I get my nails and facials done here.The ladies here are so much fun and they treat you like family. Emma the owner is so awesome. My nails always come out so cute and have grown so much and I get compliments on them all the time. I recently started getting my facials here I have gotten microneedling which I had never heard of before but is amazing. I am super happy with the results, the esthetician Ashley is so professional and explains everything and she makes the experience super comfortable.We have such a great conversation by the time I know it I'm already done. The staff at LV day spa are super friendly! However, the quality of the SNS dip that was done on my nails was not very good. It was thick and was chipping a few days after. I've never been here but my husband often gets massages here so I am basing it on his feedback. He says it's clean, great massages and the price is good. There aren't a ton of options in Laveen so I'm glad that this place works :-) We also have called in last minute several tomes and for the most part they are able to accommodate us. If I could leave this place zero stars I would I came in this afternoon before I had to go to work to get a fill I also had two broken nails one was a stiletto and one was a coffin nail. first of all she broke my pinky nail so there was no tip the skin was exposed and my finger nail bed was extremely raw and sensitive to even The air we continue the service and I asked her to not put a nail on the pinky she continue to fill the rest of my nails and what I was left with was disgusting my coffin nails were in a weird oval shape One of them looks like a claw my stilettos she filed at the tip and created a weird curve my nails look horrible these are the grossest pair of nails I've ever seen in my life please look very carefully at the pictures and never stop here it is not worth your time!!!! I came for the first time me & my mother for mothers day, The whole time you could tell they were talking about us. I have skin pigmentation in my knees & so they are a different color than my normal skin, & they made comments about that. Showing eachother. When the lady asked if me & my mom we're sisters i told them no that she was my mother. She then began to scream & act as if they put money on it. Or bet on it. I dont appreciate anything about this experience. i was not comfortable at all. A whole nail experience you are supposed to communicate with a person & make them feel comfortable! Right when I walked in, it was very spacious and welcoming. The services were very straight forward and easy to understand. This is not something that I do often and had to be shown the ropes by my girlfriend. I got the $30 package which included feet soaking, toe nails clipped, Callus remover, sugar scrub, and a lotion massage. I'm sure many people get this done on a regular basis, however I thought this was incredible. Especially after standing up all day working, walking back and forth from place to place, this is a biweekly must have now! The massage chairs had me wanting to take a nap, but I snore sometimes and my mouth opens and I look a little crazy. I definitely had to keep that in mind before passing out from pure pleasure. I went in with some gnarly feet and short lashes. My toes were like 3 months overdue and Lynn did an amazing job. I live in Laveen and finally found my home for getting my nails and pedi. She did a great job of getting rid of all my gunk. I'm not exaggerating, I had talons. Emma, the new owner was funny and up-sold me lashes. I was hesitant but had seen a girl leaving who had just had hers done and they looked amazing. I'm so glad I did. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't needed to use any eyeliner or mascara. Game changer. I was part of a pre Mother's Day group that came in for services yesterday (5/11/21) To say I was greeted with rudness and a negative attitude by the owner is an understatement. I knew right then that I would in no way patronize her with my hard earned money. We had appointments and on average our appointments started at least 30 mins late and when we asked what the reason for the delay with a very ugly attitude responded "she's with a customer". Really? What's the point in an appointment. There must be better customer service and professionalism provided in order for the business to remain in business. read more

We called to make an appointment last week for today. They don't take appointments on the weekends. So we came early enough to hopefully be the first ones here. However, when we opened the door, there were already customers having services. We were told to sit in pedicure chairs. While I was getting my pedicure, no one came to do my wife's. When my pedicure was done, the same person did my fill. This whole time no one approached my wife. Now this was the fastest pedicure and fill I think I've ever had. An hour and 15 min for both. The same person who did my service then went and started on my wife. Bottom line is, if more than 1 person is going with you, one of you will have to wait. So it takes twice as long. The Spa itself is beautiful, and is very clean. Unfortunately, my experience was not great. My nail tech, Nikkie, was not friendly at all. She was rude and kind of insulting. So customer service isn't her strong point, not what I went for right? Well my manicure ended up being less than OK as well. She ignored me when I asked for a couple nails to be cut shorter. I got a gel manicure and 24 hours later, one chipped. 48 hours later, another gel is completely peeling off. And it's only gotten worse one more day after that. I'm very disappointed in what has happened to this place. It used to be one of my favorite places to go. In fact, my Mom and I would go regularly for a mother-daughter pamper day and were treated so nicely. Then the way they did nails started slipping away, as did their customer care principles. The only thing that I was still going there for was eye brow waxing (even my Mom and I had to find another place for our mother-daughter time). And then today, they lost me as a customer for good. I will not return. I went in for an eyebrow wax, and they shook their head "no" at me and after making eye contact with a person shaking their head "no" at me for what felt like minutes, she finally spoke and said it would be a long time. There could have been so many better ways to go about this. I'm fine with the message that they were busy and would have gladly came back later, but customer service goes a long way in my book. Their approach felt so unwelcoming and disrespectful. Got a massage here, would give 0 stars if I could. Told the masseuse I have a kink in my neck and that's the only reason I was there because extreme pain and I couldn't move it. She gives subpar massage and I ask for more pressure but she doesn't give any. After hour massage ends she goes yeah the kink won't come out with one massage, just keep stretching it and drink a lot of water? Why didn't she tell me that in the beginning? They offer what you'd expect from a typical nail salon but it seems to have a little more glitz. It's squeaky clean inside and it's really pretty with wood floors and chandeliers. The prices are on par with what you'd expect pretty much anywhere. There are a lot of pedicure chairs and I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be helped. I love this place! read more

I settled on 2-stars after going back and forth between giving LV Day Spa 2-stars or 3-stars. In the end a 2-star rating won out because of the inconsistent service I have received. And for the record, after my last experience (the 2-star rating), I probably won't go back. In full disclosure, I am not one of the women who is loyal to a particular technician or even a certain Nail Salon. I get a non-complicated basic manicure and am more about hanging out with my girlfriends for the pedicure. LV Day Spa offers massages as well. I typically go someplace based on convenience and need. The great tragedy of my experiences at LV Day Spa is that this salon is located, quite literally, down the street from my house. Sigh. Let me start with the two star service from the managers/owners. On four different occasions, over the course of the last three months, I have scheduled advanced "appointments" only to end up waiting 20-30 minutes extra to get in. For a full-time working mother this is frustrating because I really only have an hour to myself. So the fact that I make an appointment to optimize my time only to have the time disrespected is very frustrating. On another occasion, I called early on a Saturday morning to scheduled a massage. The appointed time was for 2pm. I was called by the salon at 1:30 to say that their massage therapist cancelled. This was frustrating because by 1:30pm on a Saturday it was too late to get in to any other location for a massage I sorely needed. At NONE of these events, did the managers/owners ever offer me a consiliatory offer (next one on us, a discount on services, a free service). I did get offered an apology -- each of the FOUR times. I will miss going to LV Day Spa because they do have great massage therapists. I've had both Erica and Bobbie. Both are wonderful and attentative. However (and I do apologize that there is a "HOWEVER"), getting a massage in a nail salon is counter productive if you are going for relaxation. You can hear the noise and laughter from the salon as the massage rooms are right off the main area. Even if your massage therapist tries to play music, the conflicting jovial comraderie from the main salon comes streaming into the room. I'm hoping these are growing pains for the business. But what I experienced was one too many times for me. read more

I used to come to this salon and then stopped because I got bad service and product for a high price. If I'm paying more than the other shops charge I better have a great exp and great nails. You don't get that here. Nail tech couldn't understand "short square" these are more round than square I'll have to refile my nails once I get home which I shouldn't have to do. Nail tech was also rude when I asked him to make them more square and it's the first time I've ever been asked to stop touching my phone. Like is it distracting you? Excellent customer service along with a dedication to quality services and a clean salon made the difference. I never went to another nail place after that. Then the salon was sold to new management and it wasn't the same. Enter LV Day Spa at 35th Ave & Baseline. Closer to me first of all, with expanded services but the same incredible crew I'd grown to know and love. No detail was spared here- gorgeous crystal chandeliers to a back room for the upgraded pedicure services. Water & a glass of wine are included in most nail services but upgrade to the organic or jelly nail services and get to the VIP room with mimosas, snacks, and a calmer, quieter environment. I feel like this is my "Cheers" of nail salons. They know my name and take care of me. Try the Organic pedicure ($55) and 60-minute table massage ($50). Worth every penny & then some. Came here and we had appointments but when a walk in came in they rushed through my brothers nails to serve them and made me wait. I showed the lady what I wanted and kept insisting I wanted clear with a design but told me it's not nice and said to chose a color and when the gel didn't set right she just painted over it with another color thinking it was nice. As far as the massage goes, Erica is the best! I have done my tours of massage places and therapists over the past 6 years and I am glad I stumbled upon this place. Erica listened to my concerns, was able to provide a firm pressure massage paying special attention to my areas of concern. $50 for a one hour massage, no membership pushed or needed.
