I was serviced by Lili and was in the chair for about two hours for acrylic tips with gel. She took her time and paid close attention to detail in every step. Even though I chose a single color with no art, she was extremely careful not to get polish on my skin and made sure every nail was smooth, clean, and bubble-free. During shaping, she was gentle and precise. I told her I didn't want that typical "hump" many salons build into acrylics. I prefer a more natural look and she absolutely nailed it. These are the most natural-looking acrylics I've ever had, and I've visited a lot of salons. My only concern was sanitation. Lili did nick me a couple of times while filing, and I didn't notice any tools being sanitized or individually wrapped the way they usually are in NY salons. The nail file also didn't appear to be disposable, although it looked fairly new. It didn't affect my overall experience, but it did make me a bit nervous simply because I'm used to stricter hygiene practices. (Update: its been a few days and the cuts have not gotten worse. She treated them when she noticed them, so thats probably why) That said, I watched several other customers come in during my visit, and everyone seemed genuinely happy and well cared for. The customer service was excellent, and the work quality was even better. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. If I lived in the area, I'd absolutely return. Lili earned every penny of her tip.
