Macaroon

A cute little shop that we came across on our stroll near the Sacré coeur! They had so many different flavors of macaroons and the two that we got were very yummy so you probably can't go wrong with any of them! It was a nice sweet treat for the walk and the service was quick and very nice.

While in Montmarte we grabbed some sweet delicious treats - a little over priced but the desserts were delicious so all in all a favorable experience

Absolutely delicious! The only thing I regret is not having purchased more.

Absolutely loved it! The only thing I regret is NOT having purchased MORE!!! Loved it so much, I'm thinking about going back and making the trip from the US to Paris just to get to eat these sweet treats one more time.

Great biscuiterie for delicious macaroons in many flavors! We walked by early in the morning as we made our way to the Louvre museum. It's in a great location and easy to access. Staff was super friendly and was willing to help us out even though we didn't speak French. The presentation of their products is perfect for souvenirs and/or presents to take to your loved ones. I highly recommend the macaroons!

Amazing Biscuiterie in the heart of Montmartre! They have a delicious variety of flavored macarons, each one constructed to perfection! My husband and I treated ourselves to some on our first trip to Paris together. He also brought some back from his most recent trip to Paris! The Lemon and Strawberry macarons are my favorite! The chocolate ones taste like Nutella! Indulge! ENJOY!

For those that know me, I am obsessed with macaroons. Especially Parisian ones. There is something satisfying and magical about this small, delicate, colorful biscuits. When I visited Paris, I knew I wanted to go to Laduree but we had a visit to artsy Montmartre. I was pleased to discover the Biscuiterie de Montmartre. It's a small shop with lots of sweets, treats, and macarons. They speak English, though it's polite to ask if they do. They were so nice too! I ordered 12 macarons (Coconut to Raspberry) and bought a small box to hold them in. Macarons are not inexpensive, however, I didn't pay an exorbitant amount like I would at Laduree. I still dream of the soft, perfect texture of these tiny treats. If Paris weren't so far... This is my new Macaron spot when I visit the City of Lights. If you find yourself in Montmartre, make sure you visit this little gem.

So after an amazing day of gazing over the city of Paris high atop the Sacre Coeur, what is a poor girl to do? Wind your way around to Biscuiterie de Montmartre on the way home. You need sustenance. and beauty. I purchased a selection of biscuits. Intended to take two packages back as gifts. One person in the USA will never, ever know how delectable they are, how beautiful and carefully crafted, how nice they will go with a cup of tea. They are rich with butter and not overtly sweet. I hope they can send a tin to me on a monthly basis. And the caramels. I took a risk on the caramel pop. I should have bought more than two. Kicking myself all the way across the pond.

It's on a very busy tourist trek along the way toward Sacré-Cœur. Never really know about macaroons until I went in here and actually bought some. All of the flavors are amazing though- chocolate, caramel, vanilla, pistachio, blueberry... expensive but definitely worth it.

All I need is a cup of hot tea and a stash of delicious macaroons and then I'll be in heaven! It's a very cute little shop and it has many different flavor options for macaroons. My favorite was the Pistachio Macaroon and believe me I can easily eat 20 just like that... can I just go back and get some more pleaseeeee. Mark my words macaroons here in America are not the same in Paris.

Good but not great macarons across from the Louvre. I've had better. I opted for the caramel, raspberry, pistachio, vanilla and chocolate. I wish I would've taken a local Parisians advice and headed to Laduree, I'm told the macarons there melt in your mouth and instantly take all your troubles away. The service here is absolutely top notch. They also excel in presentation, as you have several options to choose from: Individual macarons at €1.70 each, 6 or 12 macarons between €12-24 each. I opted for 6 macarons. They were placed in a beautiful black keepsake. Wonderful Parisisn memorabilia.

The shop is in a great place, near Sacre Coeur and by other restaurants and a few gelato places...sugar high?? Umm...yeah! But there are restaurants you can eat slowly, have some wine and let it all settle until you hit the next shop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. One spoke great, and the other not-so-much. But I was trying my French out and we had a fun time understanding each other. (The one who spoke English very well was around if we needed her) They were patient as we tried to decide which of the beautiful macarons we would take home. It's a good problem to have when they all look amazing. Tip: Ask the staff what their favorite is! We did and got two very different answers. The one girl didn't like the other one's favorite, but that's just having different taste...so we got both and then a few we knew we wanted. They were so tasty and being our first taste of French macarons in Paris, it was a great experience. From walking in the door to eating all the macarons in our apartment, it was all good. Highly recommended!

Macarons here are amazing, slightly crisp on the outside with airy texture in the middle Tried the pistachio, caramel, raspberry, and blueberry flavors and all were fantastic. It's located near Basilique du Sacré-Cœur church (Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris) in the hills with all the cool shops and artists selling their original work. The area looks really nice and cozy. This area really lets you know you are in France.

An Amazing Biscuiterie amongst many in Paris! The Macaroons are Delicious with their airy, crispy, yet sensual texture! The biscuits are butter perfection as well! I ate Macaroons there, in the hotel room, and I brought some home. That's how good they are. What truly does separate this biscuiterie from the rest, is It's location. A scenic walk through Charming, narrow cobblestone streets lined with creperies and gift shops, lead you up to their quaint store. A perfect stop along your way to see the Sacre Coeur. I highly recommend this biscuiterie!

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

They were ok but nothing to write home about. The young lady in the front was also ok but not very friendly or engaging. This location is one of many mouth-watering stands inside of the Galeries Lafayette food hall. Their glass cases are full of bright and colorful, beautiful pastries and sweets to swoon over as you decide what to order. From macarons to cakes to chocolates, there's a variety to choose from! I already knew that I wanted to try their macarons; I ordered the matcha, hojicha, and black sesame, while the boyfriend ordered the genmaicha and wasabi. The flavors were outstanding for each one! I was pleasantly surprised at how perfectly the matcha and black sesame flavors especially came through in macaron form. I also ordered a small pot of their yuzu sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious! Again, the yuzu flavor translated very well into sorbet form. My only wish was that the container was bigger... Prices were as expected - 1,80€ per macaron and 3,00€ for the sorbet cup - but as rare unique treats, I felt that they were worth the cost to try! It's also a bit less than the big bakeries such as Laduree. Can't wait until the next time I have the chance to stop by a Sadaharu Aoki to indulge in other new desserts!
