Everything tasted good. They accommodated a small change in the curry (leaving out one common ingredient). Our medium spice noodles were a good medium spice level (so I regretted adding more hot sauce but would re-order medium again). The crispy tofu lived up to its name in texture. Ordered Chicken Larb, Pumpkin Curry with Tofu and Summer Rolls. Was pretty disappointed . Larb was missing rice powder for the crunch, and the had put the dressing on so it was a bit soggy, not the savory dish I was expecting. The Pumpkin Curry was good, but came with Chicken instead of the Tofu I ordered. Summer Rolls were mainly just Romain lettuce with a few noodles and carrots, one piece of shrimp cut length wise, no herbs and the peanut sauce, more like creamy peanut butter. Good Thai food around our area! Charm Thai has been one of our go-to take out meal on days when we are so busy and doesn't have time to cook. My husband loves their Pad See Ew. I enjoy their Pad Thai, Crispy Tofu, Chicken Satay, Fresh rolls, Curry Fried Rice and to my surprise, they have filipino lumpia which tastes good considering it's hard to find authentic lumpia around here! This didn't hit the mark. I asked the man in front some questions about the menu and it was difficult to understand him. Ordering was done all through an tablet. Forgive me for the photo I ordered to go and OMG the Duck Noodle Soup is like crack. I don't know if I've ever had a more flavorful bowl of soup and I want more I want a bucket just let me drink it or inject me with it. They add veggies but you can also ask for basil jalapenos lime and sambal, you already get hot chili oil. Anyway my mouth was on fire and I liked it . Also ordered eggplant with tofu stir fry and it was also delicious. I wonder if the duck curry is as good as the duck noodle soup ? The place is nice and quiet and chill inside they have tables and high chairs and the service is fast and efficient. You order at the front with a giant touch screen menu and tap/swipe to pay. They have free ice water too so you can quench your thirst while you wait. I do wanna try their boba drinks which look so yummy. It tasted like they just poured some pad thai sauce out of a jar onto some noodles. It was TERRIBLE! The curry doesn't come with rice? What kind of place doesn't serve rice with curry? The curry was sub par. The appetizers were blah. I don't know how this place has 4-stars. If you have had good Thai food, then you will be sorely disappointed! I'm taking it back to the restaurant. Very solid Thai food. Have gone here over a dozen times in the last year whenever I have a craving for good Thai cuisine. Every dish on the menu has great flavor with my favorites being the Yellow Curry noodle soup ($14) and Pad Thai ($13). I have also tried the chicken Satay, chicken wings, Tom Kha soup, See Ew noodles, and Peanut noodles and everything tastes good. The portions are decent along with the prices. A little expensive for a young student like myself but reasonable when compared to most sit-down restaurants. The Yellow curry noodle soup has a very tasty, creamy and peanuty sauce that is decently spicy but not too overwhelming. The noodles are similar to glass noodles, thin, soft, and soak up the broth well. The chicken can sometimes be a little firm/dry in texture but I believe that's due to the fact that it's sliced thinly and doesn't obtain a lot of moisture while cooking. The vegetables taste fresh and add a nice texture to the dish. The Pad Thai is a dish I don't love as much as the Yellow curry noodle but its still great. The noodles are soft and obtain the sauce well. The sauce can sometimes be slightly too sweet but normally it has a nice sweet and salty balance of flavors. Although Pad Thai is a pretty standard dish for most Thai restaurants, Charm's is one of my favorites. The service is always great here. I typically order to-go but sometimes I do eat inside. The food is ready pretty quickly either way. It seems that most guests come to pickup so there is always plenty of seating at the booths or tables. It is decorated nicely and has a relaxing vibe. The lady at the front register seems to be there quite often and always has a smile on her face. There are not a ton of Thai restaurants in Rohnert Park but I would say Charm is probably the best. I was so excited to find a new place that looked great. However, I was extremely disappointed. Not only was the food way more expensive than I expected -- the food was AWFUL. I mean, hands down, the worst experience I've had. I ordered a lot of things to try and while the appetizers were good and the taro puffs AMAZING. The main dish was SAD. The noodles and veggies were pretty much something I could make at home. A handful of steamed broccoli and carrots with a side of solidified noodles with chewy tofu and a side of peanut sauce. I was in the mood for Thai Food and decided to try out Charm Thai Kitchen. They had just opened for dinner so I was the first one to dine in. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The girl taking the order was friendly and smiling. It's maybe 50/50 that you get a smile nowadays with a lot of people unhappy with work. I ordered the Fried Tofu w/Peanut Dipping Sauce and Pad See Ew Tofu. Tofu was first brought out in about 6-8 minutes and the noodles shortly after. I'd say everything was alright and the decent prices made it all good. The location is in a mini strip mall across from Sonoma State. I'll be back to try more of the menu. read more

Still a bit new to Thai food but I wanted to try something new in town. For my main dish I ordered the spicy Chicken Kee Maow. It was actually pretty good and would recommend this to someone trying Thai food for the first time. A nice basil flavor and not to spicy. Good portion size. For the starters I tried the chicken lumpia, also a good portion for the price. The sweet and sour sauce dipping sauce was a bit overly tangy but still used it. The Lumpia was just OK, I'll try try the fresh spring rolls instead next time. For the second appetizer I got the Taro puffs. I love Taro so this is a must for me. They were good, came with what I believe was some sort of cross between sweet and sour sauce and peanut sauce?? Not to sure tho but either way I had some condensed sweet milk left in the fridge that I used instead and OMG they should honestly just serve that with them because it was soo good, a light sweetness and flaky pastry. But the reason I took 1 star off was because one of them had raw dough. I used the online ordering on the website. The service was fast and the person at the counter was polite. Charm has fresh, delicious food. Each visit we try an appetizer, all good so far. We found a couple staples we were introduced to when we went to a Chaing Mai 8 years ago and we've had them a couple times with good consistency. Chicken larb salad is great, but I so order it mild and the yellow curry soup (nearly Khao Soi without the picked greens and crunchy noodles) also amazingly delicious, especially on a wet or chilly day. Basil chicken is great and my sister keeps getting the chicken teriyaki... a solid go-to for the less adventurous in the family. The peanut noodles are good, but better for eating in then taking to-go because they clump up when you take then to-go with the sauce sent in a separate cup, which makes sense. It's very convenient to order on their computers and be served. Everyone is nice and friendly and their tea-lemonade is awesome! We will definitely frequent this place. read more

I am so excited to have such a great restaurant so close to our house. I placed a large lunch order for me and my employees today, so I was able to get several different dishes and we all got to try them all. The veggie stirfry, the pad Thai, the fried rice, the meat, five different appetizers... all delicious! Everyone was very impressed.
