It is great having a good Thai restaurant so close to home. The prices are reasonable and the portions good sized. Lynn always greets the customers right away and is friendly. I adore the tofu spring rolls here and order them almost exclusively each time. A perfect dish on a super hot night. My only complaint is that on two occasions when waiting for my to go order to be ready, I was offered a cup of tea and charged for it. We had an excellent lunch experience. Restaurant was decently busy for a Monday - always a good sign. Service was fast and efficient. We started with the duck spring rolls. They had a good proportion of duck to fresh vegetables and the addition of mushrooms made them extra tasty. They were served with a yummy soy sesame dipping sauce. My lunch date had the special red curry with pineapple and loved it. She doesn't like spicy and was glad it was not hot but was very flavorful. My duck with veggies in a hot spicy sauce was excellent. Good duck flavor, wonderfully spicy sauce and the brown rice was perfectly cooked. It was Friday, 6:30ish, Valentine's Day, but the place was not even a third full. The waiter had a really poor command of English. Finally got him to understand what we wanted however. We had a nice conversation with the couple at the next table while we waited. The food (Drunken Noodles, Pumpkin Curry, Rice and Thai Iced Tea) was as we remembered it from previous visits. Service was slow in every respect. Maybe the place has changed hands as we didn't recognize anyone. This used to be a great place to go with friends, but I don't think we will be back soon. We are visiting the area and after seeing good reviews on Yelp we decided to try Lynn's. We arrived just before 8 pm on a Thursday and noticed on the door they close at 8 (the info on Yelp stated 9 pm) they were very generous and said they would accommodate us - we ordered 3 appetizers and an entree and all were very good. This is a GREAT restaurant to go to, even if it's pick-up/take-out. It is more on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. We love the curries (yellow, green and red) and the fried calamari is to die for. Very nice owner as well! If you do order now, be prepared to wait outside for ten minutes, before your order is ready. I always leave good tips for them as well. We've also tried and recommend the curry fried rice and red curry with scallops. Seafood is extra $$ so factor that cost in. All in all I love this restaurant. read more

My most reliable source for Thai food! Everything I've gotten there so far has been delicious. Shrimp drunken noodle, mango prawns, coconut soup with chicken, mango sticky rice, shrimp satay, scallop curry, yellow curry, Spring rolls with prawns (the peanut sauce is DELICIOUS) it's all good! RED FLAG.. this was my first time here, decided to go big and ordered what I thought was $61 worth of food "TO GO". When I arrived to pay, I gave them my Amex card, after a minute, the girl came back saying they didn't take Amex, so i provided another form of payment, left and went home to try the food. My wife & I had dinner last night at Lynn's Thai in Cotati - west side of the freeway on Highway 116. We often select a Thai restaurant when we dine out. My wife has had lunch at Lynn's Thai a few times, but this was my first visit - and this place gets five stars. We ordered Tom Kha - coconut milk soup with chicken Pumpkin Curry with chicken Stuffed Japanese Eggplant from the "Dinner Special" menu - stuffed with a combination of ground chicken and prawns All the food was delicious. On my next visit I will try their Tom Yum soup as I missed the bite this soup provides as an after taste. The Pumpkin Curry serving was huge - we took some home - which is a rarity for us. The Stuffed Japanese Eggplant was stellar. The chicken & prawns combination and seasoning made this dish like heaven on a plate. Service was superb, price was very reasonable (about $35 for the above) and we were pleased with the complementary serving of coconut with pineapple ice cream which provided the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. read more

After a day of snacking and wine tastings, I didn't know how much we could eat but the food was so good I kept shoveling food into my mouth. My friend is Thai so I wanted her to make suggestions since I tend to only get the basics whenever I have thai food. She had been mentioning the mango salad all day so we definitely had to order that dish. It was everything she raved. I normally don't see mango salad, just papaya, so I was excited to have mango, my fave fruit. And it wasn't spicy like other thai salads, which was even better since my husband and I can't handle spicy. A bit onion-y and salty from the fish sauce but I am used to that kind of food so that was not a negative for me. I couldn't get enough. She had also mentioned there was a duck spring roll. Again I had to try it since you normally only see shrimp or pork for spring rolls. It was delicious with the sweet sticky plum sauce with sesame seeds. Hubby wanted Thai fried rice. We ordered it with shrimp. It was yummy. It was moist and very tasty. Good amount of shrimp. Last we had the drunken noodle with pork. It was not too oily; appropriately spiced but not too salty. I saw another reviewer complain that the food was bland. That person must be used to MSG in their food because it wasn't bland at all. I rather eat somewhere that the chef knows how to season using real spices rather than relying on MSG, or the chicken stock powders made primarily of MSG, for flavoring as many Asian restaurants do. I am allergic and get gaseous, bloated, and severe stomach pains within 10 minutes with MSG. So I can tell when a restaurant cheats. I had no problems and enjoyed the food immensely. I wish I had room for dessert but couldn't stuff anymore. You also can ask for more or less spiciness for a dish depending on your taste. My friend got extra chiles because our dishes were mild for my hubby and my benefit. The lemon in the water was a nice touch. Service was friendly and attentive. Lynn's is a tucked away restaurant with a great lunch special. I started with Lynn's iced coffee, it was creamy, sweet, and delicious. Every lunch entree comes with a choice of soup or salad, and vegetarian spring rolls. The coup is a coconut sweet and sour soup. The salad comes with a light dressing. The spring rolls came with a delicious peanut sauce. My friend got red curry. I love the way the rice was in a cone so you could pour the curry around it perfectly. It was coconuty, loaded with ingredients, and delicious. I would recommend it. I got the drunken noodles. I usually love drunken noodles, but this plate had a lot of large slices of onion, bell pepper, and iceberg lettuce mixed in. I've never seen these ingredient in drunken noodles, and I didn't like it. It seemed like they were throwing in cheap ingredients. There was basil in the mix, however, which is much more what I expect from a traditional pad kee Mao. Overall, I would give this place a try. Came here a couple of days ago with the parents in law. They know the owners so they decided to take us here for my husband's birthday. This is honestly quality Thai food. I've just recently been introduced to Thai food since meeting my husband 3 and a half years ago and he is half Thai. Took my mom out for dinner here and all I can is wow! Started off with calamari as an appetizer, very good with the sweet and sour sauce.
