The rolls were stuffed, though expected more mushrooms. The peanut sauce was sweeter than I care for. My friend ordered the pad thai and was very happy with the spice level. This place continues to be our favorite spot to fill our pad see ew cravings. It's a truly delicious dish, with lots of perfectly cooked gai lan (Chinese broccoli). The flavors make this dish a clear standout from other places. We often go for lunch and the nice owner is efficient and courteous. Our other favorite dishes here are their curries and kao soi. Surprisingly good Thai restaurant near Santa Rosa. I drove 80 miles from Pleasanton to visit a friend who recently started working nearby, and we went out for lunch after spending the morning touring her new workplace. The meal was typical strip mall Thai - The best part of the meal came last - the mango sticky rice. This was probably the best I've ever had - they used black sticky rice, the mangoes were just the right consistency and sweetness level, and they didn't drown the dish in syrup. Absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant in Sonoma county. Hands down. I have been going here for over ten years, and have never had a miss. Everything is always super fresh, served piping hot, and they will give you the full "Thai Hot" spice of you ask. if you ask (be careful!). I really appreciate how light their sauces are too. Not only delicious - but I feel it is the healthiest Thai food in the county as well. Everything on the menu is good! Was dismally disappointed with this Thai restaurant in Sonoma county. I had high hopes for this place given the reviews on Yelp, but found myself misled by the homey Thai decor, which typically is a good indication of authentic Thai cuisine. I came in wanting to order a pad see ew but was swayed by the menu into ordering prawns with asparagus and basil. While we waited for our appetizer of calamari with salt and spicy pepper, ordered a Singha Thai beer. The appetizer finally came and it didn't look like calamari but seemed more like frozen, breaded cuttlefish chunks. There was a slight fishy aftertaste that neither the sweet chili sauce nor the peppers can mask. I ordered "prawns" with asparagus and basil. Can't say I was surprised that the dish came with shrimps instead. The Thai basil flavor was lacking in the dish since it only had five small leaves of basil throughout the dish. My dinner partner ordered the drunken noodles. Just by the looks of it, the dish also lacked flavor as well as color. Tastes of salty, sweet, and spicy were lacking from both dishes. read more

This is a small restaurant is in a small mall near 101 off ramp. It is a comfortable place. The food was wonderful. We shared the papaya salad and the Kao Soy. The soup was devine. Talk about 5 star quality. Me and the wife came here and I ordered the Panang Curry (medium) while she ordered the yellow curry (medium). Needless to say, for the both of us it was way too spicy. Lynn happily took our orders back and brought us back more fresh hot rice with the spice level on mild for our orders. It should be noted, we're from the east Bay Area and have tried lots of Thai restaurants. Since moving to Rohnert park, I've gotta say this spot is a banger and the food was flavorful. Lynn was very respectful and sweet, she even brought us free vanilla ice cream scoops. We'll definitely be back. read more

It had been a while since I've gotten food from Lynn's and I had fond memories of their food. My dinner tonight, however, was very disappointing. The chicken pad sieuw was the best of the bunch with decent pieces of chicken and fresh Chinese broccoli. The drunken noodles had a decent amount of shrimp but the noodles were tasteless and not spicy at all. The pad Thai was awful with sugary sweet noodles, no nuts, egg, cilantro or lime, minimal veggies or tofu. Blech! Portions were generous but the dishes were marginal at best. Thai food is our favorite and this place was highly disappointing. Went in right when they opened. The waiter/host seemed unfriendly and put out by our presence. He basically refused to answer any questions about the menu and just kept saying "what do you want?". We did not feel welcome at all. Felt so uncomfortable that we asked for the pad Thai entree to go even though we had planned to dine in. I left 0 tip-which I have never done In my life. Ordered the tofu fresh rolls and pad Thai. The only flavorful item was the peanut sauce. Pad Thai was not authentic and very greasy when we eventually got to eat it at home. 7/13/23: Visited Lynn's for lunch with my Thai mother-in-law. The food is nowhere near fresh, healthy, or authentic Thai cuisine. The duck roll appetizer had no flavor, and the large chunks of cold, raw-looking duck were hard not to spit out. Lynn's rice is mushy. The chicken had been prepared days in advance and had dried out. The drunk noodles were greasy and lacked flavor. After 1 bite each, we payed the $60.00 check for two lunch entrees, two ice waters, and the aforementioned duck roll appetizer. Everything was thrown away immediately. Do you need to wash your hands? Walk along the dark hallway cramped with restaurant supplies piled high above your head. The formerly white door and doorway to Lynn's restroom is filthy. Thick dirt and grime greets you both as you enter and as you exit. Good luck! read more

A friend and I dined here on a Thursday in the early evening, and there were plenty of open tables, so we were seated immediately. We both ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew, and we basically finished our entire plates. The food arrived at our table quickly, and the waiter was always efficient and friendly, even when the dinner rush started to show up. My friend and I were hungry upon arrival, so we probably would have enjoyed anything we ate, but our overall experience was good, so we felt that it was worth stopping in here for an early dinner. (A plus for those with children: They have a fish tank that appeared helpful in distracting a few younger diners while they waited for their meals. We didn't have any children in our party, but we witnessed the fish tank work its magic on some fussier children.) read more

I've tried Lynn's multiple times for dinner- love their Pad See Ew. I decided to try their lunch special ($11.95+ tax) and went for Pad See Ew again which comes with pan fried flat noodles, broccoli, egg, and black bean sauce but since it was a lunch special it also came with a small spring roll and a small side salad with dressing. Decently priced and the portion was huge! I was able to split my order in half and had it for dinner later. I like the flexibility of ordering online and the order was ready in less than 15 minutes. Very quick and friendly! Last time I ordered dinner, I got there early so my food wasn't ready and they served me warm tea while I waited. So kind! Ever since I was a kid growing up in Berkeley, my mom always took me to Siam Cuisine on University Ave. So I like my yellow chicken curry sauce thick, like places used to make. So many places today make the sauce watery, trying to save money on coconut milk?? This place let's me customize the sauce thickness. So there's that. I strayed from my usual curry order, panang or yellow, and decide to try out green curry. Well, I think I've found my new favorite curry dish! Their green curry is spicy and light yet the coconut gives it that creaminess you need with a good curry. I got to admit, I've ordered this dish just about once a week since then. It's that good. Just a head up, rice isn't included when you order online. You'll need to add that on to your order. This order is based on delivery via postmates, however I will be taking into consideration the price of the original menu instead. Based on the food alone I would give this place a 2.5 stars but I since the portion size was good I'm leaning closer to 3 star instead. My ethnicity is Thai, Laotian and Cambodian, mainly consisting of Thai food for my upbringing. The pad thai was sweet but I feel like the base flavor was definitely missing something, maybe the umami flavor from fish sauce that I imagine when I think of pad thai? They have 6 pieces of shrimp for an extra $2-3(can't think of exact amount!) which was a good deal. The drunken noodle tasted better to me, had the sweetness and umami flavor I wanted but still not a strong base. My least favorite though was the egg rolls, for $8 you get 4 vegetable only egg rolls. If there was at least 6 I'd be understanding but $2 for an egg roll the size of your pointer finger felt ridiculous. The sauce wasn't that great to me either. Definitely don't suggest the egg rolls but the pad Thai and drunken noodle are not too bad I'd say don't order from here. It just felt very Americanized and meant to have less flavor on purpose which isn't bad just not what I was looking for. read more

This is a pretty good Thai place. We recently went here for the first time since the Covid shutdown of March 2020 and what we got was pretty good but not great. Chicken satay was god, but a bit dry and the peanut sauce with it was a bit thick and of one-dimensional peanut-butter character. Pumpkin curry was pretty good, but mild in character and lacking the complexity and depth of character which we like in Thai curries. It was otherwise pretty good and the portion was large, especially for the price. One the strength of the above things, my score would probably be about a 3, but we had slightly better experiences in the past (if not outstanding) so at the moment I am leaning to 3.5 so that would round up to a 4, which I think is appropriate in my mind at the moment. read more

Strange choice of cooking, i hope it was just a bad cook. The vegetables were way undercooked and the meat was overcooked. The cashew chicken had a good flavor to it which was weird because it is usually the more bland meal while the pad see ew was lacking the flavor. A long-time family friend Virgil treated me to lunch at Lynn's Thai Restaurant last week. I have always liked this place but it had been at least two years since I have been there. We started with Prawn's Satay which were cooked to perfection, peanut sauce was outstanding. Tom Yum Soup was next and the first time I have had it with coconut milk blended into the main stock. Nice thai spices, tangy but a bit of sweetness. Nothing short of great. Pad Thai with pork was the best I have ever tasted and I've been eating Thai food for some 53 years! Sweet and firm fresh mango with white sticky ride for dessert. The food was the best! Ding and her husband/chef really do a marvelous job.
