Way overpriced The Nail Tech Kim was rude and obnoxious when I came a little late because of a traffic accident She was unprofessional and was taking clients when there was only 2 techs. She actually scolded me in an embarrassing way in front of clients. I actually apologized and said I'd come back another day and she was pushy and said No, You wait. Out of respect I did. I got my nails done a week ago and they look horrible already. I was overcharged for Pedicure . I was told $35 but was charged $55. The person who was showing pedicure book tried to be sneaky and cover lower prices and offer me a $90 pedicure at first . I only went here because I was a customer of lv nails before they switched over. I don't recommend and I will not be returning. My nails should not be lifting after 8 days. Prices are also sketchy as lady kept changing price for the final price to be way more than what I was told. read more

I never go anywhere else to get my nails done! Every time I go, I'll specifically call ahead to ask for the owner, Ken. I'm super picky about the shape of my nails, and Ken absolutely "nails it" every time!! The entire staff is extremely friendly, and they seem to know me every time I go there. The first time I stopped in was almost 2 years ago-- the first time my husband's daughters visited Florida and met me for the first time. I brought all four of them to the shop and we had a fantastic time doing nails together! I've been getting my nails done here regularly now since my boyfriend (now husband!!) and I started looking at rings. I wanted my nails to be in great shape when he popped the question! I had perfect nails for my engagement, and of course, I came back from my wedding, and even my honeymoon! Ken and LV nails have been with me from the proposal all the way through my wedding and honeymoon, so of course, they are like family!! Super clean, good prices, great tools, and all of the latest trends in nail designs and products. I recommend them every time someone compliments my nails. Skip this place. Their prices are about the same as everywhere else in this area. That's the only positive thing I have to say. I went with my daughter for her 16th birthday. We were having a girls' day. We each had pictures of what we wanted. Mine was very simple. Gold dots. I had to explain what to use to make gold dots. Seriously? I specifically asked to have my cuticles cleaned up. He didn't touch them. The shape was decent, but after less than a week, both of our full sets have fallen off. I'm used to keeping mine on for months with regular touch ups. Now I'm going to have to pay for a full set again. The customer service is horrible. They barely acknowledge your existence let alone be personable. I told them that it was my daughter's sweet sixteen. They said nothing. Not even happy birthday. This place isn't great but it's also not the worst Iv been to. My usual place was booked so I came here for a full set. At first he tried to peel the old set off but started tearing my nail off so I had to tell the guy to soak my nails off. After they were off he proceeded to rush through the whole process. They ended up charging me $40 which I think is fairly high for the job that they did. I probably won't ever go back. read more

I took my girlfriend to get some gels removed at this place. There was no one on the front desk, we had to wait around 20 minutes to be helped out, and the gentleman working there was one of the rudest people I've met. At first I thought it was a bit entertaining watching this sassy Asian gentlemen argue with his clients to not give them what they wanted, but it got old pretty quick. They left my girlfriends hands soaking in a chemical for more than 40 minutes, partly due because the sassy gentleman was working on three people at the same time. Another customer sat next to her and asked about for some color, the guy said it would be 30 dollars. She immediately looked at us like wtf is he kidding. He wasn't. He made a snarky remark and kept working. We paid and left. Not a good experience . Would not recommend. You guys deserve better, go somewhere else. read more

WORST Experience at a Nail Salon! I asked for a pedicure with White tips on my toes but instead of giving me white tips the nail technician decided that he was just going to paint them all white because my toe nail was crooked and he wasn't able to do a straight line. I told him that I came in with white tips though and he said no this one's better... I didn't want to argue with him so I let it go... Then he asked me what color I wanted for my fingernails and to make it easier I showed him a picture of what i wanted and he said that he could do.that because its very simple. after the first nail was done i wasn't happy with it and he got mad and took it off and made me wait an hour for someone else to help me. Finally the next person started on them and it looked horrible but he asked me to wait until he was done to see if I like them, so I said okay and after they were finished I asked him if there was anyway to fix them because it wasn't what i asked for but I didn't want to spend another 4 hours there so did he have a way to blend the colors more and he said No! I let him do the full set so now if i wanted it fixed i needed to pay $15 more! I tried to explain to him that I did say I didn't like them but he asked me to let him finish them. He then raised his voice to me and asked me how come i didn't pick an ombré powder for my nails if i wanted ombré and i said because i chose from the options you gave me and he said it was my fault because I don't even know what powder is for the ombré and I'm too picky and I expect too much. I was so upset that I just wanted to go home at this point so i paid them what they wanted and right as i was walking out the door the man stopped me and said "Hey! You come back tomorrow and i'll fix the gel on your toes for $15 more." I've attached a picture of what they told me they could do compared to what I actually got!! I stopped in today for an eyebrow waxing. I was seen right away and the gentleman spent a lot of time (but not in a creepy way) making sure that he didn't leave any stragglers. It's was super cheap - $8 plus tip. I've been here before and I'll continue to go back because the wait is never long, the price is right and they are really convenient. The only thing I don't like is if you pay with a credit card you can't tip on your card. Make sure you have a few bucks with you so you can show them some love. read more

I went to go get my armpits waxed and they did a terrible job!!! The lady did not know what she was doing and it was so unprofessional. She ended up plucking each individual hair out of my armpit. It was the most painful experience ever. I do Not recommend at all. They made me pay the $15 for a terrible waxing job. I came out with my armpits still having hair everywhere. I do not recommend this salon! The man that gave me a deluxe pedicure used a cheese grater on my heels so hard that he cut me. He followed up by scrubbing my heels ferociously with a pumice stone. I left there and my feet hurt so bad once I got home I called my daughter over to look at my feet because they hurt so bad. My heels were so red and had cuts all over and you can see the meat! I haven't been Able to walk for 3 days. I've had Neosporin on my heels and socks for 2 days unable to walk. Today I'm still hobbling. read more

Did not like my "gel powder overlay" my nails looked like jelly beans, super thick and it took me 3 hours at home to soak them off! After I got most of it off there was excess stuck to the sides of my nail bed and if I tried to remove it my skin would bleed. I also had my lip waxed there, which was really irritated when I left but the next day my skin was broke out. All of this and it cost me $70, and I had to go somewhere else to get the gel powder completely off, NEVER EVER AGAIN! read more

I have been seeing Lisa and Tina at LV nails since I had hip replacement surgery in April. On my initial visit, I showed Lisa that my big toes had brown spots on them and that I had been seeing a podiatrist for over a year trying to clear the discoloration. Lisa gave me an ointment to put on my tows and the discoloration cleared within one month! I have had mani and pedi every four weeks and couldn't be happier with Lisa at LV Nails! I enjoy the special massage treatment of my back while getting my pedicure and enjoy the leg and foot massage as well. Listen, I have been to a lot of salons since i moved to Tavares, and typically I'm a Charlie's nail salon girl but I was in a rush and they were crazy busy. So I came here. UM LOVED IT. First, they put a plastic protective wrapping in the tub which is super awesome! Second, the deluxe pedi with the sugar scrub and massage all come with the same scent packets and is the most relaxing thing ever. The hot towels toilet, oh so nice! They are super sweet to. I did not like the multiple experiences I had at this nail salon. In a small town, it's difficult to find a nail salon that you like. So, I tried going back to this one multiple times. However each time I went I was never satisfied. I was told the wait would only be ten minutes and it was always more. The nail tech that did my mom's manicure cut her cuticles to the point where they were bleeding. I wanted an acrylic fill, but the nail tech I went to insisted on pink and whites. I told her no, but she did them anyway! Clearly she was not interested in what I wanted. She was more interested on how much money she could make from me. Excellent customer service. I have very sensitive nails and they were very accommodating. Also after I figured out the color I chose was not going to work out they allowed me to return a few days later to have the color changed at no charge. I don't even want to give this place 1 star. It's crap. Tried it once a couple of months ago and the lady cut into my skin under my nail so bad that I had a scab form. Tried it again yesterday and I was cut 3 times along my cuticles. One cut caused numbness in the tip of my index finger. My toes were not fully painted and the quality of the nails is HORRIBLE! Bubbles in the paint on my fingers. My cousins paint on her fingers is already chipping AND it's supposed to be gel. She also has more paint on her skin than on her toes. We paid $70 a piece for our nails and they hardly took time to even do the massage. DO NOT GO TO THIS CRAPPY PLACE! Trust me, I'm saving you money and frustration. read more

This place is absolutely horrible, the pedicure tub was disgusting and it smells, they didn't put any soap or salt in the water, the pumice stones are so dirty and they look like they are as old as I am. They yelled at one of their employees infront of a full house and it was very unprofessional and because of these things I will never be going there again and never will I ever recommend anyone to go there. read more

First of all, my nails are crooked, uneven and not the same length, I asked for almond and they are coffin shaped. We visited during a recent trip to Florida based on a friend's recommendation and were, unfortunately, not impressed. My mom and I splurged for the $35 executive pedicure (which is more than I had anticipated given the area and what was included in the package) because it's only slightly more than the regular pedicure. The executive pedicure consisted of a lackluster calf massage (no foot massage), a warm wrap, and painting my nails. The nail technicians were incredibly sweet, but that's really all this salon has to offer. read more
