Rainbow bagel with cream cheese
Arianne M.

I was craving a bagel so wanted to try this bagel shop close to the spa I go to. Inside the bagel shop, there were a few people sitting eating and there was a line. I was so excited when I saw a rainbow bagel. I ordered a rainbow bagel with cream cheese. I also got a grape juice and bag of kettle chips. Unfortunately, the cream cheese had a weird taste. It didn't taste fresh. I would come back for another bagel just with butter this time.

Everything bagel with cream cheese

Nice little Bagel and sandwich shop in Franklin Square. The bagel was nice and warm and crispy. No need to have it toasted. I forgot to ask them to scoop it so I'm living with the extra bread I normally would have removed, but it was good. It was gushing cream cheese, which was even more than I needed, and I like a lot. I had enough for two bagels! The ambiance was busy, lots of in and out traffic with a few tables for eating in. They have a variety of beverages to accompany your meal. The service was quick. They attitude of the staff was short and too the point. Not real friendly, but it's a bagel shop so I didn't expect more (even though a smile and freindly demeanor goes a long way). I'd wasn't blown away but will certainly return!

a half eaten sandwich

Honestly not happy about the sandwich I just received. There was barely any egg on it and only one slice of meat. Not to mention it was a pain just to order from here because they will see you waiting to get an order taken , yet ignore the fact that you have been standing there for 20+ minutes...

Cinnamon raisin bagel

Ambiance and wait staff: this place really deserves a 3.5, it's a hole in the wall, not fancy, pretty outdated and plain, the staff behind the counter, is okay, some of them are really good and then others really are bad! Food: we come here for bagels and breakfast sandwiches. I've gotten many types of bagels here, the one thing I really love is that they have sunflower seed bagels, they are awesome! They also have some good egg everything and cinnamon raisin bagels as well! I usually get a bagel with cream cheese, I know pretty plain.. they have a few different types of cream cheese available and can make any type of egg sandwich. One thing is that they don't put a lot of cream cheese on the bagel, unless you ask for A LOT of cream cheese, which is what I do! Haha. Try the sunflower seed bagel! Happy eating! Nicole

Bro I been going here since I was like 7, come tf on

Okay so I been coming here since I was 7 and not once had this happened, I'm not sure who tf was working there because Ashfaq and the rest of them wouldn't have let this go out. Come tf on guys. Train the new workers please.

BEC on a croissant
Alexandra D.

The Dr. has prescribed a BEC on a croissant and I'm not mad at him! The line is insane! A good sign because the bagels are super fresh! The people at the counter are incredibly friendly and the service is flawless. The line just keeps coming all morning long. Personally I always order the same sandwich. The croissants are large. Big enough to hold two eggs, bacon, cheese, SPK. Perfect. But everyone comes in for the fresh bagels. The smell of everything bagel is in the air. I like the dinning area. Big tables and there's newspapers available to read at your leisure. Super pleasant. I like this place better than A&S. Can't order a croissant at A&S. :)

Instead I got a bunch of blank stares looking like "excuse me, we have gossip to talk about and you're interrupting it" before another girl walked over very friendly asking how I was and what I'd like to order. Only got a French Toast bagel with butter & syrup & could feel the other girls not wanting me to be there. I was once young myself & had "friends" who worked there who were the center of drama in their circles, so it wasn't quite a shocker to me. I'm sure if any of the older ladies who were probably off for Mothers Day were there, the ship would have been ran a bit more tight. Also came home to my bagel barely having any butter or syrup on it which I could put more on myself, but for almost $4 it would be nice to have it be more filled.

We did a pickup order online and they were ready the moment we walked into the store. Everything was packed nicely and secured (we ordered coffee too!) Never personally been to the shop before this but I have ordered via uber eats and it was actually a nice little establishment. Plenty of seating, nice modern feel. Ample parking - what more can I ask for?

It's just so hard to manipulate the choices the way they have them to order exactly what I want; and I'm not looking for anything Out of the ordinary. Nonetheless, this time I was able to combine things like cream cheese on a bagel and bacon as well; so they got that fixed. And they did add the juices to the online system; kudos for that. Now that I had everything I wanted in the ordering queue, the credit card payment just wouldn't go through. I verified six different times and then press the button to pay I logged off, logged back in. I'm a pretty good troubleshooter, but at some point, anybody would give up. It's just too hard and these things are just too easy to fix. Not sure who manages the system for this store, but they may just be costing them customers.

I was super intrigued, especially since we were going to visit my dad for this Father's Day weekend and they would be offering their special menu item on Saturday. They're not too far from us so it's wasn't that bad of a detour. We pulled up, parking was scant, but we managed a spot a little ways down the block. Chris was very helpful. He took our order and was super patient since we were ordering a lot. He also suggested some items for us to get. We ordered a cpl of the signature brisket sandos, a classic BEC, a Philly Lox sando for my dad, and some bagels, lox & cc for the road. Their location is close to my parents' home as well, so everything was still warm when we got there. The brisket was everything - smoky and sweet, and you could see the beautiful rind on its traverse slices. Some of the sandos weren't as filled as others which was a letdown but mine had all the meats so I'm not gonna complain. My dad loved his lox bagel and our kiido loved her classic style BEC - I appreciate that they cut up the bacon so you can easily bite it without having to pull a long slab of bacon out with one little bite. The food was great and I will definitely be back.

It had a large menu and in addition to specially sandwiches also looked like the offered breakfast platters, waffles, and baked goods. It had a nice interior which was decorated with some hilarious bagel signs. It was also clean and had enough seating for those there at 1:30pm on a Sunday. SERVICE - 5/5 The servers behind the counter were quick and friendly. They got my lightly toasted request just right. FOOD - 3.5/5 (but I'm a bagel stickler) For the bagels I feel like I need to rate the bagel vs the entire sandwich separately. Coming from the city I'll admit to being particular about my bagels. I'm exploring spots on Long Island as we are moving to the area. For the bagel itself, it was a little on the flatter side compared to what I'm used to where the bagel has some more height to it. So was my husband's. I ordered my baseline everything bagel lightly toasted. The bagel had a nice little crunch while still being soft on the inside. My husband's looked like it had more everything seasoning than mine. I found the bagel to have a smidge more sweetness than others I've had but not in a bad way at all. For the innards I was really craving lox with scallion cream cheese and tomato (no onion for me). The cream cheese was smooth and quite good and they didn't skimp on the lox. I rate the bagel 5.5/10 but 6.5 as a full sandwich. Hubs got bacon egg and cheese and said the insides were delicious. He rated the bagel 6/10 but 7 for the full sandwich.
