      Damage to my trim
      Leena F.

I finally got my vehicle back and everything was rectified. I will say that the problems that I had to experience with this company we're not satisfactory. however, the end product is exceptional.. Now, if they had just done that the first time then I wouldn't have had any issues

Ashleigh Delgado and Westley are the absolute BEST! Dealing with a car accident and major body damage is NOT fun! However, Ashleigh has been an angel between dealing with me nagging and the stupid insurance company, Allstate (don't use them btw...they're the WORST!!!) I'm seriously so impressed by the way they've taken care of me and calmed my nerves. I highly recommend Luxury Auto Works for any luxury vehicle repairs.

Run for hills,do not use this guy. I'm in process to take him to court. Second time I used him was…read morefor simple brake job. This guy that he sent had to come back because break line and components came off next day while driving. I have pics and texts to prove. My GM 6.2 V8 come to find out common problem for that motor lifters went out so I went to him for the engine replacement. His price quoted was pretty good so I gave him a shot. My car was not even drivable this whole time (we had to wait on engine and things for months) yet I get a call the day he test drives it for the first time and he tells me I need new steering column. The car did not go in for steering issues. It was completely fine. He blames it on wear and tire from my lift and big tires. I call the people who did my lift and I called covert Cadillac certified mechanics and gave the history of car and lift and all and they called BS. My fault for not driving to Frank's place to see for myself. So I pick it up after engine replacement and steering column replacement. I get not but a mile down road from his shop and no acceleration and engine is just revving up loud . I coast off the road to luckily a gas station right there. What looks like oil and grease is splattered all over undercarriage and side and back windows. I have pics of all this. Transmission line came off. I won't give any more specific on this because I'm in process of filing the lawsuit and taking him to court. So He has a guy come meet me, I took video of his mechanics actions and what he did and Frank telling him on the phone I'm good to go, needless to say he screwed up. I get home and next day the car does it again right as I drive out of my home. I call Frank to get it towed back to his shop which is about 45 min to an hour from Lakeway. Frank gets car back, now he tells me I need new transmission. After transmission I go back to car to pickup and I go to open my door and there was mechanic grease all over headliner and seats, spilled oil on my rubber mats, bird shit all over the outside and dust and pollen caked the interior. He left windows cracked. I took pics of everything as proof. He decides to offer me a detail, so he sends me down the road. He paid for it yet I waited 3 hours. What I'm paid for my time in work you could say was a bigger loss. The fact alone my car was in that condition when he called to tell me it was ready is reason alone you shouldn't use him. I've included pics with this post. I could go on with several other smaller things I asked him to do while he had my car for engine replacement and transmission repair that I needed done. He never fixed them. I again have proof where he acknowledges he forgot so now I have to reschedule to have him finish the job. I also recorded most of our phone conversations that prove he apologizes for messing up. It came to the point where I was recording the convos because prior to me doing that it was just word salad on his part and I knew it this point I needed to document for the court. You would be amazed how many texts I have where I have had to constantly follow up and check on him after he would give me a supposed timeline or update with a promise he would keep me updated. I'm convinced all these reviews on here that are high stars aren't legit whatsoever. I have meticulously documented everything with pics, texts and phone conversations. If you're smart and reading this don't give him your business no matter how well quoted he may be . He may try to defend himself with a reply like some others he's done to on here. I've got it all though m, the truth. I was always extremely nice in all my texts to him, I was at the mercy of his screw ups and didn't want to be a jerk. No matter what when your rude or a jerk you run the risk to be even more screwed over so I chose to take high road and he knows it. I've verified and shown all my proof to several different master General Motors Master technicians and they all came back with resounding response that Frank was at fault. So now it will be in the courts hands and I will update this once it's over. For anyone that would like to know more you can contact me. I've got all you would need to run as fast as you can from this mechanic. I've even documented some new mechanics that showed me what things he did that they couldn't believe from when he did the engine replacement. His shop spliced so many wires and I took video the moment the mechanics found these issues and they talk on camera about it. I've asked Frank over the last several weeks and really last 6 months to send me an itemized list of repairs like a receipt. His reply was he texted me the cost every time he had to charge me for something. Last thing, he never once showed up on time for any of the jobs that he did. I have proof of his reasons for being late and apologies for every one of them. What kind of professional does that. All the more reason to believe these reviews are fake

I looked for a month before finding a good used Prius. I had 7 business days after purchase to change my mind, so I needed trusted mechanics to check it out in that limited timeframe. I took it to Danny Luu bc he was my trusted mechanic when I lived in austin. And though he's not a hybrid car mechanic, I wanted a thorough check of all the nonhybrid components. I took my Prius to him, met a friend at Kim Phung next door for lunch, and he finished the inspection in a little over an hour. This was a whole car exam, the kind like you might get before going on a long road trip. Danny gave me a 2-3 page report on all the systems and components (except the hybrid stuff) which pointed out a couple of things that would need attention sooner rather than later. This was exactly the kind of very useful exam I wanted for my car and it gave me peace of mind about buying an older used car. Then 2026 arrived and hello high gas prices! I'm so glad I went with the Prius--best car purchase I could've made! And Danny Luu made it possible--thank you Danny So glad you're still working after all these years! He's one of the most honest, reliable, trustworthy mechanics in Austin.

Long story short, Be aware of how they calculate your "estimate"...it's not for the actual time of…read morework put into your car...its based on arbitrary time calculated by a software program. They are honest...but they are honest about how they are going to overcharge you for work. In this economy, it isn't right. I recently brought my 2019 Buick Encore here for an electrical issue with the cooling fan and relay. The owner was polite and responsive, which I appreciated. The hourly rate of $110 is fair and standard, but what I can't overlook is how the shop calculates time and parts costs. The estimate showed over 2.5 hours of labor for a job that takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. When I asked for clarification, the owner said their pricing comes from a software called PRODEMAND, which sets "national standard" labor times. That may sound official, but it doesn't reflect how long the work actually takes. It's a flat-rate billing system that inflates labor on simpler jobs. In other words, you're paying based on software, not the real effort or time spent on your car. The parts markup was also steep. I was told that I needed a new relay sensor and that the cooling fan ***RESISTOR*** was the problem in my quote notes. But I kept reading and on the list below the notes he quoted me the cost for both a relay sensor fuse (way over the market price) as well as a FULL COOLING FAN/ ASSEMBLY ***way*** over the market price. Not simply a resistor. What? Let me rephrase: A relay sensor/fuse that costs $15-$20 at retail price was quoted to me at $42.82 by this shop, and when I asked for transparency on the "local cost," I never got a clear answer. Likewise, I was told the sole cooling fan resistor part couldn't be replaced separately and that I would have to buy a ***full brand new fan unit*** even though RESISTOR replacements (only) for this model clearly exist. When I asked why? That's a shop policy, he says. I even TRIED TO NEGOTIATE a lower price by offering to BUY THE PARTS MYSELF, but he was unwilling. Here was his response to my questions: "To answer your question, 1. Any part you search online will always be cheaper than the local cost. The price you are quoted is the local cost plus shop mark up. 2. The resistor has failed, and the resistor is connected to the fan motor. We will not be able to use your parts. -Every shop works differently, in regards to replacing parts. For us to do this job we would replace the full fan assembly. We cannot replace the resistor independently. 3. We charge $110 per hour and the calculated rate is based on PRODEMAND which is a national software estimating guide. 4. Replacing only the relay will not fix the problem. You have two separate issues. Thanks," I'm not saying they're dishonest; I believe they follow their own internal system. But customers should know how those estimates are built, especially when money is tight and car repairs are essential for work and daily life. I would search for a different mechanic if I were you. However, If you go here, ask for the PRODEMAND labor hours up front, ask for the part's pre-markup price up front, and confirm whether a part is truly unserviceable or just replaced by policy. The transparency matters...because without asking, you'll pay more than the repair actually costs. I don't like it one bit. You shouldn't either. Good luck.

I left my car about 2 days this was in March and then I picked it up, they told me they fixed the leak, that the smell of oil would linger until the car had burned the oil that spilled down, I drove my car, and consistently saw leaks and smelled oil, I thought it was my AC water in the floor, I worked from home so I don't drive my car a lot, come July and the oil change light came on, it has never come on before, even when I had not changed my oil.. I took it to Excalibur for the oil change, I made an appt for 8AM as reccomended by the front desk guy James - I get there at 8, I greet him, he looks at me, doesn't greet me, no answer, he looks miserable, he just barks at me "last name?" I tell him that I thought they had fixed that 3 months ago.. he looks surprised back tracks and says oh it's probably not the same leak.. the leak probably went to another weak spot- but to bring the car in again and they look at it- I do... he calls me and tells me that it's a different leak- I ask him that why didn't they fix it back then - he says my car is old, he tells me it's "100% on you" that I didn't call them sooner - James was super rude and standing behind subpar lazy service- he wanted to charge me upwards of $400 to fix the leak - I said no, took it to my other mechanic- my other mechanic said that the leak was visible and that they had only changed the top part and not the actual main leak on the car - never going back there again, James if you don't want to be professional and patient, even my boyfriend that doesn't know you said you were super rude to him when he went to drop of my car - just save everyone the agony of your services. I knew I wasn't gonna get my money back and I wouldn't trust my car back in their hands.. never again..

The technicians did thorough diagnostic work and the repairs, while expensive, were legitimate and necessary. I want to specifically thank Ike and Martin for how they treated me as a customer. Ike was friendly and went out of his way to help by giving me a ride home and later making sure I was able to get the loaner car when it had been made unavailable. Martin was also professional and supportive throughout the process. My main issue was with the service management, specifically Deon. The loaner car option was not brought up when it should have been, and after a frustrating phone call about the situation, Deon immediately called me back to ask if I wanted the loaner. From a customer service perspective, that follow-up was poorly timed and escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. When a customer is already upset about communication and options not being presented earlier, calling back right away without acknowledging that tension makes things worse, not better. The shop clearly has capable technicians and helpful front-facing staff, but the way the situation was handled at the service management level added unnecessary stress to an already difficult and expensive repair. With better communication and timing from management, this could have been a much better experience Sincerely, Andrew Johnson

Their prices are either in line or slightly less than dealership prices, and they do stand behind their work. This is their only location that can handle luxury cars like my Mercedes. It was time to do the schedule B service on my C300. It is the 60,000 mile or 10 year service and it runs about $1500 on average. And that's not including the transmission service. It's also a 3 to 4 hour job, which is why it's best to have someone pick you up. You can sit in their small basic waiting room where you can find complementary water and coffee. There are some places within a few blocks of walking such as Taco Cabana or Mandolas where you could spend some more quality time waiting. They have a very skilled service tech who also works on BMWs as well. They also work on EV's although that work is limited. They had my schedule B service done in 3 1/2 hours and were able to save me a couple hundred dollars making it just $1300. I was also not charged a credit card fee. Will be returning for future maintenance. Informative photos included.
