They were very nice to me and my friend and it's peace and quiet very clean very polite

Dang it, why isn't this my go-to nail spot? *crying emoji* I stopped here when I was in the area. They took me at 6:30 pm even though they closed at 7 because they knew I came from out of town. I got a regular pedicure and dip powder for my nails. I was shocked when they showed me how many colors they had for the dip powder. They have more than some salon's gel selections. Both my pedi and mani came out beautiful and the ladies were so friendly! The crazy part was the dip powder was $35 and pedi was $19. I'm used to paying $50+ for dip powder. Best salon I've ever been to! Guess I have to make excuses to just show up in Tustin every few weeks. read more

The first time I went Tony did my nails and I was happy. I did a dip French manicure He was not talkative at all and really didn't seem happy but he did ok. This last time I called for him and when I got there they said he was busy so Jenny did my nails Bad really bad A few days later they still hurt. Not only did she cut them so short they are dip and very thick. All my cuticles were cut and scraped by the nail file drill. I will never go back read more

I had gone to get my nails done here about a month ago. In this process there was horrible communication of what I want. I told the lady that I did not want acrylics but was given them anyway. In the end the nails looks nice but that is beside the point. When I went to get them taken off today the lady ripped my acrylics off instead of soaking them! Of course this hurt but she also ripped of a small part of one of my nails. It's still hurt right now and just recently stopped bleeding. On top of all of this the lady cut my nails down as short as possible which is not something that I ever wanted. I regret ever recommending this place to my friends. I will not be coming back. read more

Always friendly, very clean/safe, offering a great menu of options depending on what you are looking for- you definitely get your money's worth time wise. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is!! I bring all my friends to this salon. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR- ask for Holly!!! Her attention to detail and focus on excellent service...you won't regret it! I appreciate her so much! I've only used Holly, but my friends have all raved over their experiences with others. I have been going to Luxury Nails since January 2019, and the service has always been EXCEPTIONAL. Kathy the manager/owner, Luna for Facials and Trinny for Mani/Pedi, really always go ABOVE AND BEYOND. Their attention to detail, care, and service is 100%! On 9/25, my birthday I was getting a Mani/Pedi done and had taken off my Lululemon sweatshirt and placed it carefully on my lap. During my manicure, paraffin wax was used for a hand treatment and by accident some it poured out of the bag and leaked down my arm, the towel, and right on top of my sweatshirt. A TOTAL accident! Trinny right away took care of my sweatshirt and let her manager Kathy know what had happened. Quickly it was taken to a Dry Cleaner a couple doors down. Today I returned to Luxury Nails to let them know the wax had completely been removed and no stains left behind. Not only did they reimburse me for the dry cleaning, Trinny had purchased a NEW Lululemon Sweatshirt for me!!! A $118 sweatshirt!!! It seriously brought me to tears to think of how lovely these ladies are and care for me as a customer and I for them! Luckily all is well, and Trinny can return the purchase but I wanted to just thank them publicly for being so wonderful and kind. read more

I scheduled an appointment with a tech that I like and was given a completely different person (who I would have willfully avoided, given that particular person cut my toe cuticle the last time she worked on me). She sped through the service and finished at least 10 minutes ahead of the manicurist. Very disappointing. Most recently, I learned that a fraudulent charge was put on a debit card I never use (which is why it was so easy to spot). The only way my debit card could be used without a pin is by swiping in the payment system and signing. My purse is only accessible to myself and the techs (it sits behind my chair). THIS IS SHADY AF. I am bringing this issue in person to the owner this week. If you want to reply to me here and give me your best contact information, I am happy to provide more details. read more

I'm a regular here and haven't posted a review in quite a while but the hard working ladies here deserve a 5 star review for delivering consistently great results for dip/ANC manicures and pedicures. The best value on pedicures is the deluxe - gel or regular polish. I typically ask for Bella for my dip manicure - but have had great results with Susan and Julie too. They have a ton of dip color options now. Luna provides a great pedicure - and she provides a quality eyebrow wax too. I recommend making an appointment- just a smoother experience. Cathy is the manager - she does a good job managing walk-ins too. read more

Last time I'll ever give this place another chance. Each time I go in the guy that works there always botches my real nails and files them so crooked that it loses its shape and there's no repair, plus it's half as short as when he started! All my nails are totally different shape and all different lengths! He paints all over my cuticles and there's bubbles under the paint. When I pointed out to him, he has the worst attitude talks shit under his breath and acts like he's doing me a favor when redoing them. I have no time to spend two hours in a nail salon nonetheless have to deal with your shitty attitude! When he was so rude to me I told him just to leave my right hand alone and just to fix the left-hand because I had to go, he had the biggest attitude with me, Was extremely rude, and insists on redoing my right hand when the left hand still need more work. He then kept grabbing my right hand even though I insisted I wanted to leave it as is since I didn't have another hour to spare. When I declined he threw my hand back down on the towel. WOW! At that point I decided just to leave and went to the register to pay. The owner comes over to see what's going on & I show her my nails and told her that all I wanted and had time for was to fix my left hand which he already started filing the paint off to correct the polish that spilled over my cuticles! They bill me for FULL work and she tries to give me a $25 gift certificate to return. I told her that I will never return to this place and gave her the gift certificate back. Take a look at the work he did and tried to charge me in full for. I have no problem with paying extra for anything but how can you charge a customer for incomplete work and allow your employees to have such a disgraceful attitude towards their customers due to their own incompetence?! She asked why she hasn't seen me in a long time? Well now I remember why don't return. Lesson learned twice! Take a look at my nails.. My real nails! Completely botched and uneven in shape and length!! To add to that they constantly talk smack when you choose a nail color in gel then it doesn't come out like their samples and you request a different color. WTH! Horrible place! read more

Vicky did a great job on my dip manicure! I tried out a new nail shape and she helped me pick a great color :) she was great.

I was really hoping to like this place as I was referred by a friend. I had dip powder done, started peeling one week out. Went in for it to be corrected and was told some nails don't take dip well, I was picking at my nails, it was almost 2 weeks and it might not last long. They did fix the nails that started chipping but was not happy to do so, more annoyed. I inquired about what if the others start peeling and was told, it's almost 2 weeks so....I asked if they could potentially put a top coat on for prevention and she said no. I told her, fine I guess I'll just have to come back. She sadly didn't seem to care. Not even a sorry, I'll make it right. Don't recommend. Julie was the manicurist. read more

I went there this past weekend with my boyfriend. It was my boyfriend's first manicure and pedicure, so he did not know what to expect, but I was disappointed that his first experience was horrible. (I'll get to him later.) I got a French gel manicure and a pedicure. The lady that did my French gel manicure seemed to know what she was doing when removing my previous gel nail polish, but when she went to trim down my nails, I had a horrible feeling. She cut my nails a little too short, to the point where on some fingers, she cut my skin. That was strike one. I got my nails done on Sunday. They've already begun to chip. Strike two. As for my pedicure, the lady that did my toes made me jump because she inadvertently STABBED me between the skin and nail, on my pinky toe. Strike three. I didn't see my boyfriend's nails until after we were done. I noticed that his middle finger was BLEEDING because the lady who did his nails managed to cut his skin. A day later (yesterday), he told me that the corners of his fingers feel slightly bruised. He also mentioned that he has never had his nails cut this short before. There is strike four and five. Although this place is close to him, I reckon we are going back, ever. Even though they are relatively cheap (in comparison to the place across the street), I am sure there are other places that are more worthwhile to go. I am rather disappointed because I plan on getting my GEL French manicure re-done, somewhere else, sometime this week. This place was a complete waste of money! Oh, and how is it possible that I was charged $103 for a manicure/pedicure for two people, when one of the people did not get polish at all? His nails weren't even buffed. On a bright note, the people there appear friendly. They'll even be sneaky and tell you that if you like their work, to please come back and see them. We received two $5 off coupons, for the NEXT time around. Any takers? BOTTOM LINE: do NOT go here. read more

I came here on a whim a few weeks ago. The salon looked really new inside like it had just been remodeled and based on the conversations between returning clients and the owner it seems like it had. I guess they are under new ownership as well based on the other reviews here. I had Cyndie do my gel manicure and she did great! I picked out a coral color and she asked if I wanted to do all 10 nails the same color or do 8 nails the same color and 2 nails a different color. I chose to do 8 nails with the coral color and my ring finger on each hand a gold sparkly color which turned out looking really cute! I definitely liked how she didn't try to up-sell me for other services. I think the entire service was $25? I don't remember, but for the quality of the manicure, I will definitely keep coming back! My favorite nail artist is Holly. Imagine my sadness when Luxury Nails closed down during the pandemic. When I saw the doors were open I called to make an appointment only to be told that Holly didn't work there. I was very sad and decided to try new salons. But recently something made me go In and what a surprise! Holly was back. I promptly made an appointment for a gel mani. It was so nice. Only reason for 4 and not 5 is that the massage was short and not done like before. Also my nails weren't as perfect as I remember. read more

I have been to this nail salon a handful of times and each time it feels like the customer service gets worse. I will say that the ladies working here are nice/polite but nice doesn't mean they know what they're doing. I got acrylics put on my nails on a Thursday. The woman doing them was afraid to do the "heart shape" that's really more like a half moon with two peaks so I settled for a half moon that was super uneven. Within ONE week, 3 of the nails had fallen off and they looked REALLY grown out. I don't have a physical job or a job where I use my hands a lot, they were just done wrong. There's a few issues with getting bad service here: 1. They cannot communicate to help you fix the problem, so it's sort of a lost cause from the start. No one there speaks solid English enough to understand what you are saying. Then, 4 people would stand around you speaking in another language and decide how they will fix it, and they will think whatever they discussed is the right answer and you'll have to try and explain what you want. 2. They don't care about the customer and are cheap. They wanted to fix the 3 nails that fell off and send me off. I can't keep coming back to get my nails fixed and these were clearly done wrong so more were bound to fall off! They didn't seem to understand that and when I asked to have them taken off completely, they acted like I was crazy. I don't have time to come in every week, this is why I pay for acrylic, so I can come in every 2 to 3 weeks. 3. They WILL blame you if they mess up. The woman who has done my acrylics before, who I haven't gone back to get them fixed before because she's messed up, tried to tell me that it's my "nail beds" that caused the problem. Kawaii Nails acrylics lasted 1 month on me before needing a fill, and if done right, this salon can last up to 2 weeks. 3. I paid $66, $12 of which was tip, to have acrylics for 1 week. That is just crazy! I will definitely not be giving this place another chance. It's close to where I live and it's a convenient option but it's just not worth the time or money. read more

Very impressed. Had deluxe mani (with paraffin) & pedi (callous removal) Ladies we're very attentive not only to me but to the two ladies on either side of me. In fact we customers discussed the customer service here and all agreed on a 5-star Yelp rating. A woman who arrived before me was getting a nail repair and they didn't charge her. Everyone here is very nice, speak English to you and when one of the techs felt my color wasn't even she decided to re-do it. Clean, plenty of colors to choose from and I didn't feel "rushed". I'll be back for sure. Way to go Julie. read more

So, I have already reviewed this place, but I had to step it up a notch simply because the staff and new owner has. Not only is the place remodeled BUT the new owner and new staff members are awesome. Prices are great for the area too. I now go to Cyndie to get my nails done. This girl is GREAT! She can do nail art too. My nails are real and I am very particular about how they are done. I am even adding a pic because I absolutely love my nails every time she does them and this last time was no exception. Go to this place and try it again. Remember, they are under new ownership and they are always busy now. It's not just some desolate place like ti was in the past. They will even offer you a beverage, everything is clean and new, and the nail tech are AMAZING. They do a really good job. If it's a weekend, I recommend making an appointment for sure. I've been going to this salon for over a year now and I absolutely love this place. The women are wonderful and they take care of your nails! I started going to this salon regularly and began to notice a pattern, none of their gel colors actually match the color presented on the nail. This is a bummer! If you want gel, you are forced to settle for a color that isn't true. The last time I visited, I picked 3 gel colors out from the samples that turned out to be way too dark. I found a regular non-gel polish that I loved and asked if they could just put clear gel on top and was told "No, because it does not last long." In addition, I would be charged a gel removal fee if I chose to go with the non-gel polish. I like that they are always available to service me right away and are quick but I won't be going back here until they get their gel colors together. read more

First timer here and it was overall a fine experience. I had Vickie and she was great. I got a dip + french tip which was $35 (great price) and I loved the way she shaped my nails. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had to go back for a fixing. Vickie said she told me the red color I chose was prone to being a little see-through where you could see my actual nails growing underneath (I guess this is common for dip powder??), but there must have been a miscommunication because it didn't register with me. Anyway, had to go back and she told me it's just how it is. But she did fix my thumbnail which was the worst of them all. The people here are accommodating and it's clean. I just won't ever choose a light color when doing dip powder. Lesson learned. read more
