My concern came with paying for the service, which I used a credit card that I rarely use and provided a nice tip. The card was run out of my sight, my mistake. The card was hacked just after that charge. The timing of the card use and the hacked charges align. Horrible!! Went two weeks ago trying this place since I was in the neighborhood. Obtained services from "Kevin" dip services horrible, the nail filing shape, and took forever, bulky on the nail. I was a walk in and this person must just be learning to do dip nails. So disappointing as I had a special event and was not expecting this. Should not be doing dip yet. I didn't want to be a ginea pig. Also obtained a pedicure with regular polish no problems with that. Paid $100 total and so beat myself about how bad they looked. I went into the salon and asked for a dip polish manicure. I got seated immediately which was wonderful! The employees were kind as well, just seemed very novice. My manicurist had to restart twice. By the time it was semi right, my hands were so sore from the dremel. Finally after being in the salon for over 2 hours, my "manicure" was completed. My nails are extremely textured, bumpy, and the color isn't deep enough because only one coat was done. I will never return. My dip "manicure" was $55. Strong chemical smell, large displays of nail products. They give you a laminated menu of options. They provide white wine. I went as part of a group, the others had a better experience. The first foot seat the water didn't work, after the male employee messed with it for a while they moved me to another where the water worked but the adjust and massage for the seat didn't. The employees were not good at listening, there were strong accents but that could not have been the whole issue. Requests for water temperature and amount of pressure for the massage had to be repeated multiple times, and I have an ingrown toenail that I have an upcoming doctor's appointment for and asked them not to touch. My first and only time there, I had high hopes- it had a very comfortable vibe with good music on and everyone friendly. But my nail techs drills batteries were all dead and she kept running to her car to get another one. Then she left me alone to fix another clients nails who happened to come in. It was taking a while so I asked her if someone could finish putting acetone cotton on me, I wasn't even to that point yet. She had a hard time getting one of her coworkers standing in the back to come up to help. Someone eventually did and helped prep my nails. I walked in on a Sunday, had a lengthy wait but I didn't mind because I didn't have an appointment. I got a soak off and a fresh gel overlay. I had a shellac color in mind but opted out because I didn't like how the gel was laid on my nails. Some nails were thicker than others. Some nails had one side of the nail files more than the other. He tried to file the nails to make them better but it didn't help. I told him not to worry about the polish and I'll go home and fix them. Well, 2 days later 3 of the nails lifted. $50 for a set and I need a fill in 2 days later? Cheap products need to stop being used or they need to ensure the nails are prepped properly so that the gel/acrylic can adhere and not lift!! It was a total waste of money. Worst experience I've EVER had at a nail salon and I'm not exaggerating at all. I am new to Michigan so im still trying to find the right nail salon, & I went to one 2 times but they couldn't do simple designs so I decided I'd try this place. But still couldn't do something as simple as STARS. From the get go they were so rough with my nails. I had an acrylic set of pointy almond nails I needed off and asked if they could do stars on my nails. They rudely said no. Then I asked for just a pretty blue and pink ombré set. She said $85 for that. So I said nevermind I just want plain black with the same length and point I had coming in. Well I DID NOT get close to it. I had my real nails pretty long under the acrylics & asked for just a trim & I instead got my nails so short they aren't even visible!!! She was filing my nails down to get the shape & felt like she wasnt even touching nail. It was all my skin. I jumped a few times bc of the pain but she continued then I noticed the corners of my nails were BLEEDING bc of how rough she was. I got charged $105 for the worst mani pedi of my life. They aren't even at all!! Every nail is a different shape. UGH!!! She kept trying to charge me more for things that should be in the original pricing. I've never in my life paid $65 for a manicure with no added designs or anything!!! Overall it was traumatizing. My fingers hurt so bad from that woman. $105 and I'm left with nothing but disappointment. They don't even deserve the 1 star I gave. Will NEVER GO BACK IF MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. read more

I came here with my friend to get pedicures.... we called ahead and they said to come in, in about 20 minutes... which is what he did. When we walked in, no one greeted us. We stood there awkwardly not knowing who to check in with. After standing around for awhile, we went to look at nail polish color. Someone finally helped us and we were instructed to sit in the chairs, the tubs were filling with water. I had to adjust my own water temp and pressure. And there was a ton of water on the floor. We literally sat in the chairs with our feet soaking for another 15 minutes. Finally someone came to start my friend's pedicure. About 7 minutes later, China came to help me. China was super friendly and did a great job on my pedicure!!!!!! Before she was done with me, the owner told her she had another client waiting. She didn't rush or try and get me out of there in a hurry, which was nice. When she finished my pedicure, she walked my friend & me upfront to put our feet under the dryers. She told us to wait at least 10-15 minutes before leaving. We were under the dryer not even 10 minutes, and then another lady with another client, kicked us out.... she said her client needed to dry! I was so appalled! I left there without even putting my shoes on because my toes weren't even close to being dry! I mean it's cold out & I had to leave wearing the pedicure flip flops, in order not to wreck my nails. Very disappointing! Again though, China was fantastic! And I love my nails!!!!! read more

I used to frequent Saigon with my mom for over 2 years and that's now ended. It started out great! $50 for shellac mani/pedi and the techs were great, offer of wine and water, great service. We ignored the initial $10 price hike and the constant turnover of employees at first, but over the past year, the owner has consistently raised the prices (same mani/pedi now $75) and the service is lacking. Its one thing to raise the price, but it's another to lie and say I've been paying that the entire time, like receipts don't exist. I refuse to go back now that I've found better service and prices on 9 mile. P.S. Don't EVER tell a client that they can't see the person they made an appointment with. I went here on a Saturday evening after calling and asking about appointments. They were able to get myself and a friend in right away, and were really nice! I got a Shellac manicure and my friend got acrylics. My manicure was done within 15 minutes, and it took less than 30 for the acrylics. She didn't do much with my cuticles, but it wasn't terrible. However, it's just over a week later and my polish is peeling on most of my nails, and my friend's nails are loose and her polish is chipping. I'll go back to my own salon next time. read more

After great results on my eyebrows, I went in for a manicure. It was awesome as well. They really take the time to make sure your nails are perfect before you leave. This weekend I went for my first pedicure there, and it's a lot different than your typical nail salon. They really rub your feet and legs, and like the manicure, they make sure your nails are perfect. I think a manicure alone is $12 or $15, a manicure & pedicure together are $35 The ambiance is a lot better than most nail salons. I feel much more relaxed, and I could literally fall asleep while getting my eyebrows waxed. But like the below reviewer- I agree the staff isn't very personable. I love the ladies at Saigon Spa. This is the place for me for a relatively quick pedi and mani if I have time. There are four massage chairs and spa tubs for your feet. The ladies are quiet and work very quickly with the perfect touch. For $25 you get a good soak, chair massage, foot scrub and rub, and color of your choice. Not bad in my book. The salon is always clean, quiet, and never have a wait if I call ahead. I'm normally in and out in 30 mins. I've also gotten a decent brow wax here for $10. After speaking with the tech, she told me she doesn't do a traditional Brazilian, which wasn't a big deal. I proceeded with the wax. After what seemed like an eternity, I sat up to check out the progress. There still hair everywhere!! She had been waxing the same areas multiple times. When I asked her what the problem was she just said she can't get the hair. She wanted to charge me $65. Long story short I paid $40, and I still have to pay someone for a full Brazilian because the wax was so terrible. I even attempted to pluck some of the hairs, but upon further investigation realized there was more hair than I realized. So back to Bianchi's, where I should've gone in the first place. read more

I always get shellac on my real nails and almost every time I went in there, they'd complain about having to do shellac either on my toes or hands. The last time I went in there was the last straw.... had a man doing my shellac pedicure and right away, him and the other girl working were saying they didn't want to work with the shellac on my toes and it made me feel uncomfortable. Going back and forth with each other saying "no, u do it" stupid child stuff. During the pedicure, the man doing my nails kept complaining about other past customers to me. It was weird and it was like he forgot I was also a customer. Normally when you're getting a pedicure, they soak your feet. He did not. For some reason he literally grabbed my foot and started filing my nails right there instead of in the pedicure chairs. It was weird and I'm never going back.
