So there's really nothing "luxury" about this place as far as the interior is concerned but they do a great job on my nails! I've been here maybe four or five times now and each time it's been with someone new (to me) and they've done a great job. I'm not a nail art person or someone who wear fake nails, I just do a standard gel mani and pedi and it always lasts 3+ weeks! Overall a great spot, they can usually always get you in and get it done quick! Went for a pedi and a mani dip treatment. Pedicures amazing but Leslie who did my dip polish charged me for a manicure and never gave me one. After one week the nails have completely fallen off. I wanted to get a pedicure on my birthday but wasn't near my regular place. I checked Yelp for recommendations and Luxury Nails fit the bill. Thanks to whoever posted the price list! Jacob and I walked in around noon on a Tuesday and were greeted pretty quickly. The manicurist asked us to sign in then to pick a polish. I noticed other patrons were offered refreshments but no one offered anything to either of us. They have tons of colors but I found most of their OPI polish was thinned to the point of transparency. I picked a different brand and waited for our turn. We were sat in massage chairs just a couple minutes later. The guy that helped me had me soak my feet immediately and went to work, but no one was available to do Jacob's at the same time. That really bummed me out and gave me anxiety, because I wanted to get pedicures together. I'd rather wait together until two people were available at the same time. The guy rushed through everything about my pedicure which is always my biggest annoyance at these cheap places. I looked toward the door and there were no customers waiting. The massage portion of the pedicure was just him lazily slathering my legs in body scrub and lightly running his hands over my legs. No rubbing or kneading and he didn't even bother to massage my feet. Huge bummer. The nail polish application was great; no complaints there. Jacob finally got his manicurist at the end of my pedicure, so I just sat by him while his lady went through the motions. I got jealous because she actually massaged his feet! Boo hiss. I can tell from photos they do nice acrylic and designs, but I wouldn't come back for a pedicure. Different start times for a couple plus being rushed left a bad taste in my mouth. Got a mani. Guy doing it was not mindful. He didn't soak my cuticles long enough and was rough when cutting them. He also skipped cutting the little hang nails on the top edges of my fingernails. I didn't bleed at the time but have redness and peeling at the base of the nails. I also had to ask him to paint to the side edges of my nails, which he missed on the first coat- not ideal with a sheer polish. Poor pint job - I could have done better. We had an appointment for 12 on a Saturday and we were seen right away, they were also able to sit my friend and I next to each other. I showed the gentlemen the picture and he went to work, and the end the young lady finished the designer which i really appreciate the tag team, instead of the guy just doing it if he wasn't comfortably. The place was very clean and welcoming and from what i could tell had a ton of fresh colors to choose from. It's been ten years since I had acrylics and very happy with how they turned out. The nail technician got mad at me because I asked her to adjust the edge of one nail (this was before it was polished). She became very rough while doing my nails after that and ended up cutting my hand in a couple of spots. She would shake my hand if she needed it to not be as tense, but I could help it after I was cut. I walked out with a very sore hand, poorly done nails and a very bad taste of this place. If I could give them zero stars I would, everything is WAY overpriced. And I'm not talking basic "luxury nails" this is just plain trash. For the quality of the nails the price is repulsive . To add acrylic to one nail to fix it it was $5 per nail, I understand polish not being included in a manicure but do not charge me $15 for basic nail polish that you get all over my hand and not clean up. My nails feel so flimsy that if I opened a car door they would break. They told me how much it would be for me and my daughters nails. I was told $86 for my daughter and $50 for me then when it came time to pay it all of a sudden was $101 for my daughter and $65 for me and the lady that did my daughters nails forgot her manicure and came up with some lie on the spot to make up for, I used to do nails and everything she said was false. I got a gel fill with a french manicure design and a french tip pedicure as well, I forgot to get my technicians name but she sits at the first station, my pedicure was done by a gentleman. I would consider myself pretty picky about my nails and was impressed with the uniformity and application of the design I wanted on my hands and toes. The men who work here are rough and distracted; the guy I had cut an almond shaped nail square immediately after I asked to NOT change my shape, brutalized my cuticles, and I mean cut me decently deep TWICE, could not return my nails to a decent almond, and left my thumb nails way longer than the other nails? It looked like *i* did my nails but when I was on a Benadryl high. Paint job, terrible. Listening skills, terrible.
