This place is close to my work and they are always nice about accommodating my last minute appointments. The place is clean and the staff is always pleasant. Although some of my favorite gals over the years have left, I've found a keeper in Lynn. She's so detail oriented and never seems to rush, even if the appointment takes me past their closing time. They have a great selection of services and has become my go to spot for nails, massages and waxing. I usually do gel or regular so I can't tell you about the acrylics or other services. I always get the deluxe package that includes extra massage and paraffin wax and sugar scrub. First time mom (9 week old baby) who is exclusively breastfeeding, and let me tell you, it's hard to leave anywhere for more than 2 hrs. I was able to make an appointment for a DIP power manicure (they had to remove the horrible job I had done at another shop), gel pedicure and a full face wax. Not only was actually seen at my exact appointment time, but I was able to get my services done with in 1hr and 30 min. I'm used to other shops splitting up services which can take several hours but I had my dip manicure and gel pedicure done at the same time. The prices are reasonable and the service was amazing. I enjoyed the staff so much! The technician who performed my dip manicure was Kelly! She had to fix my nails and listened to my requests. She was phenomenal. The technician who did my gel manicure and she also did my face wax was Luna! Let me tell you, Luna is so much fun. She has fire red hair and she was a pleasure to converse with. I would recommend all my friends to get their nails done here. Now, what is also a great relief is that they have take precautions to ensure COVID safety. Now, what that said they have increased their services by $5. For me, there is no question, I would pay this fee if it meant that they are talking all the steps to make me feel safe and I definitely feel safe to get my services done. read more

I went to do my nails as a repeat customer and I was very badly treated by one of the male employees, who verbally attacked me for no reason. Another lady customer spoke up in my defense about how rude this guy was. The manager was scared of this violent employee, and did nothing. When you go to do your mails you go to a relaxed environment to enjoy the time and have your service provided. Me and the other client will never put our foot in this place again at least until that employee is not longer there. It was a horrible experience. read more

Walked in at 11:00 on a weekday, and I was the only person in the joint! But within 15 minutes the place was packed. The place is kind of small, so they can't service too many people at once. I'd say they had about six employees when i was there. Two were males, btw. They started having to turn same-day appointments away on the phone. I just got a color change on my toes, and the tech did a great job. Only $7! Cheaper than the Happy Nails in NB. One little annoyance... Been going here every since. This place is clean and everybody is so polite. No one pushes sales on you and by far the best gel manicure I have ever gotten and usually last up to three weeks and they have so many colors to pick from. Sigh. I went back and forth on 2 or 3 stars. I suppose it just depends on the day, which is unfortunate. I started going here in July 2012, every 3 weeks to change out my Gels. As the other reviewers said, it was under different management. They ALWAYS did a great job, so I laughed off the horrific pink walls and more pushy up selling. Lol. Since the change in ownership, my experiences have been completely unpredictable. Pros: The new decor is truly beautiful. SOME of the nail technicians are AMAZING! They have always gotten me in quickly as a walk-in. Free beverages, relaxing environment and convenient location in Tustin. Wide variety of gel colors and quality polish that truly lasts 2-3 weeks. Brow waxing has been consistently good for 2 years, same woman. Cons: None of the above really matters if, at any given time, my manicure will look like I did it myself. Twice, I went back in, asking to have my nails fixed. Gels shouldn't chip or peel within 24 hours, they never did before! The owner asked me what I had done to them...Um, yeah, nothing. She then offered $10 off to redo them, which I did (yes, I essentially paid for 2 manicures in 24 hours). The second time I got a black Matte. I ended up soaking those off myself, even after the "fix", because I was leaving town and didn't have time to go back in. The last time I went in, I got a standard french manicure with a flower. I've had flowers done by some of their technicians that are magazine worthy! This one looked like I did it myself...with my left hand. I didn't bother going back and finding out how it was somehow my fault, or paying for yet another service. Bottom Line: The right day will get this place 5 stars, for sure! They have a few technicians that are incredible and do a truly artistic job! I won't be returning though. I need somewhere that can take me on a whim and not have such a discrepancy in turn out. read more

The manicurists get my nails to look exactly how I want and are always careful about what they do. The salon is extremely clean and everything is sanitized the way it should be. I would normally give credit where it's due but my experience here was horrible. I just went for an eyebrow and lip wax and it was so bad that I wouldn't even come back or try them doing my nails. The lady kept pushing my head around to move side to side. She was so rough, and I understand getting waxed isn't normally a pleasant experience as it is but this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had because of her customer service. She was so rough and after wiping off the wax she was so rough rubbing it off. On top of all that, she gives me the mirror to look at my eyebrows and my normal shape is totally gone, there is still hair left to be plucked, and my eyebrows just look so unmatched. She asked if they were okay, but had I said no then she would have gone back in with pushing my head back and forth and giving me no eyebrows. You can tell she just put the wax where there was hair to get it off, not taking into consideration of how to maintain a shape of eyebrows. This was literally a horrific experience. read more

Luxury Nails is that salon. The salon has a spa feel with soft music and soft spoken employees. I appreciate that they don't interrupt my experience with constant up sells. The pricing is as reasonable as it gets. Today I enjoyed their highest priced manicure and pedicure package with extra foot massage. I also had complete facial waxing. I came here on a whim while waiting for my dog to be groomed. They did an excellent job. I believe the guys name was James. He was quick and thorough. He did not try to upsell or be pushy. My nails turned out exactly the way I wanted. The place itself is very clean a sanitary. They offer complimentary soda which was a nice touch. It was a great value for a great job. They no longer accept tips via credit card anymore, and I didn't know until I was about to pay. The lady pointed to a sign behind her that stated the new rule, and I apologized profusely. She just mumbled to add the tip on my receipt and walked away. I tried to apologize again and said thank you but was given the cold shoulder. So make sure you read EEEVVVEEERRRYYY SIGN before you get anything done! Also, the lady was not pleasant from the get go and was less than thrilled when I decided to just get a classic pedicure. They did an absolutely amazing job on my gel manicure, pedicure, and wax, spending a ton of time on massaging my feet, calves, hands, and arms. They were meticulous about perfecting the nail polish and making sure every last hair was gone from my wax. Gel mani + regular pedi for only $40?! Ridiculously amazing.
