Very cute instagramable shop. We did the express cafe and it was great. Got our macaroons which had fun names and they were delicious. Coffee was also very good. They have several locations even inside the airport so great franchise.
There was a bit of a wait but it's a must touristy visit while in Paris. Very cute cafe. The Macarons were decent. Cafe au lait was good. Cute decor
We went for high tea and it was exceptional food and service from beginning to end. We had so many delectible treats from savory to sweet in a beautiful setting and doting service. My kids loved it. This is the high tea to go to in Paris.
I stopped by Ladurée and it honestly felt like stepping into a little piece of Parisian elegance. The place is beautifully decorated and has that soft, dreamy atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy the moment. Staff was friendly , wetried a few macarons and they were light, delicate, and full of flavour without being too sweet. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the experience,the presentation, the taste, and the vibe, makes it feel special, especially if you're visiting or treating yourself.
The wait to be seated was long, which may turn away many people. However in my opinion all good things are worth the wait! This was no exception. From the moment you are taken back to the whole dining experience to when you leave you feel a certain way that you really can't put a price on. Maybe its the stunning decor or the immaculate service perhaps even the food but actually i think it may be the whole experience in itself. Want to get treated like royalty, then do yourself a favor and add this location to your list! That omelette may look plain but i promise you it was one of the fluffiest omelettes i have ever tried. The bread service was spectacular and the hot chocolate compared to many of the other viral places. Now for my romance girlies that enjoy great photo ops, this place has so many! Even a mirrored staircase perfect for photos! I came here to celebrate my birthday brunch and I believe it to be a great place for any special occasion!
Located on the beautiful Champs-Elysees. Lovely pastel decor with cases full of bright delicate macarons! Laudree is known as a boutique tea house & known for their macarons, but we had a wonderful lunch! Laduree vol-au-vent was delicious & outstanding presentation. A few glasses of wine and finished lunch with delicious macarons & espresso. Lovely location, lovely atmosphere & lovely food makes Laudree Champs Elyses a must go to spot!
This should be on everyone's bucket list when they visit Paris if they love macaroons! It's a cool tea room and the decorations are on point here. We did not get a chance to sit down because the line was too long and there was also a reservations list. Thankfully, we were able to walk around the corner and go order directly to the counter to order, and we were able to find some open seating. There was so many different flavors. I was kind of overwhelmed because there were so many options and I just wanted them all, but I couldn't swallow the price lol. I would still recommend experiencing it and trying them out. They're really good as far as texture and the flavors!
Just wow. Laduree has been on my bucket list for years now. I am so glad that I was able to make it during my Paris visit. This place is amazing. Ambiance is like a fairy tale story. It is decorated in the most loving and amazing way. They have the cutest chairs and they have the nicest color(green). This cafe is usually by reservation based on my understanding, since there can be a long waiting time. We were lucky to get in with no reservation. Host told us the wait will be around 20 to 30 minutes which was fine with us. We were seated within the promised timeframe. Our server's name was Sunam. I hope I spelled his name correctly. He was amazing and he went above and beyond in providing customer service. I can give him 10 stars for the amazing service. For food, we ordered macaroons and coffee drinks. They were all out of this world. Macaroons were so flavorful and tasty. They were the best ones I have ever had. I would suggest asking your server for recommendations since they know which ones are the best. We asked our server for suggestions, the ones he suggested were the best one we had. All the staff were nice and friendly. We didn't have any issues with ordering and waiting time. This was an incredible experience for me. If I am back in Paris, I will go back to this cafe and try new flavors of macaroons.
tl;dr at their best, these macarons are unlike any you've ever experienced; however, for the least exciting flavors, it may be hard to swallow the $3 price Macarons were toward the top of my list of must-try Parisian eats, and the two shops that seemed to top every list were Ladurée and Pierre Hermé. Of the two, Laduree is better known for its classic flavors -- no surprise, since the brand was established in 1862 and is often credited for inventing the modern macaron. Nowadays, Laduree shops can be found across the city. I first visited the outpost near the Latin Quarter. Wooden tables and woven chairs sit underneath the forest-green awning. Indoors, the warmly lit indoor space encapsulates Parisian upscale cafe vibes: white marble surfaces, checkboard floor, minimalistic lime-green color palette, and classical music. The queue loops past a bright pastry display and a rainbow of macarons. Across all varieties, I was impressed by the light, slightly crisp cookies and full-bodied flavor. The moderate-sized pastries will each last a few modest bites. My favorite flavor was the Cafe, with a taste that rivaled a premium espresso beverage and a hint of brown sugary sweetness. I also enjoyed the eye-catchingly blue Marie Antoinette, which reminded me of a sophisticated iced tea with lemon. The only flavor that I didn't fancy was the Fromboise, which felt oddly artificial. Service is efficient, and there is no challenge for a non-native speaker. At nearly $3 per macron, a flight of flavors will quickly add up. Nonetheless, both the price and quality are better than similar shops in the States. Be sure to stop in -- even if just for a single, on-the-go macaron in the airport.
This so maybe the most elaborate Ladurée I've been to, I guess smack on Champs- Élysées what would you expect? It's spacious with tempting displays upon entry. Sprawling downstairs with a red carpeted stair that leads upstairs. Delicious pastries and sweets. I decided upon champagne with mine. Lively ambiance, good service. Might be a little wait to get in. Worth it.
Beautiful restaurant with faux flowers a bloom throughout and an adorable mint green decor. We didn't have reservations so the line was long but the wait worth it for the delicious macarons, tiramisu and drinks
The magic of having a perfect macaron on champs Élysées while looking at the arc de triomph is unlike any other. I have had several macarons around France and the world but I have yet to taste one as perfectly crafted as the ones at laduree. The flavours of rose, lychee, lavender or just plain chocolate are all made with the best quality ingredients and prove consistency across the board. You truly can't go wrong with any flavour you choose but make sure to spend a pretty penny for these pretty little treats. I promise your tastebuds will be thanking you even if your bank account doesn't.
Macarons are always a treat, and you can't go wrong with the ones from Ladurée. The store by Champs-Élysée is absolutely charming, and the elegant green or pink boxes evoke the feeling of old Paris. There's usually a long line at this iconic store. Always great to bring back right before you depart from CDG since they also have kiosks at the airport.
THE FOOD ------------------ + THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different. read more

I've had Laduree in LA and NYC, but couldn't have visited Paris without stopping by a location! This location on Champs-Élysées has one side for sitting inside and ordering with a waiter/waitress, and another side for a quick grab and go cart and outdoor seating. We opted for the outdoor version at the cart. We got the 12 macaron box with the cutest Le Petit Prince collaboration box! The person at the cashier spoke fluent English and was extremely friendly and helpful in picking what to get. Laduree macarons are always so chewy and delicious, melting in your mouth! Standout flavors were salted caramel, passion fruit, and almond. read more

Ladurée is famous for its macarons; however, my heart was stolen by the Eugénie cookies! They were sensational, especially the Fruit Rouge! The combination of flavors and textures was a taste revelation!! The customer service was top-notch: questions answered, photos taken, samples offered. I had a lovely and memorable experience! read more

I came here after listening to a review in Rick Steve's tours. The restaurant is very beautiful with pistachio and pink decor, gorgeous chandeliers, art deco motifs and gentile waitstaff. My partner and I ordered the hot chocolate and four macarons. The hot chocolate was thick and very decadent and was served in hot tea kettle's with a bowl of fresh whipped cream. All the macarons were delicious, especially the pistachio, my favorite, Amazing experience! read more
Ladurée stores are located in various places over the city. They are specifically known for their macaroons. I visited a few of their stores and they are all really nice and clean. The staff at all of them were also very friendly. I felt this store had a larger selection of macaroons. It also had a full restaurant that you can dine at. I grabbed some macaroons and one of their most popular jams. All very delicious!! I'd recommend stopping at a Ladurée store and grabbing some macaroons! read more

Iconic. Something you must do in your Paris visit. However I did miss the old decor and footprint before they added the restaurant and cafe. It doesn't feel as special and grand as it used to. I do like the new added gift items tho0ugh an I'm mad at myself for not buying a few of them while I was there. They are all expensive obviously but I do wish I had gotten a reusable tote and water bottle (both around $30-$50 UDS) They have a "new" flavor - the signature flavor they are calling it. I say "new". because it was not a thing the last time I was in Paris (but that was 10 years previous this trip. I get it and it was really good but ti is bright Smurf blue so I could see it being off-putting. It was good, kind of floral, I would get it again but only one. I wish I remembered the name. I would book the resturant next time just to have the experience but I imagine it woud be a bit overpriced for the novelty. You are not allowed to walk upstairs to see it without a reservation. We walked in about an hour before close on a Tuesday evening and there was no line or wait for the classic counter, and there were plenty of tables available for the cafe (though we did not do that on this trip) read more

While on a trip to Paris with my mother, I wanted to make sure that we had the opportunity to stop by and try Ladurée. After doing some shopping nearby, we stopped in to pick up some macarons. The place was absolutely packed, with everyone wanting to partake in their Bridgerton-themed tea service. The line for the shop moved quickly, and we purchased a box of six different macarons to try. I believe the flavors we bought were vanilla, pistachio, coffee, salted caramel, smoked vanilla, and chocolate. The macarons were alright, but you can tell that they are now mass produced and overly commercialized. If I am going to splurge on a macaron, I would much rather purchase it from a small local business and truly be able to taste the authenticity. These macarons tasted artificial in their flavoring, but they make for a pretty picture. read more

I've always enjoyed picking up pastries and macarons from Laduree when in New York, but the flagship store seems to be the Parisian fantasy of my dreams as a little girl. It's pastels, frills, puffy little pastries, perfect little porcelain dishes and even the Bridgerton soundtrack playing throughout the store. Aside from the macarons and pastries that are quite exquisite, it's a great place for a quiet breakfast after a stroll along the Champs-Elysees. Make sure you plan some time in your trip for an actual meal at Laduree, not just stopping in for a pastry (or seven). read more
I always come here when I come to Paris for work. Each experience is amazing. I've never had dinner here just came for the desserts, especially the macaroons. I'll update when I actually set down to eat. There are times (because I've been several times) that the wait is a little long to get in or the line is long but it sooooo worth it. I've had many desserts here and every single one of them was delicious and so good. The bakery is amazing! I'm not a big fan of macaroons in general but I'll eat these up because they are the best ones! Every dessert you eat, you can definitely taste all the flavors, and the fruit. I hate chocolate, so I never ate anything chocolate but brought chocolate for my husband and friends and they said it was really good and moist. The staff was all so amazing and nice and helped with any question you have or helped with decisions, because there's so much to chose from. They also move really fast! The place is so cute, everything about is cute inside and instagram picture worthy. I always have a great time here and it's a must stop for me when I'm here in Paris. read more
Beautiful restaurant, great location, and amazing service!!! We came here for brunch! The omelet was made to perfection but what I wanted to talk about is the hot chocolate! It is hot dark chocolate, great texture and thick! You can't find this every where even in Paris! The creamy is lightly sweeten. Had every ounce of it! read more

Best macaroons we ever tried! Expensive, but worth it! We visited Ladurée on 75 Av. des Champs-Élysées in August 2023, during our tour in Paris. Ladurée was listed in all Paris guides as #1 macaroons place and it turned out to be the one! Macaroons were super fresh, soft, and melting in the mouth. They were expensive but were certainly worth it! Ladurée is a must try! read more

It was my first time to have breakfast at this place. Came in with no reservation but didn't have to wait that long to be seated. (Luckily April wasn't crazy time in Paris). This place looks really cute and fancy, also very colorfu. I hate that I can't remember the name of the breakfast food that we ordered, but it's Salmon (I believe it was smoked) with soft cheese and lime on the side. The other one was a sandwich with avocado inside. We also ordered chocolate croissant and macarons together with Laduree signature lattes. It wasn't a cheap breakfast but a great one for sure. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food and ambiance. I highly recommend this place :) read more

I waited online for about 20 Minutes, it was worthed, the macaron at this gem melt in my mouth. They have different flavor for all of your taste. I had 8 macarons they packed it nicely. I got served like an imperial customer. Shopping at la durée it's an experience. They also have different type of dessert I got the palmier, flacky, caramelise and melting in your mouth. read more

You cannot go to Paris without popping into this beautiful shop for an amazing dessert. We were in town in the spring and had an opportunity to utilize their outdoor seating, which provided an amazing view of the Champs-Elysees. The service was friendly and everything we tried was excellent and also beautiful. We also grabbed a box of macarons to go! read more
We were strolling on Champs-Élysées and decided to stop by Laduree for some coffee and a light snack. When we arrived, they were still setting up the outside dining so we stood in line to dine in. The line moved slow but when we finally got to go upstairs to the dining area, we were in awe with the decor. After a few quick photos, we looked at the menu. Mink ordered a Croissant with a Cappuccino while I just had a Double Espresso and we shared 6 Macaroons. We were able to choose the 6 flavors we wanted to try so our server walked me over to their display case to choose since we didn't know which ones to choose. It was a quiet atmosphere and everyone was dining leisurely so we enjoyed our visit accordingly. 6 Macaroons was a lot and we only finished 3. They brought us a small take out box when we asked for the check. This is definitely a great spot for photos and macaroons. read more

Elegant French pastry and Brunch place. Went early without reservations and luckily got in with a few minutes wait. Service is excellent and decor is superb. Omelette has a velvety texture. Waffle is tasty with a surprise macaroon. A great experience in Paris. read more

Laduree is a must-stop if you are looking for over-the-top, fancy, Instagrammable macarons. We were so excited to visit and ended up waiting in a very long line for around 30 minutes before ordering. Once it is your turn to order, you have SO many options - it really is hard to choose! We got an assortment of macarons and thought they were all incredible. My personal favorite was the pistachio, but you really can't go wrong! I definitely recommend stopping in if you are visiting the area, but I know that there are many local places that have amazing macarons as well - with less of a line and hype. read more
