Said she be back to do top coat but she never came back and started working with someone else. Very rushed, poor customer service, kept looking around for her next client. The lead guy kept ordering my technician around to do other things while she was trying to do my pedicure. I paid for the upgraded pedicure and did NOT receive the experience. I mostly go because I suffer neuropathy in my feet from chemo, I don't talk about it and the salon person doesn't know, but today the foot, toe, ankle, calf, massage was spectacular and done by a young man whose name I can't pronounce. I have been a client of G Nails since the day the opened the doors and through the ownership change. I love the staff. Daniel and Lam are wonderful people that work tirelessly to make sure their clients are well cared for. Every technician works to provide the best service. They work hard and more hours than I could ever. This is a very busy solan because they are good at what they do. If you don't have more than an hour and half, best to try somewhere of less quality. I drive from South Hill Puyallup because I know my nails will look good and stay on. I pay for the best service and tip accordingly. Be kind to people who you are asking to make you look pretty and do something you can't. I have seen people treat the staff horribly over the years. Treating my daughter to a pedicure for her birthday & got a manicure myself. Her first pedicure, so a special occasion. Both of our providers did not talk to us, left multiple times during our appointment without saying anything, sometimes coming back shortly; other times not for a while....not a very warm, welcoming experience and a lack of communication to even know if done with the manicure. I ended up having to leave the salon to get to our birthday dinner plans after an hour and 45 minutes and she was not completely done. We won't be going back here based on the lack of communication by the providers, excessive length of the appointment, and poor quality of the manicure. read more

I made an appointment the day before for 9 am, went in and first off was there until 11:30, I got a full set with French tip and two small designs and it cost me 80 dollars, I ended up with so many cuts on my fingers, my finger got buffered with a new buffer so it hurts, I have not complaints on my pedicure, except one big cut on my toe, they are not gentle, there was a man that was pretty disrespectful towards me while I was getting my nails done because he couldn't do the design I wanted right which was a spider web, I would not go here unless you want cuts on your fingers or to not get what you want, you would think that's for what your paying they would at least try to be respectful and do exactly what you wanted! read more

The quality of nail technicians' work is very good, however we made an appointment for 2manis+2pedis. They accepted every walk-in that arrived, so busy to the point that at least 3 separate technicians worked on each of our nails. What typically takes only 1.5hr took a whopping 3hours! This is unacceptable. The woman who did my pedi forgot to apply clear coat since they kept moving between customers, and I had to remind her. The employees seemed so overloaded and overworked. They shouldn't have accepted every walk-in to avoid being so overloaded. What's the point of appointments? read more

So many things were wrong with my experience here. 1 - They cut my toenails so short they bled. The technician literally made me bleed. Today my big toe is so swollen and sore. To top it off, she put Neosporin on my toe before I left my sticking the end of the used Neosporin tube to my toe.. GROSS. 2- They're very rough with your nails in general. I had gel on my toe nails that they removed by ripping off! In all my years of going to nails salons, I have never had someone rip off gel. They also use a drill for everything - polish removal, etc. Their nail files are even super rough. Nail health is definitely not a priority here. 3 - It was not relaxing. When I go to a nail salon after a long day at work, I want to relax and be pampered. This salon is not relaxing at all. They did my toes and my nails at the same time, which I find odd and uncomfortable. The salon also just doesn't have a relaxing vibe. The technicians yell across the salon to each other, the lighting is bright, it doesn't have any sort of ambiance. 4 - On top of cutting my toes so short they bled, the pedicure looks terrible. I could have done a better job myself. 5 - When I expressed my concern about my pedicure they offered no refund or even an apology. She asked if there was anything they could do to fix it? Yeah, grow my toenails back out and reshape them. At that point, I was so stressed out I didn't want to spend anymore time in the salon, so I just paid and left. We made an appointment for three of us for a mani/pedi before a trip. We got there and waited 15 - 20 min as they were very busy...but walk-ins without appointments got taken in turn . Why have appointments? We spent about two hours here for a mani/pedi, the majority waiting for someone to just help us. Because of how late they were we missed a later appointment. So we finally got someone to give us a tub for our pedicures. The ENTIRE TIME they kept getting up and helping other people. They would do 5 minutes of my daughters stuff then leave her. They would jump up take payment. It was the most unrelaxing experience I've ever had. And the entire time the woman was giving my legs their 1 minute massage she was looking around. Literally rub rub done. I mean. Less than 30 seconds per leg. Which was way more than my arms got. So first time my daughter going to the spa today for a pedi at this establishment,her caregiver took her as it was recommended to me by a friend. She was appalled how filthy the establishment was and sent me pictures. She didn't notice at first until my daughter was seated and soaking her feet or else she would have left immediately. Also she couldn't believe how rude the woman was at the front to a customer that came in wanting her nails fixed from a previous appointment the day before. But after the pandemic, I was surprised to find the management had jammed in several new stations, making it hard to to feel comfortable and it was really disappointing to watch the nail techs (few of the original artists remain) often rushing to tend to 2 clients at the same time and doing a slipshod job to both.
