Then I say Bravo, not so much for the quality of food but especially for a perfectly orchestrated marketing concept. First, you place "Royal" in your name, it immediately pretty rocks! You are settling place Madeleine, you can only be good fellowships. You take a filthy animal (the Kamchatka crab) which is an ecological disaster but with fine flesh and you sell it as the best crab in the world. It's bag and tag! Its good ? Let's be honest, it's not bad. Whether it is declined with a little olive oil and yuzu, cebette (name more nice than scallion, and prescribed by Alain Ducasse) or caramelized miso, it is tasted sweetly. Crabe Royal Assortiment 3 pattes de crabe The only problem lies in the economic equation. The Russian authorities (among others) limit fishing to keep prices high while this invasive species should be eradicated massively from the Barents sea because devours everything in its path. But that would lower prices and bring crustaceans back to their true value. Since you all have a doctorate in geography, you immediately realized that there is a kilometer between Barents and Kamchatka. Indeed, the ugly decapoda was implanted by the equally ugly Father of Nations (he knew it as "crab") to provide a new market for Russian fishermen. You see what I mean ? Not complicated. 37 euros the declension of 3 clamps, it is literally overpriced. At this price, I go to my fishmonger order a breton crab, a dozen oysters, a few whelks, I emulsify a little homemade mayonnaise (mustard yuzu lemon for example). While there, I go out, I'm hungry! And a little bit angry. What serves bread, between matsot and Wasa, adds nothing. Conclusion? You want to make it chic, costly, Kamchatka, crab and cuenta shock? This place is for you. Burgundy glass at 10 euros the 12 cl to increase the check.

This is a very good seafood restaurant near Madeleine. The food is all very fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and attentive. Ambiance is clean rustic, feels like it's supposed to be out of the 1950's. The prices are on the high side, though given the quality of the seafood it feels justified.the rolls are all good value comparatively and delicious.

We stopped in to try a couple of appetizers (including the ceviche) and then dinner. For the main course we got the crab roll with the curry sauce and the miso crab soup. Everything was amazing and the miso soup was decent. Definitely loved the place, they were so nice with my lack of French, and were so polite. Definitely worth a stop for dinner.

Our new favorite spot in Paris!!!

This place rated high on both. It was early about 6:00 and very few customers. We were seated without reservation, by 7 this place was jumping surely u would need one by then. Charming restaurant but they pack u in a little tight. Seems like this is standard in Paris. Customer Service Julien out waiter was the best. Very attentive and friendly, no rushing. Little language problem but I pointed to menu and he helped me pick my entree. He was great. Assortment of cheese Very good Rigatoni with truffle sauce topped with shaved cheese Did not look like much but the truffle sauce had rich flavor. Veal chop with chanterelle mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Wow never tasted anything like these beautiful flavors. Going to make this dish at home. Brioche French toast with salted butter caramel and ice cream. Too sweet for me but delicious, my honey loved it. Plating Lots of pride here. If I am ever in Paris in Avenue De Champs Elysees I would come here again u should to. This was a perfect dining experience. I would rate this place a 10 if I could.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ Escargot/Extra large Burgundy Snails - Fantastic! Lots of flavor and addictively so good. Use the complimentary bread to sop up the oils! = French Onion Soup - Ehhh just OK. Tasted like just your average French Onion Soup. + Duck Confit - Duck leg was delicious and tender with lots of gravy. Scalloped potatoes were a great side for it. + Beef Bourguignon - Phennnnomenal. Arrived in a clay pot and the beef was so tender and flavorful. Stewed potatoes and carrots were also in the au jus and flavorful too. Wish I had something (other than the bread) to soak it up! + Lasagna Bolognese - Tried a littttle bit of it and it was solid. Can't say it was much different than other good bolognese dishes I've had, but it was good. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + Seated quickly for our Sunday evening resy. - Food took a litttttle too long to arrive. + Waiter was very friendly. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Small restaurant, but has quite a few tables inside and noticed that parties without a reservation were still immediately seated. + Was busy for a Sunday evening at 5:30-7 PM, but there was always a open table or 2. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Nada.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.
