Dropped by to try out this bagel shop. Located in nice neighborhood. Ordered everything whole wheat with vegetable creme cheese. Good flavor. The ladies behind the counter was lovely.

Whenever I'm in Lynbrook, this is my go-to bagel spot, especially in the mornings. The staff is upbeat, warm, and welcoming. There's plenty of seating in the from and well lit. It can get very busy here, but the staff is plentiful and quick to help everyone out. I always go with a simple and classic sesame bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. The bagels are freshly made and usually very soft and warm. Unfortunately, they're very reserved when it comes to the spread. I, often, have to ask for additional cream cheese. As for coffee, I'm a huge fan of their banana cream pie ice coffee. I remembered that I was skeptical the first time I heard of it but tried it anyway. I absolutely love it. It's such a unique flavor and taste just like banana cream pie. If you're around, and looking for a good bagel or coffee this is place!

Stumbled upon this adorable bagel store! Came here on a Sunday morning with my toddler for the first time. The girl who helped us was extremely pleasant and sweet. She even gave suggestions when I was unsure of what to order. We enjoyed a pretzel bagel and a cinnamon iced coffee. Can't wait to enjoy more breakfast dates here!

Aesthetically, this is the most unique bagel shop I have ever been too. They really advertise their name...especially their iced coffee. They have a ton of flavors. I opted for plain ol' iced coffee but I would definitely come back in the winter to try their unique flavors. A+ for coffee selection and flavor. Their bagels, on the other hand, need work. My whole wheat everything bagel was small and didn't taste quite right. I would hardly call it "everything". I want my bagels doused in seeds and spices, there was barely anything on it. It tasted like a plain bagel that was sitting next to an everything bagel for a few hours. Everyone working behind the counter was super chipper which is nice especially considering they have probably been up since 500 AM prepping for Saturday morning bagel rush.

I really love these pink lights

Going through a lot of review confusion, I'm finding out I have to review a couple of places I swore I thought I reviewed...it's what happens halfway to middle age :( Anyway I love this bagel place. If you're lacking for bagels in the five towns area (surprisingly I have yet to find an extraordinary bagel place there) Lynbrook is just a couple of towns away and this store is almost a straight drive down Broadway. I used to come here more often when I lived with my parents and took two buses to work. If I treated my mom to breakfast and she was driving me I would always suggest to come here. This morning I had eggs & cheese on a whole wheat bagel with sesame seeds. The eggs were fluffy, the cheese yummy, slightly gooey and warm. The whole wheat bagel was fresh, soft and semi fluffy. This morning I chose to drink the leprechaun's gold coffee, what a unique flavor this is. It's advertised as being a nutty raisinish flavor, to me it's sweet and zesty. I would recommend it while they serve it, this store always has unique and different coffee flavors on hand to sample. I actually ended up missing two buses because I chose to stop in and treat myself to this place I missed so much this morning, it was worth missing the two buses and to my astonishment one of my co-workers who lives here saw me waiting for the bus in Lynbrook and drove me into Hewlett anyway. Great bagel place, they have the best bagels I've ever eaten in Nassau County. Other reviewers mentioned this but the place is cash only, they get a five star review despite the fact that they are cash only. But be prepared with cash on hand before you sample this place.

Great place to grab a bagel in the morning many different options to chose from very friendly staff

Great bagels very fresh lines were long and they only take cash there is an atm inside

Great service!! Bagels are yummy but I have to say both times I visited the cream cheese quantity was extremely miniscule. I'm not even a cream cheese connoisseur but I love to at least taste it. The second time I ordered I received butter instead of cream cheese. Will definitely give it another try!

We did a pickup order online and they were ready the moment we walked into the store. Everything was packed nicely and secured (we ordered coffee too!) Never personally been to the shop before this but I have ordered via uber eats and it was actually a nice little establishment. Plenty of seating, nice modern feel. Ample parking - what more can I ask for?

It's just so hard to manipulate the choices the way they have them to order exactly what I want; and I'm not looking for anything Out of the ordinary. Nonetheless, this time I was able to combine things like cream cheese on a bagel and bacon as well; so they got that fixed. And they did add the juices to the online system; kudos for that. Now that I had everything I wanted in the ordering queue, the credit card payment just wouldn't go through. I verified six different times and then press the button to pay I logged off, logged back in. I'm a pretty good troubleshooter, but at some point, anybody would give up. It's just too hard and these things are just too easy to fix. Not sure who manages the system for this store, but they may just be costing them customers.

Only got a French Toast bagel with butter & syrup & could feel the other girls not wanting me to be there. I was once young myself & had "friends" who worked there who were the center of drama in their circles, so it wasn't quite a shocker to me. I'm sure if any of the older ladies who were probably off for Mothers Day were there, the ship would have been ran a bit more tight. ### 5-Star Review for Kookaburra Coffee Co…read more **Absolutely the Best Coffee Experience - Hospitality That Warms the Heart!** I popped into Kookaburra Coffee Co. while visiting the area, craving a good coffee and a few pastries to go with it. As I reached the counter, I noticed the sign: cash only. I realized I didn't have any on me - oops! The owner couldn't have been kinder or more generous. Even after I mentioned I don't live locally and wouldn't be back for months, he insisted on giving me the coffee and pastries on the house. What incredible hospitality in a world where that's rare! And the treats? Phenomenal. The coffee was hands-down the best I've ever had - rich, perfectly brewed, and full of flavor. The cornbread was insanely delicious, moist and flavorful in a way that elevated a simple classic. Then there were these gorgeous pretzel threads (like delicate, twisted pretzel bites) that were addictive - salty, crunchy perfection. This little gem in Long Island (with spots in Rockville Centre and Malverne) is worth seeking out. Pro tip: Bring cash! But even if you forget, you might just encounter the kind of genuine kindness that makes the visit unforgettable. I'll be dreaming about that coffee until my next trip back. Highly recommend!

Visit Date: April 28, 2026…read more I came to Kookaburra before my endocrinologist appointment. It was in my LI Cafe Passport book. I've noticed some reviews say they are cash only, I paid in cash but I also saw some customers using debit cards. I got my dad a bag of coffee because I have Christmas money I had saved to take him out and we only went to Panera a few times so I've been buying him bags of coffee from the nice coffee shops. I got an iced cafe mocha with half and half. It was very good, creamy, chocolately and it gave a nice buzzzz. The coffee shop itself is very small, most of the space is dedicated to their coffee machines and food service. There is limited seating outside but it's not a place where they encourage you to stay and hang out after you get your coffee. It's still good though. It's more of a grab and go coffee spot. They also have no bathrooms but if you ask for a bathroom they will refer you to the train station or the cathedral near the coffee shop. I would recommend coming here for coffee it's really good but if you're looking to linger you can't.
