So good we had to have a bite before taking a photo!!

Stopped in for a tea & sandwich for a picnic on the Champ de Mars and so glad we did. We ordered the chicken sandwich and it was wonderful! Fast service and the staff was so friendly. The restaurant was beautiful inside too! We will definitely be back!

This little corner shop is FANTASTIC. For an American visiting France this place is a must. The service is 10/10. The gentleman who helped us didn't speak much English but we made do! We had the three cheese sandwich and a ham and cheese which were both fresh. Then we had the French cheesecake and a strawberry tart. This place is affordable but delicious. I wish I could try everything.

A very nice decorated boulangerie/pâtisserie. All the pastries looked appealing. This rating is only for the Savarin. I was extremely disappointed. The syrup was too sweet and had no rum. Une jolie boulangerie patisserie au décor agréable . Cette appréciation est seulement pour le Savarin. Le sirop était trop sirupeux et n avait aucun parfum de rum.

Not sure how the French remain so svelte with breakfast options like these. Choices like this are so difficult because with all the beautiful, skillfully crafted and delicious options, it is only natural to want to try one of everything. After careful consideration, I chose a Paris-Brest amande, and a smoked salmon and arugula sandwich for breakfast, as well as a cappuccino. The sandwich and pastry were the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The cappuccino was silky smooth and easily one of the best I've had anywhere... not to mention that it was absolutely gorgeous. Almost too pretty to drink. I had to take away a star because the older lady in the shop is a bit rude. The rest of the staff are ok, but the old chick definitely has a bit of an attitude. Nevertheless, this has easily become my go-to breakfast spot in Paris. Only a few short hours to go until my next petit déjeuner...

My first trip to Paris couldn't be any better! And just a few feet from our lovely hotel ... here's just one of our breakfasts! Skip restaurants you'll be disappointed but hit ever deli and boulangerie possible!! You'll see what mean! I cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful experience for an American in Paris ! I enjoyed the delicious food with many choices. The bread was fresh and dessert was a perfect balance to end the meal. They have nice outdoor tables and chairs to eat and people watch. The restaurant is located with a easy walk down to the RER and in fantastic Paris neighborhood. Merci !

Amazing! Let me just say that before having pastries here I believed that macarons were the best French pastry! I was wrong! Everything sold at this location looks and tastes incredible. Seriously, and the prices are so reasonable. They also have the best baguettes I've ever tasted. The baguettes are warm and fresh out of the oven and I think they are only 1 euro. After eating French pastries in Paris it is so difficult to have anything else compare to the taste or the presentation. If you get a chance, come have something here, anything. Chances are it will probably be delicious.

Food and ambience was great! The coffee was particularly good!! It gets very crowded so plan your wait for a seat or take to go.

Decent food and decent coffee. Friendly service. Open earlier than others. So it is worth visiting if the other places aren't open.

Angelina, Paris, France -- April 12…read more Our family of four with kids ages 9 and 10 stopped here for lunch after visiting the Louvre, drawn in by its reputation for having the best hot chocolate in the world. We were looking for a place to relax and refuel, and the experience felt a bit mixed overall. Arrival and First Impressions The space is elegant with classic Parisian charm. The line moved quickly, and we were seated with a great view of the dining room. It felt refined but still comfortable. The Highlights The famous hot chocolate lived up to expectations, thick, rich, and almost more like a dessert than a drink. We also had French onion soup and an éclair, both of which were very good. The pastries were clearly well made and thoughtfully prepared. The kids had chicken tenders, which they enjoyed, even though the tomato sauce was a bit different from what they expected. The Challenges The biggest drawback was the price. The meal felt expensive for what we ordered, coming in at €154 for a fairly simple lunch. Service felt slightly rushed as they moved tables along quickly. Final Thoughts We would likely return if we were nearby and specifically craving the hot chocolate again. It is a classic Paris stop and worth trying once, but the value may not justify going out of your way unless that signature experience is high on your list.

So Angelina's fine. For me, it's a bit hyped up. My sister, loved it. She even bought their…read moreprepackaged bottle of hot chocolate to take home. This hot chocolate is decadent. It really tastes like melted chocolate with a bit of milk mixed in to make it more drinkable. We went at a bit of an off time, late morning and it wasn't overly busy. We saw our server once and I couldn't recall who he was when it came time to get the bill. I asked a hostess walking by for our check and she told me to ask our server while walking away. We were able to flag another server down eventually but the whole process just took too long. The tables for four have chairs that don't quite tuck in causing for a bit awkward seating. If you like really thick hot chocolate, give it a try but otherwise ok to miss this one. Plenty of good hot chocolate throughout the city.

My friend and I were seated after milling around for a few minutes; we got the last available table which was right in front of the kitchen and we could see the food being prepared, which was pretty neat. Another group that came in just after us was turned away. The lunch menu had a pretty wide variety of items, all under €20, including omelets, burgers, steak, and salads. My friend is vegan but has had to be a bit flexible with it while living in Paris. She wanted to order the "salade végétarienne," but was told by the waitress that it was not served on Saturdays. There didn't appear to be anything else vegan- or vegetarian-friendly on the menu. However, the chef offered to whip up a salad with just vegetables; since we were conveniently seated right in front of him, he was able to call out to my friend before putting things on the salad, to make sure she was okay with it. My friend ended up getting a salad with a generous amount of tomatoes and green beans (and a dairy-looking dressing, but she hadn't really emphasized the non-dairy part of her diet so it wasn't really the chef's fault), which she was able to enjoy. They also gave her free fries, since she didn't have meat, which was a thoughtful touch. I ordered the tartare italien, which also came with fries. It was really tasty and well seasoned, and the portion size was honestly quite big; I wasn't able to finish it. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a warm, cozy ambiance, with tables close together, as is typical for Paris. Definitely a solid place to get a filling, affordable meal in Paris. I was able to pay with my American Mastercard without any issues.

I had steak tartare and it was on the sweet side but the best we had this trip.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location.
