Gel manicure

This place is PHENOMENAL. I've been getting pedicures consistently for about 5 years and I've never had a better pedicure than Lynn's mom gives. This lady goes SO hard! She is a little rough, but she does not leave any dead skin behind. Every time I would be shocked at how soft and perfect my feet and nails were. Lynn usually gave me manicures and they were always beautiful and lasted for a long time. She was so nice and fun to talk to also. Pedicures/manicures take a very long time (usually more than an hour), but I enjoyed setting time for myself aside to get my nails done. But if you're in a hurry, I would recommend waiting until you have time! The salon has very comfortable massage chairs, nice hardwood floors, magazines to read and music. The prices are fantastic too! This is the best nail salon I've ever been too. I came here consistently for the 2 years I lived in Tacoma and never had anything but a wonderful experience. I wish I hadn't moved so I could schedule my next nail appointment here!

my service was very wonderful, very understanding, and nice people, i have been going to lynn's nail salon since a kid always recommended it to anybody, i love it there such a quiet and friendly place, good conversation.

This fill needs a fill. My "set" before this felt more new! It hasn't even been 24 hours of having them.

This is a hit/miss nail salon. My last few visits, the gel was not properly secured and that could've been my doing by accident both times. However, the regular nail tech seemed to not be able to fit me in both times to fix the issues. I contemplated even going back, but it was out of convenience. I'm not sure who the owner is because the sister took the place of the other nail tech that regularly services me. I've never had issues with the other nail tech's customer service. The nail tech servicing me today said her name is "Lynn," but I can't be too sure because she sarcastically told me before that, her name is Apple. I'm aware that the nail salon is called Lynn's Nails. The mother always does my pedicure. She seems lovely. I should have left when "Lynn" thought it was a good idea to put her feet on the table that she would be servicing me on. She did not give me a proper fill. She did not build it. She kept telling me how I was picky with a client sitting next to me when I've only chose two colors, although they weren't gel. She sent me in the back, so I assumed that they were all gel. I'm incredibly disappointed in this experience. It seemed like she was in a RUSH. I almost left when I got to my "fill." She was rude to the customer to the right of me and insinuated a lot of terrible things. I tipped because of the mom. I'm highly disappointed in the lack of her professionalism and customer service. It seemed when I've mentioned my race and age when she first asked, she started to talk down on me. I truly hope that she's not like this towards any other client. Mind you, she did not provide me with pedicure flip flops. Please, get it together. So many things wrong with her professionalism. Just a lot of uncalled for things happened. I hope the regular nail tech doesn't get discouraged with this review.

Lynn and her mom are AMAZING and always do a GREAT job and as they may "be slow" I call it quality work they are giving out. I will always be loyal to them cause no one is as good as them.

They shaved my natural nail down to the nail bed and drew blood, and kept going, proceeding to damage my other nails and burn my skin slightly before I had to walk out. They were nice but didn't even give me a bandaid. It's very uncomfortable and will take months for the nail to grow back; the pain to the side of my thumb is constant.

This is my go place for having getting my beauty maintenance done. I've been coming here for years. I get my eyebrows, upper lip, hands and feet done here. The main nail technician always knows how l like to have my nails done and does a great job on my eyebrows! I love coming here for maintaining my girly-ness. The staff is friendly! They welcome walk-ins. Very cozy atmosphere. I would suggest anyone to come in and try this place out for some "Me" time :)

I'm going there for pedicure for 4 years now and I love it! Besides beautiful eye-catching colors, you'll get a good cleanup that will last. Being patient helps and that is something I am willing to trade for the nice outcome.

I just want to start off by saying I love this place. I lived in Tacoma from 2021-2024 and went to…read moreLa Bella for two year straight and never had a bad experience. I recently moved back this month and started going back to La Bella. I got my nails done May 15th at 6pm and got a full set of builder gel nails. This was my first time ever getting builder gel and I liked the outcome and had a good experience. The only complaint I have is that my appointment was at 6pm and they close at 7pm and I could tell they fully rushed my nail process. They got the entire set done in 45 minutes. I understand they were closing soon but they shouldn't accept appointments that late if they plan to rush the client out of the place. A few days into the nails and they started to lift. Wednesday the 20th two nails popped off perfectly with little effort. Almost every single other nail was lifting at the cuticle, my hair was getting caught in them and they were painfully lifting and I knew they wouldn't last much longer. I called La Bella today the 20th (so I only had the nails on for 6 days, to my knowledge builder gel can last up to 3-5 weeks). I called La Bella today asking for an appointment to get them fixed. The hostess that answered the phone was very nice and she told me they would most likely fix the nails for free because that was not supposed to happen. I went in tonight around 5pm at my scheduled appointment and I asked for dip nails instead because dip is what I was used to and I know they last. I was happy with my appointment the nail tech seemed to take her time and I loved my new nails. But I was very annoyed when I checked out when they tried to charge me the full price of dip nails which was 65 dollars. I asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation. He told me it was not acceptable that the nails only lasted 6 days. He said he would charge me $45 instead. I didn't fight or fuss and I paid the full price. I am extremely annoyed there was no communication that the previous hostess told me the nails would be on the house and I feel like as a business they should've fixed their mistake. I fully planned on tipping my nail tech a good tip for redoing my nails and ensuring they were a good set. I don't know if I will be back to La Bella because of this experience and it saddens me because I truly love this place.

The color selection she…read morehas is huge and she has shellac glitter nail polish which I love; I always top my nails with a layer of glitter polish. Plus everywhere I go, I receive compliments about my nails from the color to the shape. People always think my nails are acrylic, but they're the real deal thanks to Tina, genetics and vitamins. I really enjoyed how Tina took the time to inform me on how to take better care of my nails. Tina also provided me tips on how to make my nails grow longer and stronger. One would think that Tina's prices would be high since she is a traveling licensed manicurist, but her prices are really affordable. I use to get my nails done only once a month at other nail salons, but I go twice because of the affordability and the service is great.

I followed Tina from her former "brick and mortar" salon, and I'm loving her new traveling service. I get gel (shellac) manicures about twice a month, although I can often go 3 weeks without a chip. I play string instruments, so being able to have a durable polish is absolutely required. Gel polish helps to protect my nails, while looking fabulous. Tina can do it all - French, solid, patterns, stripes, polka dots, kitty cats - you name it!
