It was easy to park our rv.

An outstanding family owned restaurant offering amazing choices. We were visiting estes park and passed through stopping twice it was so good. Must haves: Philly Cheese Steak and fried mushrooms.

Charged over $5 for an EXPIRED bag of cotton candy that is clearly marked as $2.99. Ice cream was okay, definitely an over priced joint.

They have this sign up but will throw things and berate you if you actually attempt to talk to the manager.

Love getting assaulted? This is the place for you... As a long-standing patron of this restaurant, I never imagined I'd have to endure such a shocking and unsettling experience. I am a regular customer for over a decade, but regardless, my boyfriend and I were subjected to appalling treatment during our recent visit. After patiently waiting for 40 minutes for our order, he approached the window to inquire about the delay. Instead of receiving a simple explanation, he was met with hostility as the general manager aggressively slammed the window shut in his face. Undeterred, we waited a few more minutes until our order finally arrived (yes, they had gotten it wrong, but that would not have warranted this review). What did, however, was our attempt to request some ranch dressing, a simple condiment which led to a jaw-dropping confrontation. The general manager, rather than addressing our request professionally, launched into a tirade. Apparently their policy is to charge $1 for each cup, which is fine, and if given the opportunity I would have just paid it. Maybe I should I have bitten my tongue, but when she let me know this I asked, "really, after I paid $35 and waited 45 minutes?" There were a number of back and forths from there where our honest reactions to what was unfolding were met with such unprofessional responses. Here's an example: My boyfriend: "Wow, you are being very rude. I don't think we will be able to come back to this restaurant." Her: "Good, I hope you never fucking come back." My boyfriend: "That's a horrible thing to say." Her: "You treat me like shit and I'll treat you the same." Still in a state of shock, we sat down to try and enjoy our food. But that wasn't the last of her attacks as she hurled ranch at us in a fit of rage. One cup struck my boyfriend, bouncing off his chest and leg before hitting the ground, and the other landed directly in his food. The disbelief of being assaulted by someone in a position of authority (apparently who is "the god damn general manager") left us both stunned. Since I have been going here since I was a kid, I genuinely wanted to provide feedback on this egregious behavior. Even when attempting to de-escalate the situation and seek out the owner's contact information from a different employee for further discussion, we were met with resistance and further aggression. It was clear that the manager had no intention of listening to our concerns or taking responsibility for her actions. I felt increasingly unsafe as the manager continued to berate us in front of other customers. This incident not only marred our perception of the restaurant but also left us deeply shaken. No customer should ever have to fear for their safety or endure such blatant disrespect while simply trying to enjoy a meal. Until there is tangible evidence of accountability and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all customers, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. If anyone at the Lyon PD would like to investigate this incident of assault, I would be happy to cooperate. There are video cameras that should have captured this entire interaction.

Only downside to this place is that there is no restroom. Ice cream is amazing. I've had a lot of handmade ice cream, I love stopping at these types of places. I have to say that this is one of the best. The rocky road was chocolatey and had whole crunchy peanuts in it. It was not too sweet and was also the perfect consistency. Not melty or too frozen. My friend also got the peanut butter flavor and I tried some and it was so rich and peanut buttery and delicious. Definitely stop by for some ice cream even if it's a bit pricey.

This is what a $9.75 Hippie Chick looks like. The mayo is supposed to be cheese- it's not

Lyon's Dairy Bar used to be a local gem. The food was always too expensive for the quality, but it tasted great. The new owners have changed the food and it is horrible! Although the names on the menu and descriptions make it seem like it's the same food, it's not. Their hamburgers used to be delicious but not any more. The meat has changed and the whole flavor is off. We ordered a Hippie Chick tonight expecting the same old shaved chicken and cheese that it's been since at least 2010. What we got instead was the most disgusting mayo filled piece of garbage that I've been served in ages. It was mostly mayo (yuck!), two slices of overcooked chicken (not even a full chicken breast) and some brown avocado slices. if you're the new owners and happen to read this, please change back to the original food. People in town are talking about how bad your food has become. If you want business in the slow months, do yourselves (and us) a favor and go back to what the food was before you bought the place. Your food is disgusting.

That was a good swirl. After a long hot day, this was just what the mtn doctor ordered. Not much else to say, the treat speaks for itself!

Website offering discount - not upheld but I'd still go back. Website should be updated.

The breakfast sandwich was good and came with exactly what I asked for in it. The best part of the experience was the service. This young woman helped me and I heard her for roughly 45 minutes while I ate. She had a great attitude, a smile on her face the entire time, and handled the fact that they were short one person like a champ. Even though they were slammed, she never changed her smile, tone, or attitude. I was very impressed. The space was eclectic with some very fun decor. The outdoor patio was unusable as people were smoking, which was disappointing. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the man making the food/drinks. I stood at the counter and watched him make drinks for at least 10 customers after me before even starting my breakfast sandwich. It was disappointing to wait through customers behind me to eat.

Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves. When we asked about it, the bartender simply said, "I'm working on it," which was frustrating given how long we had already been waiting. There were 4 tales in the restaurant and like 8 employees Things did not improve from there. Our food came out very slowly and one of the meals had to be sent back. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times, including for a to go box and even to get our check, because no one was checking on our table. To make matters worse, the menu states that guests are asked to limit their visit to 90 minutes. However, due to the slow and inattentive service, we were there for nearly two hours through no fault of our own. There also used to be a sense of customer service here, which seems to have changed. To top it off, gratuity was automatically added without it being mentioned or explained. That felt especially inappropriate considering we ended up doing a large portion of the service ourselves. It's like they figured they were getting auti gratuity so didn't provide any service Really disappointing experience overall. Not sure what changed, but this was a huge step down from our previous visit.

It's located in Golden, Colorado, right across the street from the world-famous Coors Brewery, so the setting is already pretty cool and scenic. Bob's Atomic Burgers has a great neighborhood-joint feel: small, cozy, clean, and eclectic, with interesting stuff on the walls and a fun local vibe. When we walked in, there was a table near the door with order sleeves and paper forms where you build your burger by choosing the meat, bun, cheese, free toppings, and extra toppings. They have a really good selection. I went with a single beef patty on a white bun with American cheese, pickles, raw jalapeños, tomatoes, green chiles, banana peppers, and a large fry. We turned in our order sleeves at the counter and ordered fountain drinks. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The young lady behind the counter explained a little about the place and how the ordering process worked, which was much appreciated. The burgers are made to order, so we waited about 10-15 minutes. Honestly, that worked out perfectly because indoor seating is limited, and during the wait we were able to grab a table. They also have outdoor seating, though it was raining when we visited. When the burgers came out, they looked amazing. I'd describe them as a cross between a smash burger and a traditional patty, and I really liked that. My burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. The large fries came in the usual paper sleeve, but it was absolutely overflowing, and the fries were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and excellent. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and a local feel that big chains just can't touch. Skip the lame McDonald's or Burger King run and go somewhere that makes an actual great burger. Bob's Atomic Burgers is absolutely worth the visit.
