We've been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. We had an exceptionally wonderful meal with our family on a recent Sat. night so I am excited to share what we ordered. Prawn rolls - nice way to start the meal. Fresh rolls with one of the best peanut dips we've ever had, honest! Khao soi - creamy curry noodle soup that comes with a side dish of garnishes that you can mix in if you wish. The broth is deep and rich and it comes with soft noodles inside and crispy noodles on top. It has a mild to moderate spice level. Amazing as usual and a favorite of ours Pad See Ew with chicken - I order this often at Thai restaurants and no matter where I order this dish, Lynn's is my absolute favorite. Slight crispy edges on the chicken, lovely wide, pan-fried noodles with lots of gai lan (Chinese broccoli) and flavored to perfection Off the Special Dinner Menu Stuffed Japanese Eggplant - Peeled grilled eggplant topped with minced chicken & prawn mixture. This was a milder dish and something I have not seen at other restaurants. Happy we tried it Asparagus basil prawn - Sautéed fresh asparagus, prawns, and basil. The asparagus was cooked tender crisp and it was a beautiful and delicious dish Overall, a lovely and satisfying meal. Service is always outstanding and friendly. We never had to ask for refills of water even though they had a long table of guests in the center of the restaurant who were already eating when we arrived. The sweet owner always comes by to check on us too. If you're in the mood for Thai food in a comfortable, clean and homey environment, stop by hungry and you will leave satisfied with a big smile. The food is always prepared fresh and dishes come piping hot to your table. The huge tables of guests were thanking the owner as they left and were commenting on how much they enjoyed their dinner. It's been awhile since I've ordered from Lynn's Thai as I usually would only get their lunch specials. I have enjoyed this spot many times before and they're friendly over the phone and in-person. The restaurant is small and cute - and you'll always find some folks sitting down enjoying a meal. Called in my order and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken Curry Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles w/chicken. Picking up food was easy and ready by the time I arrived. By the time I got home (15 minutes or so) the food was still nice and hot! First impressions were not it. The food looked a bit bland but figured it would taste better. Unfortunately the food lacked flavor this time around. The drunken noodles were pale and the chicken seemed like it was just boiled piece of chicken. I tried the curry fried rice as that plate looked a bit more appetizing. Unfortunately the rice had several white patches that appeared not to be mixed or coated well with the curry seasoning, resulting in an uneven flavor. Overall, the dish was quite bland and lacked the curry taste I was expecting. The average price was $15 for a plate and expected a bit more taste so a bit disappointing. Surprisingly good Thai restaurant near Santa Rosa. I drove 80 miles from Pleasanton to visit a friend who recently started working nearby, and we went out for lunch after spending the morning touring her new workplace. The meal was typical strip mall Thai - The best part of the meal came last - the mango sticky rice. This was probably the best I've ever had - they used black sticky rice, the mangoes were just the right consistency and sweetness level, and they didn't drown the dish in syrup. Absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant in Sonoma county. Hands down. I have been going here for over ten years, and have never had a miss. Everything is always super fresh, served piping hot, and they will give you the full "Thai Hot" spice of you ask. if you ask (be careful!). I really appreciate how light their sauces are too. Not only delicious - but I feel it is the healthiest Thai food in the county as well. Everything on the menu is good! Was dismally disappointed with this Thai restaurant in Sonoma county. I had high hopes for this place given the reviews on Yelp, but found myself misled by the homey Thai decor, which typically is a good indication of authentic Thai cuisine. I came in wanting to order a pad see ew but was swayed by the menu into ordering prawns with asparagus and basil. While we waited for our appetizer of calamari with salt and spicy pepper, ordered a Singha Thai beer. The appetizer finally came and it didn't look like calamari but seemed more like frozen, breaded cuttlefish chunks. There was a slight fishy aftertaste that neither the sweet chili sauce nor the peppers can mask. I ordered "prawns" with asparagus and basil. Can't say I was surprised that the dish came with shrimps instead. The Thai basil flavor was lacking in the dish since it only had five small leaves of basil throughout the dish. My dinner partner ordered the drunken noodles. Just by the looks of it, the dish also lacked flavor as well as color. Tastes of salty, sweet, and spicy were lacking from both dishes. read more

Talk about 5 star quality. Me and the wife came here and I ordered the Panang Curry (medium) while she ordered the yellow curry (medium). Needless to say, for the both of us it was way too spicy. Lynn happily took our orders back and brought us back more fresh hot rice with the spice level on mild for our orders. It should be noted, we're from the east Bay Area and have tried lots of Thai restaurants. Since moving to Rohnert park, I've gotta say this spot is a banger and the food was flavorful. It had been a while since I've gotten food from Lynn's and I had fond memories of their food. My dinner tonight, however, was very disappointing. The chicken pad sieuw was the best of the bunch with decent pieces of chicken and fresh Chinese broccoli. The drunken noodles had a decent amount of shrimp but the noodles were tasteless and not spicy at all. The pad Thai was awful with sugary sweet noodles, no nuts, egg, cilantro or lime, minimal veggies or tofu. Blech! Portions were generous but the dishes were marginal at best. He basically refused to answer any questions about the menu and just kept saying "what do you want?". We did not feel welcome at all. Felt so uncomfortable that we asked for the pad Thai entree to go even though we had planned to dine in. I left 0 tip-which I have never done In my life. Ordered the tofu fresh rolls and pad Thai. The only flavorful item was the peanut sauce. Pad Thai was not authentic and very greasy when we eventually got to eat it at home. 7/13/23: Visited Lynn's for lunch with my Thai mother-in-law. The food is nowhere near fresh, healthy, or authentic Thai cuisine. The duck roll appetizer had no flavor, and the large chunks of cold, raw-looking duck were hard not to spit out. Lynn's rice is mushy. The chicken had been prepared days in advance and had dried out. The drunk noodles were greasy and lacked flavor. After 1 bite each, we payed the $60.00 check for two lunch entrees, two ice waters, and the aforementioned duck roll appetizer. Everything was thrown away immediately. Do you need to wash your hands? Walk along the dark hallway cramped with restaurant supplies piled high above your head. The formerly white door and doorway to Lynn's restroom is filthy. Thick dirt and grime greets you both as you enter and as you exit. Good luck! read more

Lynn's Thai Restaurant is a small, family-run spot with good service and good food. A friend and I dined here on a Thursday in the early evening, and there were plenty of open tables, so we were seated immediately. We both ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew, and we basically finished our entire plates. The food arrived at our table quickly, and the waiter was always efficient and friendly, even when the dinner rush started to show up. My friend and I were hungry upon arrival, so we probably would have enjoyed anything we ate, but our overall experience was good, so we felt that it was worth stopping in here for an early dinner. (A plus for those with children: They have a fish tank that appeared helpful in distracting a few younger diners while they waited for their meals. We didn't have any children in our party, but we witnessed the fish tank work its magic on some fussier children.) read more

So many places today make the sauce watery, trying to save money on coconut milk?? This place let's me customize the sauce thickness. So there's that. I was craving tofu curry and so I turned to Yelp to help me find nearby delivery options. Lynn's Thai showed up and so I figured I'd give them a try. I strayed from my usual curry order, panang or yellow, and decide to try out green curry. Well, I think I've found my new favorite curry dish! Their green curry is spicy and light yet the coconut gives it that creaminess you need with a good curry. I got to admit, I've ordered this dish just about once a week since then. It's that good. Just a head up, rice isn't included when you order online. You'll need to add that on to your order. I'm excited for restaurants to reopen and I'm definitely eager to try the dine-in experience at Lynn's Thai Restaurant. read more

Stopped by to grab the BBQ chicken and a Thai ice tea for my ride back to the East Bay. I ordered over the phone just before they opened for dinner. When I arrived I let the host know I had just ordered so it's probably not ready. His response was wait! No welcome or hi which I thought was funny but at the same time thinking this is the first face one sees here. This order is based on delivery via postmates, however I will be taking into consideration the price of the original menu instead. Based on the food alone I would give this place a 2.5 stars but I since the portion size was good I'm leaning closer to 3 star instead. My ethnicity is Thai, Laotian and Cambodian, mainly consisting of Thai food for my upbringing. The pad thai was sweet but I feel like the base flavor was definitely missing something, maybe the umami flavor from fish sauce that I imagine when I think of pad thai? They have 6 pieces of shrimp for an extra $2-3(can't think of exact amount!) which was a good deal. The drunken noodle tasted better to me, had the sweetness and umami flavor I wanted but still not a strong base. My least favorite though was the egg rolls, for $8 you get 4 vegetable only egg rolls. If there was at least 6 I'd be understanding but $2 for an egg roll the size of your pointer finger felt ridiculous. The sauce wasn't that great to me either. Definitely don't suggest the egg rolls but the pad Thai and drunken noodle are not too bad I'd say don't order from here. It just felt very Americanized and meant to have less flavor on purpose which isn't bad just not what I was looking for. read more
