The directions took me to a day care. This is close to that, in the shopping center with Big lots near Hungry Howie's. I got right in for a pedicure. They have wifi available if you ask them. Had a man named Bill ( he had to think about it so I'm pretty sure he made it up on the fly) . I love hot water but it was sooo hot I couldn't tolerate it. Asked if they could cool it down. Still too hot. Removed my old polish then used a grinder, which I've never had happen. He was rough and painful. I am watching expecting blood. I asked for nail art and he gives me some sheets of tiny stickers like I'm a toddler. Also a first .... The massage was AMAZING. I suddenly forgive him for all the pain and suffering and tiny sticker offer. He offered me water or a soda while I was drying. He did a decent job on the polish. Prices are very reasonable compared to other shops. We did try to get a walk in appointment yet due to Covid 19, we had to wait until the next day which was fine with us. Had a full set gems, and waxing over all cleanliness of shop, staff friendliness and prices all warranted a true 5 star rating. We will definitely one back again. read more

Horrible. Went to have powder dipped nails removed and all he did was put my fingers in a bowl of warm water with glass beads then pulled what was left of the nail treatment off. He cut way up onto the to of my cuticles so immediately the skin was bleeding and hurt. The nail polish did not even last an hour before coming off 1 100% do not recommend this business. My personal experience was 1 star, but every other customer I spoke with loved this place adn their female technicians, so I am giving 2 stars. I get my nails done once in a while for special events. I went to Sophia's Nails June 2023 before leaving on a trip. I selected the salon because of the good online reviews. I made an appt in advance for a pedicure and french manicure. I was paired with some guy that gave me the worst pedicure I ever had. Not all my toe nails were even fully painted (which I did not realize until that night due to the light metalic nail color and my poor eye sight). The technician seemed mad I wanted a french manicure too as he had a regular coming in for a pedicure. It was the worst french manicure I have ever received. I told him I did not want a pink base but he used it any way. I told him I wnated Squoval shape (flat top oval to sides) but he didn;t seem to know what that meant and did what he wanted. He used really old product. It left stringy polish strands on fingers. After waiting 25 minutes for it to dry, I had to leave to get ready for my trip , even though nails were not completely dry They knew it was a very bad job b/c I was not charged the full amount. French Nail Polish never dried right and developed air bubble during plane flight that evening (8 hours later). Had to remove hand nail polish while on my trip and fill in my toe color when I got home. I can't make myself try this salon again. read more
