confused because all I saw was a mound full of mashed potatoes on my plate, but a HUGE serving of super tender duck was buried underneath. My hubby had a steak with roasted veggies. The meat was cooked perfectly and had a very flavorful sauce. For dessert, we got the profiterole with hazelnut ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. Hands down, the best profiterole I've ever had. Definitely a must for dessert. Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were actually pretty generous. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. I'm so glad we came here. We picked this place because of its proximity to the the Eiffel Tower, (we wanted to catch the light show after dinner). As soon as we walked in I had a good feeling. We were warmly welcomed and the decor is rustic, with brick and old wooden beams and a beautiful old chandelier in the main area. And the food was great. We skipped an appetizer and went right for the main course. My husband and I rarely get the same meal, but we did here. We both loved our grilled cod and vegetables. The cod has a great, tangy salsa on top that added a lot of flavor. I tried to get a little in every bite. It was one of those meals that I really took my time on, to make it last longer. We ended our night with a chocolate lava cake that was super yummy! We started at 7:30 and by the time we left around 9:00 the place was packed. Good mix of locals and visitors. The man who I assume is the owner / manager was very friendly and seemed to stop by every table to see how everything was going with all his guests. read more

This Resturant provided a very satisfying lunch experience. After visiting the grand opening of the newly renovated Rodin museum we strolled over for a look at Napoleons tomb. Wow, that will work up an appetite! So, I fired up Yelp and noticed a well reviewed place close. After walking a long distance in Paris that morning I was ready for some good French wine and food. Pasco did not disappoint. Everything from the sea bass appetizer to the filet mignon to the exquisite desert and espresso was prepared and served exquisitely. Ate at Pasco last weekend in Paris. We made reservations through Trip Advisor (super easy) and were seated immediately at a quaint little outdoor table. The food was great, but the service was phenomenal. Our server and the manager both guided us through the menu and recommended a great bottle of wine. All four of us got the three part (app, entree, dessert). I highly recommend doing this, as the portion sizes were large and the value was great. At our table, for appetizers we had the gazpacho, buffalo mozzarella/cantaloupe and the eggplant. All were incredible - but the cantaloupe was literally the best I've ever eaten. Main entrees were the duck breast and the beef tartare. Finally, we tried the profiterole, chocolate mousse and cheese for dessert. The cheese was just okay- a bit weird as a dessert and nothing special. Highly recommend the profiterole which comes with a shot of chocolate sauce to pour over it, and the chocolate mousse was rich and delicious. Overall, a great restaurant! Highly recommend! read more

I've eaten at Pasco five or six times over the years, for both lunch and dinner, by myself and with my daughter. Every meal I've had here has been excellent. The emphasis here is on the fresh ingredients of Southern France--you'll find no heavy, buttery, creamy sauces here. Everything is prepared with a masterful touch that lets the high quality of the ingredients shine through. The fish dishes are not to be missed.The owner is always on hand with a warm, unpretentious greeting. The review is for the icy treatment we received at the door. We arrived almost an hour before closing. We had come back to our hotel from an all day bus tour and just wanted a warm meal. We stood awkwardly at the entrance with no greeting as we tried to flag someone down. I felt they were actively trying to ignore us. Finally, one of them looked down at her watch, shook her head, said very coldly, "closed," then walked off. Didn't invite us to return or offer take-away options, not that we cared at that point. We ended up walking over to Le Bosquet, which is open until 11:30 pm, is way more tourist-friendly, has good food, and takes customers pretty much up until the time they say they will. Despite this being the closest restaurant to our hotel, we refused to go there out of principle during our entire week long stay. read more

We went for a late lunch after the Rodin Museum. Pros: the mushrooms with the poached egg on top was one of my top dishes in Paris. I still dream of it. The foie gras was good, but the toast was quite burnt (not beyond edible though). The location was great, and the place was full of happy French people. Loved that. Cons: pork loin was quite dry. This place was recommended by some other Americans that had recently been to Paris. They said they had a really great server and some really great food. Specifically, there was a duck appetizer and a duck main course they recommended. We made our way there on the Metro, and found that the menu had changed...no duck to be found anywhere. As many restaurants do, they had a fixed price for a "pick one appetizer, pick one main course and pick one dessert", which is what we did. I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. I've been to Paris a half-dozen times, and this was one of the best meals I've ever had in town. They have different menus ("formules") available on various days, and on Sundays it's a three-course meal including wine for €37.50. I ordered foie gras, beef with a pepper sauce (side of mashed potatoes), and pineapple carpaccio. All of the courses were excellent! In particular, the beef was so tender and flavourful. It was a wonderful way to spend my last night in Paris before heading home. The half-bottle of wine they included is a house wine - so nothing special, but it paired nicely with the meal. The service was excellent, too and the waiters were attentive to clearing the table and making sure that my glass was full. They also threw in a free bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling water. This was our 2nd visit to Pasco. We learned about this wonderful restaurant from the Hotel Le Walt when we stayed there 3 yrs ago. Def happy we returned on this trip. The eggplant appetizer could have been my meal ("just bring me another!"), so flavorful with a light pesto over the top and goat cheese sandwiched in between two slices of eggplant that you can cut with a fork. Yum! My husband had the tomato gazpacho starter which he really enjoyed (but if you're not a bell pepper fan, stay away ). He ordered the beef skewers--extremely well prepared (med rare, for him), and tasty. I enjoyed the spinach ravioli with ricotta (but added salt & pepper for more my taste). Very delicate and perfect proportion. €33 ea either starter, main & dessert! Nice price, too! This will be on our list next trip to Paris, I'm sure. read more

After doing intense research looking for a nice, but not too pricey restaurant near the Tour Eiffel, I found a mention of Pasco. Unfortunately, when we got there, they didn't have a table outside, however after the owner saw our disappointment, made sure to give us a table as close to the outside as possible. Turns out, the space inside is incredibly welcoming and very well designed. The owner was very friendly, and literally explained every item on the menu. (we don't speak French). The FOOD. Incredible. This is a great restaurant with delicious foods!!! Super friendly owner and staff. They speak English very well so they can get exactly what you want on the menu. Excellent customer service! We ordered appetizer quiche and eggplant, entree steak, swordfish dish, and desserts. I love everything we ordered except for the eggplant which has goat cheese. I'm not a fan of goat cheese that's why. The meshed potatoes oh my gosh! It was so delicious too! You must come to try it yourself! :) read more

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I made a reservation for 7 pm but thought I would not make it so I cancelled it and made another, seconds after cancelling the first one at 7; I made another reservation at 8 pm. When I arrived at 8 pm the greeter made me aware because I had cancelled the first reservation he filled the restaurant and could only accommodate me by seating me outside. What I did not understand was why would my reservation be accepted if I could not be seated comfortably? Terrible customer service and will never return. read more

Only 1/2 block from Napoleon's Tomb, Pascos is a pleasant 1 and 1/2 hour fine dining experience at moderate cost. Great service, presentation and although it can get $$$ their $36 fixed price selections are a real bargain. Dining out is a nice thing to do... And when at Pasco that is exactly the feeling I get. I like the restaurant and the way it presents itself. In summer when the evenings are warm enough there is an outside terrace to sit on directly on the street, but still you feel you have enough privacy (it's situated in the heart of the 7th, so not that busy there anyways...). Inside they manage they create a cozy atmosphere which is extraordinary seeing that the decoration actually is not typically aimed at being cozy. My favourite place is the table on the right hand side immidiately when you come in (great when you're with a party of 4), and when with a bigger group they have a really nice upstairs mezzanine. The food is quality, good wines and good meat (what more can a guy ask for), and for this quality you pay, but all things considered it's a fair price. read more

Was near our hotel and when we saw a night they had open tables, we hurried over. Got there on the late side but they seated us immediately. Everything was excellent, from the foie gras to the duck confit, the spicy leg of lamb, all winners. Fantastic chocolate cake w/pistachio ice cream to end the night. Service was excellent, they gave us English and French menus so we could at least try to order in French. A terrific experience, definitely need reservations if you are going during prime hours. We were looking for a restaurant for our last night in Paris, made more complicated by the fact that many places are closed on Sunday, and found this on Yelp. Their menus, especially on Sunday, are very reasonably priced. Almost everything we had was excellent. The flavor profile of everything was excellent. The shrimp risotto was amazing. Our only complaint was that the duck was over cooked - the server suggested medium and it came out the toughest duck we had ever had. Some of it may have been that the duck did not appear to be sliced in the way to make it most tender and did not have a ton of fat, so it might have been as much sourcing as cooking, but even then, the flavors were well done. 37 euro for appetizer, main, dessert, and a half bottle of wine - great! read more
