OMG, what a hidden gym! I mean, we expected the food to be good cause ... well it's Paris. But when you walk in and see this little store-front type you start to reconsider. Take my word for it, DO NOT HESITATE! We came into Paris for a day of sightseeing and I asked yelp for a quick recommendation and it hit. We walked in and the owner was just opening the doors so we ate alone and had 3 servers (1 being the owner). Because we were short on time (90mins to eat) we quickly ordered the Plateau Duo and glass of Presseco. The owner brought out a plate in 5mins of assorted veggies and fresh bread. We killed it and will now have that dish at home. Next came the platter and we definitely knew defeat was in the works. More seafood than we could eat and it was all fresh and tasty. Go here, go here, GO HERE!

I consumed some of the freshest seafood I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is friendly the owners are amazing and speak multiple languages. They started us with the mackerel, which was crunchy and deliciously prepared and a tomato salad. They offer an impressive drink selection which includes "moonshine", that's what it tasted like. They are worth 10 stars.

Best seafood restaurant in Paris, the seafoods were so fresh, delicious. Madam Natalie (the owner) was super friendly.

5+ stars!! Best seafood restaurant in Paris, the seafoods were so fresh, delicious. Service was great! Madam Natalie (the owner) was super friendly and caring. Offered us plenty of ice to stay cool on a hot hot day. Will love to come back when we in Paris.

Fresh and wonderful seafood served by welcoming and warm people. It's a bit off the beaten path, but it is overwhelmingly reasonably priced and authentic. Seek this one out!

Grey shrimp, big prawns, Normandy oysters, and whelks are the best.

Prosciutto, hard boiled eggs, anchovies, and bread are served as appetizers for free. Services are super nice and friendly.

Had the best night at Langousta!! Food was spot on, Moët and Chandon was in the house and poured with ease and the service was state of the art!! Go and experience what Paris is all about with every bite. The owners and staff superb. It's a small place but be prepared to be WOW'ed!!!

Came here about 7pm. Perfect service Ordered the la rouge & European lobster I didn't really care for the Canadian lobster that came with the rouge but the European was really sweet and good. Shrimp was really good and oysters. The large number 2 . The service was superb. I can't wait to come b

I took my parents here for dinner tonight. We weren't super hungry, so we just ordered the Rouge Platter and 12 oysters. This was a perfect amount of food for the three of us when combined with the complimentary appetizers and bread. The food was excellent, and the service was literally the best I have ever had in Paris. Between the freshness of the various dishes and the attentiveness of the wait staff, I had to come leave a glowing review.

A small family owned establishment in a nice quiet neighborhood. I was in the mood for fresh langoustines (scampi) and this place showed up with great reviews. Tried to make reservations but seems like no one answers the phone when not open, I even tried to get the concierge at the hotel to call but no luck. He said they did not open until 6pm. We were site seeing that day and decided just to go there around 8pm and luckily they had plenty of room for us, a lot of people were just standing outside drinking. We ordered a seafood platter that consisted of lobster, langoustines, huge crabs, large shrimp, some very tiny shrimp, whelks, clams, oysters. Wow it was so good, fresh and tasting of the ocean. We met the owner, she was so nice, recommended some wine and checked on us often. We dropped a few shrimps on the floor and she quickly ran over and tried to replace them but it was too much food for us anyway. This is no flashy French foo foo place, just down to earth people with some great seafood. I recommend highly!

Love seafood? This is the spot! Located away from the crazy tourist area and perfect for a date spot. Make a reservation because all the tables were taken when I came at 630! Everyone was very welcoming and nice. You can tell it's a family of workers because everyone's helping each other out and eating and just enjoying themselves. I forgot which one I ordered but it was huge for two! The lady even told me but I didn't care and just wanted a buttload of seafood before I left. The platter came with one lobster, 2 dozen oysters, two types of shrimps, sea snail, razor clams, and more! It was fresh and everything tasted amazing! I finished almost majority of the platter except for the lobster claws. Worth the visit when in Paris!

An elegant upscale French cafe in the Sixteenth Arrondisement…read more The Sixteenth is known for being wealthy, old school conservative and elegant. Le Stella is expensive, serves French classics and executes magnificently. It is the neighborhood cafe for families who maintain a household staff and chauffeurs. They eat well. At Le Stella, you will eat well. * * * Most of the menu looks like it could be served in any cafe in the city. With a notable exception. The menu includes a vast array of seafood to be served as an appetizer. Some cafes will offer raw oysters. Le Stella will offer you a broad selection of oysters from which you may take your pick. The oysters are not even remotely cheap. Most of the tables were starting with seafood. I have generally been unhappy with the oysters I have gotten at everyday hoi polloi cafes. I strongly suspect that this is the place I want to go if the plan is to get my French aphrodisiacs. * * * I DID have the steak tartare. OH. MY. GOD. I have had a lot of steak tartare both in Paris and elsewhere in France. Nobody's version comes up to the standard of Le Stella. If you want to find out what steak tartare can do, This is where you want to order the dish. The beef itself was wonderful ... Which is not always a guarantee with the competition. What set the dish apart though was the flavoring. This was the spiciest and most stimulating steak tartare I have had in my life. It was not blow-the-top-of-your-head-off hot, like a dish with two cups of Thai green peppercorns. But my palate was hit with strong flavors of every type imaginable, As if a martial arts star was doing his signature fifteen move finisher in my mouth. There was strong yellow mustard powder. There was black pepper. There was green onion. There was horseradish. There was who knows what else? Each bite was absolutely strong and absolutely pungent. But each bite was also absolutely different. I never knew what was going to happen next. Just eating raw beef with some black pepper dumped in is no longer going to do it for me. I have seen the Holy Saint of Steak Tartare. No mortal Steak Tartare will ever rise to this level of divinity. * * * The wine cellar is also impressive. You can go all out and buy a bottle of a great vintage. (You can do that in many other French cafes too - Or for that matter - at the upscale wine stores which can be found every three or four blocks in Paris.) But what they sell by the glass is much better than most other cafes' "just-one-glass" choices. I had an first rate Beaujolais that was surprisingly reasonably priced. My wife was very happy with her fish. * * * I was watching my weight so I passed on the very attractive cheese and dessert options. As far as I could see, the only real lack was the bar whose spirit offerings were plebian and uninteresting. At Le Stella, you want to drink wine. Any other beverage is treated as a toss off. But sometime when my budget goes up and my waistline goes down, I would like to make a stab at their full menu. There were a lot of happy oyster eaters in that room.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! Our waiter was really amazing! I'm so annoyed I can't remember his name, receipt says "Mamady T. We arrived and were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We had a peek view of the Eiffel Tower from our table. I even got a great view of the tower from 1 of the bathrooms (stall at the far right end). Drinks: the pornstar martinis were amazing! We just continued ordering rounds of them. My friend also ordered a Mexican mule (Moscow mule but with tequila), he wasn't a big fan. The other guests ordered mocktails. Food: every single dish we ordered was amazing! Everything was delicious and flavorful, which was missing in a lot of the other restaurants we ate at in Paris. We ordered the entire appetizer menu of squid, codfish accras, lobster ravioli, and prawns. The lobster ravioli was the best! This could be an entree where you can enjoy a bigger portion. The Accras and prawns were really good and good portions. The squid was good but the portion was small, especially for the price. Entrees: we had the grilled octopus, lobster linguini, cod, and chicken with mashed potatoes. The octopus was the star of the show! It was nice and thick and cooked perfectly, not rubbery or chewy. It was served over a sweet potato mash/puree. It was good but I personally don't like sweet potato, so I would've preferred it over regular mashed potatoes. The lobster linguini was al dente perfection with nice chunks of lobster meat. The chicken was good and actually tasted better than it looks. I didn't try the cod but my friend said she enjoyed it.

The restaurant was pricey, but it was worth it to celebrate my best friends bday and first time in Paris. The lobster pasta was 10/10. The steak and fries were good but steak was slightly overcooked. The Crab salad was nice and refreshing- generous on the crab! Octopus was decent as well- great flavor but also slightly over overcooked. We also had a side of truffle pasta to try and it was solid. The best part was actually the dessert the passion fruit pavlova was a dream- fluffy light and bursting with flavor, it is my favorite dessert in Paris and Girafe does it well! Paris requires you to follow up with the staff when you need the bill- it's not rude, it's just how Paris is- they allow you to dine for as long as you want. Slow down and enjoy the pace of Paris!
