In addition to requiring masks, there is a plexi partition between you and your tech. They sanitize everything between appointments. They check your temperature before you're allowed to come in. You wash your hands before they get started. It's CLEAN and safe. Text for an appointment. Have dates/ times in mind to give them a starting point for when to look. I recently moved back this month and started going back to La Bella. I got my nails done May 15th at 6pm and got a full set of builder gel nails. This was my first time ever getting builder gel and I liked the outcome and had a good experience. The only complaint I have is that my appointment was at 6pm and they close at 7pm and I could tell they fully rushed my nail process. They got the entire set done in 45 minutes. I understand they were closing soon but they shouldn't accept appointments that late if they plan to rush the client out of the place. A few days into the nails and they started to lift. Wednesday the 20th two nails popped off perfectly with little effort. Almost every single other nail was lifting at the cuticle, my hair was getting caught in them and they were painfully lifting and I knew they wouldn't last much longer. I called La Bella today the 20th (so I only had the nails on for 6 days, to my knowledge builder gel can last up to 3-5 weeks). I called La Bella today asking for an appointment to get them fixed. The hostess that answered the phone was very nice and she told me they would most likely fix the nails for free because that was not supposed to happen. I went in tonight around 5pm at my scheduled appointment and I asked for dip nails instead because dip is what I was used to and I know they last. I was happy with my appointment the nail tech seemed to take her time and I loved my new nails. But I was very annoyed when I checked out when they tried to charge me the full price of dip nails which was 65 dollars. I asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation. He told me it was not acceptable that the nails only lasted 6 days. He said he would charge me $45 instead. I didn't fight or fuss and I paid the full price. I am extremely annoyed there was no communication that the previous hostess told me the nails would be on the house and I feel like as a business they should've fixed their mistake. I fully planned on tipping my nail tech a good tip for redoing my nails and ensuring they were a good set. I don't know if I will be back to La Bella because of this experience and it saddens me because I truly love this place.

I was told I needed a completely new set, with the explanation that after 3-4 fills you always need a new set. That information itself wasn't the issue--it was the condescending tone used when explaining it. The old set was not soaked off and was instead peeled off, which was painful. After the new set was finished, my hands were covered in powder and glue. When I asked to wash my hands, I was told it wasn't necessary and that I could wash them at home. I left with dust and glue still on my hands and shirt. I paid $120. This was my third visit, and none of the visits felt welcoming. The work itself was mostly cute too, but I felt rushed and like an inconvenience. Because of the lack of care and customer service, I won't be returning.
