This is exactly what I was looking for!! I get pedicures, but I always wanted more scrubbing and actual treatments for my feet. I really didn't care about polish. I did the cloud pedicure and it was lovely!! When I walked in, I was greeted and had my temperature checked and was instructed to wash my hands. All the tools used were either disposable, or were packaged showing they were sanitized. The jelly felt so cool on my feet. There was a scrub, a wax dip, lotions and oils, polish, and hot stones rubbed on my legs and feet, and smaller stones places in-between my toes!!! I had such a great experience here. They offer water, coffee or wine when you first sign in. The decor is very nice! The service was good. The pedicure felt so good. They soaked my feet in some type of jelly like substance... it was amazing. I traveled 45 minutes to get here and it was worth it. Shout to Steff who did my pedicure. read more

I was eager to try this place and support a black owned business however this has been disappointing. I booked online and let the system pick a person. The nail tech was nice however she was LATE. She told me that I had booked an early appointment.. it was 10:45 am. The site had so many options and I didn't know what many of the services were...but I felt like couldn't go wrong with nail art. She told me did not know how to to do any nail art and wasn't a good drawer. She tried to get me to get stickers, jewels, Ombre and I declined. We agreed to outlining 4 nails instead...apparently this is considered nail art because I was still charged the price for 4 fingers of nail art. Which I questioned the receptionist about when I went to pay. I was not happy about that...My overall experience was not pleasant. She kept on burning my fingernails with the drill and I ended up with sore fingers. She did a great job shaping my nails, coffin like I had asked for. I got my nails done Thursday and 4 days later 1 of them was lifting. 7 days later and now 5 nails are lifting. Smh. The nail parlor is nice and comfortable and they play great music but maybe the nail tech I had needs a little bit shadowing/training or maybe she could have asked someone to step in and complete the nail art. I am not sure what brand of acrylic was used because she pulled out a small jar from her bag. It clearly is trash because my nails are lifting and now I have to pay more money to get these off so I don't get a fungus. I honestly did not feel like the nails that I walked out of there with were worth $64 but I still left her a tip....so this came out to be $70 something and I would rather go to a shop closer to get this nail removed and replaced then the 40 min drive time there and back. I will never come back here. This was a total waste of money and time. read more

I had my nails done here 3 times. The first time my nails came out great and lasted 3 weeks. The 2nd time my nails were not as smooth and flawless and 5 began lifting after a week. Originally wanted a repair but by the time I was able to get in I just went with a fill on everything. Started having lifting on 2 nails within 4 days. This time I decided just to pop in instead of trying to schedule a fix. There was only 1 tech and she was busy, asked me to come back later that day when I wasn't available. Asked her to at least glue one nail that was lifting very bad. I also requested my deposit that I paid on my last visit for my future appointment (their policy) because I wasn't going to get my nails done there again if they kept lifting within days. The tech called the manager, she told me to leave my name and number. It's been over a week and still have not received a call or my deposit back. My deposit was less than $15 so I am not going to go broke, but it's crappy business. I wanted to support this business, but they don't really seem to care about resolving issues. read more

Service was pretty good. I had a misunderstanding about something I wanted done but apparently they did not offer. When I spoke to the receptionist twice both times I said I wanted dip. Come to find out they do not offer it and when I told Oprah that the receptionist did not correct me she claimed "maybe You misunderstood". They don't have a lot of nail options with length as far as dip, acrylic, gel, etc. I ended up getting acrylics which is not at all what I wanted to do. The last girl that did my nails did a poor quality job. They're bumpy, spilling past my nail, she did not notice to clip my cuticles. Not the best experience, so I will not be back. I have been a client of Oprah's for well over three years, and usually I am extremely happy with my service. However, this last appt has made me change my perspective of this salon and have made me question whether I will ever book services at Polished again. So, let me try and explain. In order to receive Oprah's services, you have to book at least 2 to 3 weeks, and in some cases, a month ahead of time to get a spot with her because she's very busy. I don't mind doing this because it ensures that she receive payment in the unfortunate event that someone doesn't show. This month (July), Oprah had shortened availability due to family obligations and a pre planned vacation, so Oprah informed me, at my previous appt, that if I needed a new set before the holiday (July 4th) that I would have to book with one of her two employees (I won't mention her name, cause she tried her best and she was very nice) that would be staffing that week. I agreed, because I had no other choice . The only thing I asked of Oprah was to direct me to the best candidate for my service, because I am very "extra" or some would call "ghetto" with my nails. I like long 3d crystal nails, with all nails having a different design and/or look. Oprah know exactly what to do without me saying a word. I LOVE THAT. Fast forward to the day of the appt. I was 15 min late, with 10 minutes given for grace period, so technically just 5 min late, so I was willing to give up a small portion of my service, if needed, do to the inconvenience. So, my first service was stoned out big toes, with a plain polish, which should have been 40 min. It lasted two hrs! In those two hours she (tech) had to be informed or reminded that I was getting simple stoned big toes and polish on the other toes, as she had begun doing nail art. She also removed the polish three times from my smaller toes, citing that she didn't like them! I'm ecstatic that she wanted to do her best work, but restarting three times really cuts into your allotted time. In her defense though, we were having an extensive conversation where it's easy to lose track of time, but a tech has to know how to manage her time and know when it's time to start wrapping a service. I gave her a verbal tip of utilizing her stopwatch feature on her phone or iwatch to give her a 10 min warning when shes approaching the end of her allotted time. My second service was a long freestyle set, but she looked to be struggling or maybe rushing (because she was behind schedule), so I told her to just cut them short and give me a gel polish to end the struggle and cut the time, because at that point, another client had arrived for her appointment. So, I left with short, boxed, lumpy, 4th of July themed grandma nails that I HATED!! I left smiling because I didn't want to put the young lady on the spot, and I thought I'd bring my concerns to Oprah later and she'd fix it. But, when I contacted Oprah, that wasn't the case!! I wasn't going to write a review, and I was just going to live with my lumpy nail until my next appt, but when I got the response I received I decided to write this review, because I feel it was unfair. I first DM'd Oprah on IG and when I didn't get response, I tried going to the website and utilizing the "chat" button, and got a response. I explained my concerns. My lumpy nail, all my nails lifting and chipping after a couple days, my left middle finger nail popping completely off, the rhinestones on my big toes started popping off the same day I left the shop and I now have only about 20% of the stones remaining !!!! This is totally unacceptable and a total waste of money, as these services are pricey! After all of this, I was told, according to their rules, you have to have all repairs done by the tech that did your set!!! WTF!!! That's not going to happen, so I guess I just threw my money away this time!! I'm no business owner, but I'd like to offer a word of advice. You built your clientele from individuals who love and admire YOUR work. When we come to your shop, we want to be serviced by YOU! I understand that you are only one person, and can't do it all, but allowing individuals to utilize cheap supplies that is causing early lifting and rhinestones to pop off prematurely can't be a positive attribute in maintaining your stellar reputation! I feel that my issues wasn't properly evaluated, being I haven't had a complaint with my nails for over three years!! I loved supporting another black sister, and I absolutely hate that this has happened. Wasnt happy going for first time. Came in for a fill cuz my whole hand of nails were lifting n the woman took over 2 hours to do. within two days my nails were lifting again. Instead of cutting back the nails that were lifting she glued them down. Plus she didnt even get down to my cuticles with the fill powder n nail polish. She charged me high cost for bad service.
