The owner has becme very rude and cocky over the past few months, is getting worse, and likes to gossip and insult the customers. I have always appreciated their services and always supported them, but after the last few times I have come in here and seen how nasty and greedy the owner and his wife have become, I have had enought. It is time to switch salons! I was a loyal customer to this nail salon since they opened (for almost 10 years), referred many people here, and they don't care. They pretend to be your friend to get information about you, then talk badly behind your back to the other customers, staff, and people that live in the area. It's sick! Then they act like they never said anythng. They can talk gargabe behind your back, but are too much of a coward to say it to your face. All they care about is getting your money! Did I mention that the wife of the owner of this salon has the nerve to tell other customers that her husband hates me while they are in the chair getting their nails done during the same time I am at the salon?! I couldn't believe it as I never have done anything to them! All I did was support them, and I am still in shock as why they have treated me like this. There is something wrong with this couple that owns this salon, and I would advise to stay away from them. I would check out other salons in the area, and just avoid this place all together. The only person that has remained consistant and professional over the years is the one stylist Calvin. In terms of the rest of the staff, I dont know what their problem or issue is, and I don't want to know. They can insult someone else. I would recommend to go elsewhere. They are better places to go that provide better quality, better customer service, where the salon is cleaner and newly renovated, there are places that have better pricing (I know as I have done my research the last few months before switching), other places have a better colour and style selection, other salons will do a design or ombre without making a big deal or refusing a simple request (not reject your request and get their other clients to post cheesy sticker designs placed on their nail and edit their google review afterward lol), other places appreciate their clientale, and there are other salons that do not insult you in Vietnamese behind your back while you are getting your nails done, gossip about you to their staff/clients in the salon, or people in the area to try and ruin your reputation. This place is rated a 4.7 on Google, but I disagree, after recieving this abusive treatment consistantly for the last six months, I would rate this nail salon as a 4.1, if that! Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin. Her work was pretty good as the shellac was smooth and didn't get any on my cuticles or skin. She made sure to check my nails were evenly shaped compared to my other hand. I also liked their colour selection. Happy I found a new nail place I like!

Honestly, there will be reviews that people aren't happy with the wait because there honestly aren't that much staff here, but I've been to places like Kathy Nails that will get you in on time, but get you out fast and back there real fast because it wasn't done right. They've got a ton of colours to choose from, whether it's shellac or regular colours. Great place, reasonable price!

The nail stylist proceeded to file these nails down with the electrical filer usually used for shellac. They were sitting right beside me and my anxiety was through the roof. Why would she be allowed to get her nails done? In this situation, shouldn't the business refuse service? I would really hope so but I guess not?? There was foot fungus nail dust flying everywhere and I was panicked and upset that I hadn't worn a mask. I'm really not sure how I feel after this experience. I'm going to have to just stay home and do my nails on my own. If you have foot fungus, please treat it first. Hiding it under coats of nail polish is not helping anyone! Walked in shortly after they opened and there were already 4 people inside, which tells you just how popular they are. However, that didn't stop them from fitting me in to do a shellac mani pedi. I very seldom get a mani pedi, so please forgive me if your opinion differs from mine in terms of their colour selection, but I'd they have over 100 colours for shellac which was overwhelming but nice because there's something for everyone for every season. I got my pedicure done by Tina and my manicure done by Amy. Both of them are very meticulous, gentle, and patient. They both took the habit of checking in with me to see if I liked what they had done so far, which I appreciated. While I am not very picky or particular, I could tell that both of them cared about making my nails look great. A few other things: - Like other yelpers have said, if you're looking for relaxation and a quiet ambience, this is not the place for that, though they have great massage chairs. - Located by Summerhill Station, you can imagine the clientele they get. I walked in in my workout gear after a 12h night shift and felt out of place with women in fur coats, expensive bags, and pearls. This didn't trump the service though, they treat you as a customer they aim to please. - Tools used are all individually packaged and they open them up in front of you. - Pay flat rate with cash, tax added for card payments.
