My go to place when I want a quesabirra. Always taste fresh & the consome is really flavorful. Very nice service that came to check on the table often.

Yum! This hole in the wall will have you coming back and wanting to gate keep the spot! I'm not going to attempt to spell what I ordered because I definitely would spell it wrong HOWEVER their barbacoa and their pollo asada and carne asada are cooked perfectly. Not overcooked and dry which can be tricky with Barbacoa. Here, they steam the barbacoa which creates this amazing moist flavorful meat that just melts in your mouth. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us the background on the restaurant. This place opened just a few weeks prior to Covid and managed to keep it going. During the down time they took the opportunity to revitalize the dining area, and the menu! Went from prepackaged and frozen items to fresh hand made quality dishes (so glad I can after the revitalization!) Chips and salsas are on point and I love anywhere that serves a bean salsa with a verde salsa - especially when they're amazing! 10/10 will be back (matter of fact I've already been back )

I came here to try the birria ramen and it was delicious! The server was happy to tell us about their most popular dishes for next time (and there will be a next time). The chips were served with salsa and a bean dip. The bean dip left us wanting more. The birria ramen did not disappoint. It was quite the serving and the garnishes gave it so much flavor. The spicy salsa enhanced all the flavors. The server told us it would do so, and he was right. It's a small place with tv's. They play music which I enjoyed very much. They do not serve alcohol. Parking is easy in the lot. Although it's a small restaurant, I noticed a lot of takeout, which is always a good sign.

Very authentic! Got an order to go easy to order friendly service. Very small restaurant with modern renovations interior, but no windows. Probably be cozy for winter, but hot for summer to dine inside. Price is reasonable for this area, but not cheap. Based on the quality of the food it's worth it.

How would I sum up the taste of the food, the variety of dishes that are offered, the service and the friendliness of the owner in one word? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We've only eaten there twice (I had a carne asada burrito, my wife had some chicken soup and my bro-in-law had a bowl of birria the first time we were there) but today my wife had the prawns and fish fajitas while I had a barbacoa beef chimichanga. Our first trip there was excellent. Today it was nothing short of AMAZING. That is THE best chimichanga that I have EVER had in my life (and I've eaten a lot of them). The barbacoa was NOT too salty like it can be in some places. And the fact that they covered it with house-made queso and a lovely red sauce of some kind made it even better! My wife said that she would definitely eat the fish and prawn fajitas again! I can't wait to show the place to my sister. She'll love it just like my wife, bro-in-law and I do! Don't be put off by the outside appearance. The place is clean inside and Ruben (I'm not sure if it is spelled like that or Reuben) is a very engaging individual who is a joy to talk with!

Best fish tacos I've ever had. Perfect! Not deep fried but cooked in a pan. The fresh tilapia came generously covered in herbs and spices. I don't know how the cook did it, but he or she used so little oil with the fish, that I did not see nor taste cooking oil. My server, a smiling lovely woman, suggested I might try their Aguas Frescas. They make a fresh watermelon drink with just a tad of sugar. She gave me wonderful table service, too. The chips were served with a warm bean dip and a green salsa, both quite delightful . The restaurant section is super clean and looks quite new. Also above the bar and the restaurant area they have some various fans going which move air quite nicely. I feel so comfortable having lunch here.

Craving tacos in a different city, 1st things 1st open yelp. I did a search and this place came up and looked really good. We pulled up and it's easy to find and parking right in front. Very modern inside, clean. The chips and salsa were different, and in such a good way. They give green salsa and a black bean warm dip. That was so good! 5 stars just for that dip & salsa. Between the two of us we got 4 regular tacos: 2 steak, 1 pastor & 1 carnitas and a can soda each and that was $23.98- I'd say that was a fantastic price for the food taste & quality.. and we're full. We're in this area a lot but have never stopped into this city/town and for sure will start coming by and trying more items. I believe they have homemade tortillas which is another added plus.

Am I a *little* crazy for driving 1.5 hours from SF just to try out a new seafood boil spot?…read morePossibly...and left not disappointed. I enjoy more of an "asian" taste when it comes to seafood boil flavors, so the fact that this place has hotpot only made my expectations higher. Prices are fair, and there were empty spots with no line by the time I left (6PM). I ordered 1lb of head on shrimp, clam, and mussel with the combo of potatoes, corn and sausage, with a side of garlic noodles. The highlight is the Simmer Sauce, which is a sweet, spicy, and a little savory/garlicky. The medium packed a kick, so I would definitely get mild for the low spice tolerance people. Shrimp was huge and tasted pretty fresh. Clams varied in size with some clam meat being smaller than others. Mussels were solid, but I noticed we had a couple of closed shells. The garlic noodles paired perfectly with everything, acting both as carbs and great for dipping in the sauce. Although this place beats most if not all seafood boils in the bay area, I had to wait about 30min for my garlic noodles. My server claimed they were making a new batch, but it was a little disappointing having mostly finished everything before they were served. I also had to flag my server down instead of them coming over for updates on my order and getting my bill. The seafood boil came within 10min otherwise though.

There were a lot of food trucks in the area, but since it was cold we were looking for something indoor. We agreed to come here even though it was a bit of a drive from where we were. At first glance we thought it was closed because the closed sign was in the front, but luckily they were open. In all honesty, the place could use a deep cleaning. The bathroom wasn't too bad, which I really appreciated, but the restaurant needs an update. Our server was great, very nice. She brought us out some chips and salsa which were good. They have a pretty good sized menu, which made it hard to choose from but we ended up both getting camarones ala diabla and an order of fried shrimp tacos. Our shrimp plates were good. I really liked the rice. The shrimp's sauce was a bit sweeter than we usually like but we both finished our plates, lol. The shrimp tacos were disappointing. I think they may have left them in the fryer for too long, so the shells were so hard and the shrimp really dehydrated. If I was in the area, I'd give them another try.

If you stick to simple rolls, they are more than likely going to taste ok, because it's hard to mess up something simple. But do not order anything "complicated", it's not going to taste good. Another complaint was cleanliness. There were ants on the table, little flies flying around, and the utensils were not clean. The table was very sticky, I couldn't even put my hands on it. Overall, this place really needs to improve its cleaning standards. The service was mediocre as well. Not coming back.
