Came here on a rainy afternoon. Spent most of it in the Lafayette mall. The food court is fantastic with some amazing products. This seafood/fish place looked good. Lots of seafood on ice on display. We are a bit spoilt when it come to fish and seafood. Had lots of great products in Spain, Italy, Scotland or Northern France. And even this week in Paris (Restaurant Bofinger - amazing seafood platters). Our hopes were still up to get some nice and fresh seafood. Ordered two glasses of Chablis. A good choice. Fresh and crisp, matched the seafood well. Only 5.50 a glass. Had the seafood platter with 8x langoustines, 10x shrimp 1/2 of a crab, grey shrimp and seasnails. Also ordered half a dozen oysters No.2. The platter was ok. But the more we ate the more clear it was, that it wasn't prime and fresh seafood. Did taste a bit salty/smoky. Probably been pre-cooked for a while. Ok, but not great. Texture not amazing too. Not very fresh or overcooked a bit. Not sure which one. The oysters were a bit of a disappointment. Great in "Le Vrai Paris" this week, we had great ones in the Normandie, Scotland (Loch Fyne) and Ireland as well. But these here were just not fresh enough. And not meaty as well, just not much there. Especially for class No.2 oysters. If we wouldn't have had such great seafood before, we might have enjoyed this better. But it just fell short. Staff was nice though. And the price really fair. Just 80 Euros for everything. But I prefer to pay more for better quality.

As I was leaving the fromage de saison counter I spotted what might as well have been in neon lights, but in reality was merely in black text on a column near a seafood counter, what my lacking french ability still managed to translate in to "Happy Hour 6-8pm Oysters 1 euro!" My mind may have added the exclamation point on its own but regardless I was intrigued. As a turned the corner of the column to check out the bar the oysters others had ordered looked so good that I couldn't resist. I sat down and started with a glass of champagne and 6 oysters. The plump oysters were served with lemon wedges and a mignonette sauce which is THE absolute perfect accompaniments to the saltier that east coast US oysters (that seem to pair better with a horseradish-ey cocktail sauce). Loosen the oyster from the shell add a squeeze of lemon and only a couple of drops of the mignonette and slurp those suckers down. The combo made me audibly "mmmmm". So yeah the oysters are great but the fellas working at the counter are also energetic and friendly. They can help you if you only speak English but will appreciate any attempt that you make at French. After a few more glasses and a few more oysters I left full and frankly a little drunk. They do offer other seafood but after a certain hour (I assume when happy hour starts) they will only offer oysters. Normally 13 euro for 6 but at happy hour they are a steal at only a euro a piece. **I assume this only applies for weekdays.

very popular here. Need to wait if no reservation. Sea food is good and fresh. Want to try the desert next time. If somebody birthday, they will turn down the light and make a birthday song and provide cake with candle. Very sweet.

We love Fish Point, they have the best seafood at a reasonable price, we had to come back one last time before leaving Paris.

Wonderful fresh oysters, the seats are not particularly comfortable though, but the food is great!

But the actual food presented here would probably leave you hungry. The pink prawns are nothing more special than shrimps we ordinarily buy from stores. Mussels: each piece is so tiny, and the cream sauce flavor covered up what I wanted to taste- the mussel. The oysters were the only items that were decent. Very disappointed with the lobster roll. We have had lobster rolls in many places of the world, this one does not cut it. For 19 euros, I got maybe two bites of lobster and/ or crayfish meat inside of bread that was over-buttered and so doughy. Each time I chewed the bread it seemed to grow into a bigger bite in my mouth. Interestingly, someone else who also ordered the lobster roll had his bread partially cut off by the chef. Considering how this bread is, the cutting makes total sense. I later asked the chef why that one was done differently, he said: "No, it's done the same way. The bread was not cut smaller." (Although I had just walked pass the cutting board and there it was the rest of the bread still right there...) Likable restaurant concept, pretty photos on their website, but I wish I picked a different place for our special meal in Paris.
