Toner between facial cleanse, glycolic chemical peel, massage, hot stone, enzyme, face mask (in the packet). Face feels clean. The toner burns the eyes a bit. The glycolic chemical peel only tingled a bit on my chest. Didn't feel any tingling on my face at all. Sam is nice, she was able to fit me in last minute. She had to tend to customers in between, but she made sure I was okay. Calming music in the background during my facial. My face feels really nice and clean. The massage was the best part for me. It's a bit expensive, but the facial and massage was good. My husband was sniffing me when I met up with him after my appointment, he said he could smell the mothballs on my coat and everywhere. The mothball smell was bad. The mothball smell wouldn't come out of my winter coat, my white alpaca sweater or my jeans or hair at all. Plan to shower and wash everything or dry clean afterwards. :/

My skin is far from perfect, I've suffered from hormonal acne since my teenage years. I found Carol Lewis Day Spa through recommendation from a friend. I made my appointment, and it was by far the best decision I have made. My facial was with Katie, a beautiful young professional who is a charismatic and very knowledgeable aesthetician. She asked questions no one else had ever asked me about my skin. She wasn't concerned about the clock, she took her time focusing on every problem area. She helped me understand my skin and its needs, the science behind skincare, and tips for getting the most out of my facial. She was not pushy about selling the products. She wrote a skin care routine that would help achieve the skin of my dreams. It was the first time I was the one asking for products. Needless to say, I bought a range of skin care products that were customized for my skin's needs. I left my facial absolutely glowing, my redness was gone, the hydration was restored, and best of all I had a new sense of hope that I could have beautiful skin. I am so looking forward to my next treatment of microdermabrasion and facial with Katie.

I was so skeptical about going with a mobile spa for my daughters bridal party, but the idea seemed…read moreso cool so I went ahead and booked a package. The day after I booked it I came across a Yelp review and saw the only review posted was 1 star rating! This made me even more nervous about this business so I expected the worst. However, the next day I received a call (I am assuming it was the receptionist) confirming my spa party. She was so friendly and made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. I was beginning to feel more at ease, but I was still timid to see the result. The day of my daughters bridal party, the lavender spa staff showed up EARLY (which I was shocked to see because of the other review on this site). They were super friendly and set up quickly. Unlike other nail technitions they actually made conversation with me and seemed to care about how our day was going. I know that is a small occurence, but to me, it's the little things that count. I was also very pleased with how fast they worked and how well my nails and feet turned out. I consistently get pedicures due to my rough heels but this was softest my feet had ever been! They gave me an awesome paraffin wax that I didn't even know existed! The massages were above and beyond my expectations, I wish I could give more detail on them but I was in heaven sleeping after 10 minutes. The other guests who got their makeup done looked gorgeous and were super pleased with their fresh look. They, too, were skeptical about the services because they didn't want to look "over done". However, the makeup artist gave them the exact look they were going for. Along with makeup, we also got lip and and eyebrow waxes. These turned out great. They used an aloe vera cream afterwards and it soothed my redness and itchiness that I normally have. :) Overall, I was very pleased with Lavender services. Their workers are kind and you can tell they are big on providing great customer service. I was so happy with the company that I booked another spa party for me and my girlfriends next month. I look forward to another great experience.

The receptionist was friendly. I was able to book a same day appointment. I was booked with a very sweet girl named Alexa. Alexa gave me a perfect haircut. I mean absolutely perfect. My hair is babyfine and there is a ton of it on my head. I've tried several salons in Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak. Alexa gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She was sweet and fun to talk to. But most importantly, she didn't spend the 45 minutes trying to sell me products! I don't know about you but I absolutely hate sitting in a stylist's chair and listening to a 45 minute sales pitch for the products the salon is selling. I just want to lay back, have someone wash my hair, and forget the world exists. Alexa delivered. And I got to walk out with hair that was perfectly cut. Oh, and as an added bonus Alexa does a fantastic blow dry! My locks were transformed into glossy, bouncy tresses. I didn't have to go home and re-style my hair!
