After a week of traveling around europe my wife and I wanted somthing a little lighter for dinner so she found this seafood place. We ended up ordering one of the platter for 2 which came with shrimp, oysters, clams, snails, and langostinos. Overall we found the seafood to be fresh, and really enjoyed the shrimp, oysters, and clams. We found the langostinos to be over cooked and "dry" and didnt necessarily care for the snails, not that they were bad or anything just not our favorite shellfish. The staff here is very friendly and honest, as i accidentally left my bag there and didnt realize it until i got back to my hotel. When i called back to the restaurant they had my bag and nothing was missing, thank god, that could have been a disaster as i had my passport in there and was leaving the next day. read more

OMG, what a hidden gym! I mean, we expected the food to be good cause ... well it's Paris. But when you walk in and see this little store-front type you start to reconsider. We were so excited to experience good seafood, this was not it. All the food had been previously frozen and was very watery. It was served it with a vinegar mixture, which honestly, would not be my choice to put on crab/lobster and shrimp. It was great for the oysters. We asked for melted butter and were told then didn't have any. The snails were cold (everything was cold) and inedible. They didn't have red wine, only white and rose, kind of weird. The amount of tarragon in the hot shrimp starter was just perfect--it can go overboard so fast! Our table of oyster aficionados all thought they were the best, biggest, and freshest we'd ever had. I don't know how on earth we finished all the food except for self shame if we'd left a morsel behind. But above the food was the service. The man and woman taking care of our table were just the epitome of hospitality. We had a special bottle of Champagne we were taking with us to the Eiffel after dinner. We ordered a seafood platter that consisted of lobster, langoustines, huge crabs, large shrimp, some very tiny shrimp, whelks, clams, oysters. Wow it was so good, fresh and tasting of the ocean. We met the owner, she was so nice, recommended some wine and checked on us often. We dropped a few shrimps on the floor and she quickly ran over and tried to replace them but it was too much food for us anyway. Excellent seafood place. Friendly family owned and operated. The seafood is so fresh it does not need any thing but a bit of lemon. The shrimp were sweet unlike most shrimp you get in the US. The oysters were delicious and meaty. When I arrived by taxi the taxi driver could not get my card to work. I went in the restaurant and asked the owner for 20 euro so I could pay the taxi driver she gave it to me with no hesitation. I had her add it to my bill to pay her back. I had fond memories of having a seafood tower dinner in Paris (at some unknown restaurant 20 years ago) and figured it was about time to do it again. Langousta did not disappoint. The waiter(owner?) was super friendly and happy to serve us in English. He helped us order and described what everything was on the menu. The service was surprisingly fast and at least one other waiter would come by occasionally to check on us. My friends were picking the wine and the waiter insisted they try a couple before deciding. Pumpkin soup and clam appetizers were delicious and of course the seafood tower platter (a combination of the platou gourmand and an oyster platter) was huge, fresh and amazing. The oysters were large and the crab claws were the size of our hands. The gambas (giant prawns) were also a highlight. Easily the best seafood meal I have had anywhere. read more

I had trip to Paris on early April, found out this restaurant mainly serve seafood , decided to take a ride to this restaurant, we ordered a biggest seafood platter recommended by the owner, it was so wonderful and enough for four of us, service was great, on the next table there were four people were smoking, the owner asked me was minding people smoking next to us, I said yes, and she asked the next table to stop smoking very politely, the next table stopped smoking. The owner, Adrienne, was gracious and was very amenable to our requests, and his staff was also very friendly. This is fruit de mer, the freshest oysters, clams, lobster, shrimp, and seafood I can't name, from Brittany. There's even an oyster caught off of Omaha beach!!!! The food is awesome. We couldn't eat it all, so I would say a portion for two would easily satisfy three. Adrienne even has a bustling "to go" business, delivering this fine fare to your doorstep.
